Manya has long blonde hair that is natural. Her hair matches her fathers color but her mothers texture. Its course and thick. Her skin is on the darker side but not so much that she loks odd. She is very thin and has thin limbs. She keeps colored contacts over her naturally black eyes.

Manya likes cuter clothes. Her fashion is a mix of Japanese and Russian. She likes bright colors and skirts, yet that doesnt work very well in Russia. She usually wears pants under a skirt with a bright shirt and blazer. Her winter coat is bright pink with a fur color and its long like a dress. Now that she has moved farther south she over heats a lot so she wears thinner, lighter clothing. She has a thing for heeled boots

Manya is a breath of fresh air. Her smile is as bright as the sun and when she is around people tend to feel better. She can have fun with only two people, she doesnt need a huge crowd to entertain herself. She does like to entertain herself too. Having fun is like her number one priority. She also likes to talk. Quite often people have to tell her she is talking too much. Its quite comon for her to be talking to herself when no one will listen either. She seems to never get down at all. She can keep going and going. Early in the morning till late at night she seems to be the energiser bunny of the group. 
Manya graduated high school at fourteen and dd college in three years. She got her bachelors in International Studies and graduated with highest honors. She has all kinds of book smarts but not really may people or street smarts. 
Manya has energy all the time. She never stops, ever. She is either sleeping or going at full throttle. She anoys people all the time. She doesnt try to, she just is set up differantly than others. She has too uch energy for her own good and she is too smart for most people to handle. Its easy to dislike her too. She doesnt seem to be offended by half of what people say about her and the other half she doesnt even realise its a bad thing. Most of the time she is in her own little bubble of happiness. 
Manya is all but terrified of leading. She doesnt want to have the responsiblity of other people and the thought of being the leader makes her ill. She likes following others direction much more.

— how i became me

Manya's parents grew up together and were childhood sweethearts. Everyone knew from the start that they were going to end up together. There was never anyone else for either one. They waited quite a while to have any kids though. Everyone kept waiting but they didnt have kids until they were in their mid fourties and only one girl. 
As a young child Manya was differant than the other kids. She didnt have many friends so she entertained herself other ways. She read a lot and most of them were fairy tales. Fairies were her favorate. She would pretend that she was a fairy and fun around her yard playing. When the other kids in her neighborhood saw her doing this they started making fun of her and harrasing her at school. She started not going to school and staying home. While she was at home she would read. Her parents started to catch on and decided they needed to do something. 
When she was eight Manya was at school and some of the kids from the grade above her cornered her and locked her in a closet. The teachers looked for her for hours and they didnt find her until the next morning. She didnt seem to be bothered with it, she spent most of the time reading, but her parents were horrified. They had been thinking about moving and that made the decision for them. They packed up and moved to Moscow. 
Manya flurished at her new school. She was put in the advanced placement and flew through school. She was granted a scholorship to Mosco State University and flew through that as well. The university offered to let her get another degree but she didnt want to. 
During her studies Manya was intrioduced to Kpop and she was into the hallyu wave. Fer focus at school was South Korea and she was going to go there. It tok a lot of negotiating but she convinced her parents to let her look for a job in Seoul, like an internship. They worked with her university and got her a job working for South Korea in Russian Korean relations. Manya thought she would be doing something important but she was little more than an assistant. More often than not she had to go on coffee runs for others. 
It was on one of those runs when she saw a line of people waiting to get into a building. She went to go see what it was about and someone asked if she was auditioning. She didnt really understand what they asked so she just said yes. They gave her a number and pushed her into the line. The line moved quickly and when Manya got to the front she filled out the paperwork, still confused. When it got to be her turn she just stood bewildered infront of the judges. After a minut of rough translation she realised they wanted her to sing. She was already there so she gave it her best. She had sung growing up but never for people, just for herself. Whenshe was done they told her she could leave and she finished her coffee run. When she got back to the office her boss told her they were eliminating her position. She was bewildered and confused at why. They didnt explain just told her to collect her things. 
A few days later she got an email telling her that she was accepted to Star Entertainment but she didnt even know what that was. She went though, she didnt have anything to lose and she needed something to do. She found out that she had auditioned for an entertainment company by accident, but she wasnt about to tell anyone she didnt mean to.

trainee life — The first few weeks were rough. Manya had no idea what she was even doing and she asked herself why she was going in every morning, but she did. She didnt miss a day. She treated it just like her job. Once she got the hang of things it got better. She met a few people who spoke Japanese and became friends with them. If not for them she wouldnt have gotten anywhere. 
Five months into her training her parents asked to come visit her and see her work. Manya had no idea what to do. She wanted to see her parents but she didnt want them to know she didnt work anymore. One of her freinds came up with the idea to fake it. They were going to change one of the meeting rooms into a office room and show her parents that room. They spent three days on setting the room up and it worked perfectly. Her parents were impressed with her job and her coworkers. 
Star Entertainment made an announcement that there was going to be a new group and that they already had ideas for who they wanted be in said group. Manya didnt even think she would be picked but when she was she couldnt react. She didnt know what to do. She just stood there for a few minutes, slack jawed and wide eyed. After that she squeeled and hugged one of the other girls.
