Appearance— Nabi has a really pale complexion and blue eyes. She lacks melanin in her eyes and skin, something she inherited from her mother. She also has really long and thick eyelashes and naturally red lips. She isn't stick thin, but a healthy kind of thin caused by proper dieting and exercise (like TWICE's Tzuyu and Momo, WJSN's Cheng Xiao and IOI's Sejeong and Somi). She also mile-long legs and has two pairs of large, noticable bumps on her body: one pair on her upper half and another on her bottom half (Yes, you guessed it, her s and ).

Style— She's the type of girl that would wear any kind of clothing and accessories - from heels to slippers, shirts to blouses, pants to skirts, dresses to tees. As long as she's comfortable and looks good, she's fine. The only exceptions are those too outlandish or inappropriate. But if the stylist gives her clothing in her exceptions list, she would bear with it.

One thing you'll never see her without are chokers. She really likes them.

Nabi is an incredibly open-minded person. She doesn't judge people immediately. It takes her to know one better to actually think badly about someone (of course, there's the exceptions of the truly depraved people of the world like rapists and murderers). She also strives to understand people always. This girl is open to new experiences and learnings. Nabi is a big-hearted person - she really has a lot of room in her heart. She cares a lot, is very considerate and is really compassionate. She likes helping people and making sure everyone is okay. Because of that, she is very supportive of others, always caring for them and reassuring them when they're in doubt. Nabi is very well-mannered. She's always polite and courteous to everyone. She's also pretty witty and funny - she knows what to say or do that would make people laugh or be amused, causing her to be someone you'd really like to see in variety shows and broadcasts. This girl is absent-minded. She tends to daydream and forget about things a lot when she's not doing any of her passions (though sometimes she still does - her papa will never forget the day she almost hit herself with a spatula because she was daydreaming while cooking). Background

Nabi, then Jeon Nabi, was born to Jeon Hyunsik and Kwon Heeyoung. The first four years of her life were normal, to be honest. Well, except for the fact that she took on dancing, piano, violin and modelling lessons. Her mother was her main inspiration in music - she was a former ballerina who loved playing the piano. Her family wasn't poor but they weren't rich either - they were somewhere in the upper middle class. She had a loving and caring mom and a distant but caring father. People also tended to point out her eyes a lot, but it was okay, she had her family. All was well.

Her content life was ruined when her mother found out that her father was having an affair. What he had done completely ruined Nabi's image of him. Heeyoung divorced Hyunsik and got custody over their daughter. The mother and daughter pair then moved to her maternal grandparents' house.

A few months later, they moved to New Zealand. Heeyoung, named Hyacinth, got a job as a florist in a high-end flower shop and a side job as a wildlife photographer, so she had no problem supporting her daughter by herself. Hyunsik still sent money for child support though, which Heeyoung appreciated despite everything he did. Nabi, named Iridessa, was a bit overwhelmed with the new language, culture, food and country, but she eventually adjusted. She continued her dancing and modelling lessons, and adding acting, gymnastics and ice skating to the mix.

When she was 7, her mother met her step-father Luciano and they got married when she was 9. With him came her older step-brother Alessandro. Her papa adopted her and her umma adopted Alessandro so that they'd be full siblings in the eyes of law. She and her mother were introduced to both sides of his family (Italian and French) and were given Italian and French names in addition to their English and Korean ones. Her new father and brother were also introduced to her mother's family and were given Korean names. The names were important to the family of four because it meants they were accepted.

At 10, Nabi discovered Kpop, namely Wonder Girls and SHINee. She started doing her lessons seriously because she wanted to be like them. She also added singing to her repertoire of skills. When she was 14 almost 15, while shopping Seoul with her family, she was approached by a Source Music Entertainment scout to be a trainee. After deliberating with her family, she accepted and decided to live in Korea with her grandparents. She also decided to go to School of Performing Arts Seoul.

Nabi would be the sweet girlfriend whose open to anything her love interest wants. Trainee Life

It was hard at first, to be honest. Trainee life isn't easy and coupled with the fact that she had only been in Korea for the first few years of her life and when she and her family vacation there, everything was harder than it looked. There was also the thing about Mingyu's blue eyes. A lot of people thought they were weird and she could hear a couple of people murmur about her being a freak here and there - living in New Zealand, where blue eyes weren't uncommon, had made her forget about how Koreans usually only ever saw black, brown or hazel eyes. But her sweet demeanor and warm nature did win over a lot of people in the end. Nabi's only thankful she didn't have those glittery and delusioned view of trainee and idol life before accepting.

Originally, Nabi was placed in dance because that's what she showcased. Then they decided to add singing when they discovered she had singing lessons before. The past 6 months have also seen that she rap was added to her training.

She put everything into her training - often practicing very late in the night to make sure her singing, rapping and dancing was great. Despite that, Nabi also liked hanging out with her friends and just having fun with life.
