So like yeah I love my boys to bits and i love the chemistry ELF & SJ has and I'm always proud to call myself an ELF but sometimes... SOMETIMES it just annoys me.

Like I get it that we're a long running grp with a lot of controversies and stuff but like... guys come on why do u need to keep pointing it out to others who have a different opinion from u in the fandom?

I personally am solely OT13. Not that I don't love Henry & Zhoumi, they're lovely people and I melt a lil inside whenever there are cute interactions b/w them and other members. To me, they are part of the huge suju fam - I kind of see them as some sort of an extended family?? I'm happy to see them performing more and being more involved on Super Shows. But the name Super Junior? It's always gonna be a 13 to me. It's the only number SJ themselves has acknowledged, even till date. "We have 13 members" is something the members still casually say on shows on times when they actually specified a number (other times they go with "many members" "ten plus members" etc) but the only legit, specific number they talk of is 13. And I take that. That's it.

But there's of course other thoughts out there. There are OT13 who are anti zhoumi henry. There are also the 13+2 which is idk sort of weird, seems to follow my extended family idea but like they see them under the label of Super Junior, the group itself. Some are OT15, in which zhoumi henry are totally integrated into the group as far as they are concerned. And of course there are people who doesn't really care about what form SJ takes, they support SJ in any number at any time (I'm kind of like that too haha but 13 is still the optimal for me), basically they support the active members of the group. And there are some slightly more extreme ones who wants certain members out (eg most popular ones will be kangin right now i guess, way back then it was heechul), there are also people who do not see the members who are no longer officially listed with the group as SJ (ie hangeng kibum). Basically a huge lot of variation.

I mean I'm alright with variation, everyone's free to have a mind of their own and that's fine. But what irks me at times is how they like to comment about your stand. I can comment anything related to OT13 and there will CONFIRM be one comment saying, "13+2" or "15 for me though". Like okay I get it, I KNOW YOU GUYS EXIST BUT SERIOUSLY JUST GET OUT. I'm here on youtube to watch sj videos because they're my happy pills and constant in life, stop trying to shove your stand on me. I am OT13 and that's it. I get it that you may feel defensive of your stand and all, but I didn't say anything against Henry and Zhoumi (if I see posts that down right bashes them I will comment too) so what's with you jumping in and letting me know you think I should love 13+2 or 15 or whatever. I stan what I stan, and I'm gonna stan OT13. If I left henry and zhoumi out of my comment, in a video that they didn't even make an appearance anyway (my 13 feels were triggered because the other MC blatantly said "I know all the members even up to Hangeng alright", there was no mention of zhoumi henry if not i would have at least left sth nice about them), and said nothing bad about them, please leave me the alone. Seriously.

On a regular day I won't care but not when I'm stressed over school and projects and whatever bs in general and is on youtube watching suju to relax and not get all annoyed by this seriously.

I love the fandom I really do, but I think we would be much better if we just stop trying to push our stans on the form SJ takes on each other. Stay out of my comment, I've stayed out of yours. We have common people we love. Focus on that.
