Who's Socks Are These? (Adventures With My Family)

 

 

 

Me: Who's socks are in the middle of the floor in the living room? (the socks are tiny, pink and white, and very dirty)

Niece #1: Not mine!

Niece #2: They aren't mine!

Niece #3: I don't know who's those are!

Me: *sigh*

My Mom: It must have been the nasties.

Me: *confused* The nasties?

My Mom: Yeah, those little mischievous creatures from Harry Potter that steal your stuff and put it in weird places.

Me: *trying not to laugh* Umm... Nargles?

My Mom: Oh, yeah. That's it... Nargles. What did I call them?

Me: *dies laughing*

 

 

 

 

Hi ( ⌒ ᴗ ⌒ )ﾉ

 

If you follow my blogs, then you know I've been having some trouble in my personal life (- . -;)

 

One of these things is my brother and his family fell on hard times and is now living with my parents and I. It has thrown our entire house into chaos, and has been very stressful for me because 1I am currently staying in a sun 2nook we have off our living room, and can't get away from it all. I've always tried to have a positive attitude and find ways to turn the bad things in my life into something good (⌒_⌒;) so I'm going to be doing a blog series called “Adventures With My Family” where I will share some of the funny or unbelievably crazy things I'm experiencing rn ( ⌒ ヮ ⌒;) I hope you like it!

 

 

1A neighbor has been smoking inside despite this being a nonsmoking building, causing our upstairs to fill up with smoke… which I'm allergic to (´･_･`) This is one of the other issues in my life right now (our landlord is in the process of evicting them, but unfortunately it’s taking a lot of time).

 

2I call it a “nook” and not a “room” because one wall is open into the living room. (which means no door >.< or a way to shut out the noise and chaos)

I hope things get better for you guys soon, but at least everything's not all bad and you have a way to deal with the stress. ^^ Your mom is seriously hilarious though. That time she accepted EXO as an answer and now "the nasties" instead of Nargles. XD

Wow smoking in a nonsmoking area? I would slap a lawsuit onto their face or roll up the lawsuit to make a fire resistant cigarette (it's probably not allowed lol but WHATTTT WHY THAT DUDE IS BREAKING THE LAW).

Aw a nook! That sounds cozy for a little day space but for a room?! Oh my god I hope you at least harbour some smol good feelings for the nook - it deserves all this trouble no less than you do.

And yes, it would be really cute to have a family adventures blog series - it's nice to see people opening themselves up and removing their trust boundaries: makes me feel more welcome and less intimidated. Hope you have a great day and know that I'll be here whenever you need someone to talk to or a good meme session!! :3

Smoking inside the building is a dangerous and stupid thing to do. Hopeully theyre evicted soon!
But seriosudly though... smoking in the building? Is it that hard to step outside or smoke in your room with the door shut and the wibdow open???
