PERSONALITY :　

Boyoung is an incredibly open-minded person. She doesn't judge people immediately. It takes her to know one better to actually think badly about someone (of course, there's the exceptions of the truly depraved people of the world like rapists and murderers). She also strives to understand people always. Boyoung is a big-hearted person - she really has a lot of room in her heart. She cares a lot, is very considerate and is really compassionate. She likes helping people and making sure everyone is okay. Because of that, she is very supportive of others, always caring for them and reassuring them when they're in doubt. Boyoung is very well-mannered. She's always polite and courteous to everyone. She's also pretty witty - she knows what to say or do that would make people laugh or be amused, causing her to be someone you'd really like to see in variety shows and broadcasts. She's also really genuine - she'll never hide herself behind a mask. This girl is also adaptable, she hardly ever blinks when changes occur and just goes with the flow of things.

She's really innocent though. Not innocent in the way that she doesn't know how the world works but in the way that she can be really oblivious and gullible. Another thing is that she's very passionate - she does everything she even remotely likes to do with passion. This causes her to overwork herself though. Her passionate trait gets along well with her being strong-willed - she will never give up in something she's set her mind to. Boyoung is also really altruistic - she gives and gives and gives. Sometimes, she cares more about other people than her own well-being. She's also protective of the people she loves and cares about. She will do everything for their happiness. Unfortunately, not everyone likes being protected. Boyoung is also very creative - she thinks outside of the box, is innovative, is resourceful and has a unique thinking process. Not everyone understand though. She's also a vibrant person - she's really enthusiastic about life and enjoys the little things in it. Sometimes, she rubs the wronf way with people with her enthusiasm.

This girl is absent-minded. She tends to daydream and forget about things a lot when she's not doing any of her passions (though sometimes she still does - her bothers will never forget the day she almost stabbed herself with her knitting needles because she was daydreaming while knitting). She's also really clumsy, in the "I-will-break-things" kind of way. People wonder how she becomes graceful and full of finesse when on stage. She's also sensitive - it's easy for her to be hit with critcisms. Thus this fuels Boyoung's insecure side. She tends to think she's never enough. She has to do more, she has to be more. If it ween't for her being strong-willed, she would've quit by now.  This girl is also a neatfreak so expect her to clean and organize a lot.  It's on OCD levels, to be honest. No matter how nice or kind she is, she's really competitive. She will do anything to win - and yes, it includes cheating if she's in friendly competitions, comedic contest or variety shows.

BACKGROUND :　

Boyoung was born to Choi Joohyuk, the CEO of Byul Inc. and philantrophist, and Kim Haneul, a famous interior designer and philantrophist, with two older brothers, Junghwan and Hyunwoo. Being the youngest child and only daughter to a wealthy family, she wanted for nothing. She was given everything she needed and wanted. It's only thanks to her parents being well-grounded people, unlike the snobby chaebols you see in dramas, that she didn't end up a spoiled child. At the age of two, she showed an interest in singing and dancing. Immeiately after, her parents signed her up for multi-dance and singing classes. Two years later, she took piano, cooking, baking, sewing and knitting lessons.

She was scouted by SidusHQ and became a child model and actress when she was 4. When it was time to go to school at 6 years old, it was hard for her. Being born with a lack of melanin, which caused her to have snow pale skin and blue eyes, there was a lot of remarks about her. Everyone envied and loved her complexion, however, many hated and scorned her blue eyes. They thought her eyes were weird and called them "goblin eyes", "dog's eyes", "animal's eyes", and more. It didn't matter that she was an actress, model, heiress and human being, she was still weird. It was a good thing she found true friends in school, compromised of Shimizu Akiko, Park Minji and Vivian Bomi Jones.

Being a model and actress didn't exactly leave her with a lot of time with friends. At 7, Vivian moved back to America because she couldn't take being called a "mongrel" and "half breed" by people. At the age of 8, Akiko went back to Japan. Her final friend, Minji, moved to Jeju-do when she was 10. And since social media wasn't really all that then, they didn't have a means to communicate.

At the age of 12, she took gymnastics lessons. She felt very lonely and it wasn't until her cousin Haru, her brothers and her parents showed her that she has them.

When her contract with SidusHQ expired, she transferred over to C&P Entertainment. She was testing out her singing and dancing skills in an empty practice room when a staff stumbled upon her. The next week, she was placed in idol training.

The only downside is that he's very protective of his only princess. He's also a bit hesitant with her dream of becoming an idol.

Haneul doesn't seem like a great mother to other people because of her flighty demeanor and air-headed tendencies. They don't see her spine of steel and heart of gold. She's her children's number one supporter in all she does. Boyoung absolutely loves her. She's her mother's butterfly, after all.

On the outside, Junghwan is basically the mysterious, snarky chaebol in many dramas. He's a protective and loving man, however. Boyoung and he were inseperable when they were younger and he still looks out for her.

Boyoung also likes teasing her unnie about having a crush on Mayhem's manager, Junyeong.

TRAINEE LIFE :　Transitioning from actress and model to idol trainee is harder than it looks. Some people were resentful of her background, saying that the only reason she became a trainee was because she had money and that "a model would be a good trainee because she'd bring in a lot of fans with her face". Those comments hurt her a lot - she was more than loads of money and a pretty face, she had talent too. She didn't have dance and singing classes since she was very young for nothing, after all. She shouldered on but those remarks always haunted her. However, she never let it affect her daily life. She may be insecure and maybe some parts of her thinks they're right, but she isn't going to give up her dream.
