quick update about ma performance so far

So I'm taking 4 mods this sem and so far I think I'm doing alright

The math for econs course I've been getting a consistent 9 or 10s for the homework (30%) and I think I'll be in the clear since I've never and don't plan on slacking off that - it's the only thing keeping me on my toes lol. My midterms (20%) came back today and I've landed in the A safely as expected. Class part (10%) is an issue since I don't speak up in class much and blatantly sleeps in the front row when prof gets too boring plus I never bring name tents to his class so idk maybe I should buck up on that. Finals will be 40% and he said he'll be very stingy with his grades so damn yes I gotta work hard(er).

My stats is very, very behind - I took the chance to slack since my prof is so damn chill (he dismisses us in 1.5hrs when the class is supposedly 3hrs long wtf). The class part (10%) is bs because no one puts up name tents in his class - half doesnt even attend classes after he made it clear that we can choose to not be present at class except for the last 2 weeks where we'll be having our presentation and quiz lol. The 2 projects (24%) and individual quizzes (18%) is starting but not yet. Finals is 50% with cheatsheet allowed. But I'm so behind in stats wtf I'm totally slacking off this mod, gotta buck up.

BGS my midterms (25%) got a B but there's gonna be the bellcurve so I may actually land higher since the rest screwed up for unknown reasons. My class part (15%) is worrying because I barely spoke up at classes gotta work on that (gotta read the case materials too urgh). Group presentation (10%) is coming and we gotta present some lame scandal fck gotta start researching - and there's half peer assessment too I'm scared. The WR for the population white paper (15%) I have more confidence though, given my human geog background (oh the painstakingly written essays). Finals will be 35% and I swear this time I will read the textbook unlike for the midterms lmao. I've already covered one chapter ain't that process.

I'm enjoying VUCA but it feels like I've been fluffing my way through. Not worried about class part (15%) since I've been dropping useful comments and the prof actually remembers me I'm proud. I'm gonna consult prof for my individual essay (15%) and I already have a idea about how I want it to go. My group's gotten an A the last article presentation (20%) and I think we'll do fine for the second as well. The final case presentation (20%) is in preparation, we'll see where it gets. Finals (30%) will be harder, I think I really need to go back and read the things she's covered because rn they're all fluff and all over the place. I missed one lesson though must catch up on that fml.

Overall I think I'm fine, only thing is my lack of CCA participation that isn't what I expected lol. I'm gonna join a recreational sport next sem promise.
