i'm not one who's interested to watch stuff like unpretty rapstar...even though one of my girlgroup biases....miss Ha Jooyeon is in there(better known as Baby J)...but i happen to see clip of her VS Jeon Soyeon from produce 101 who's a pretty charismatic badass but voice dangerously close to be just another chipmunk girlgroup rapper...so i was interested to watch...naturally the majority would all be typically Jeon Soyeon supporter....noobs...what u expect...i remember the day i first became aware of Ha Jooyeon's existence...was just another day in soompi and i clicked on article of Jewelry's new members...Ha Jooyeon n Kim Eunjung...Eunjung quickly received much love for her beauty....but Jooyeon was harshly judged n bashed n ppl even compared her looks to.....let's not get there again....people are nasty....who says only knetz are nasty n looks-obsessed....eh....myth....i actually like her looks...i think she's pretty in a sharp nonconventional by kpop standard way...she's beautiful....and she was already a known rapper before that...she was featured in Seo Inyoung's song i think...but only officially became idol when she joined the group...n through n through she has been featured in random singers' songs countless times i guess...

when SS501 made comeback shortly at the time Jewelry was booming in popularity again with One More Time where they swept so many awards alongside Brown Eyed Girls(it was an epic time bcuz typically ppl would expect only SNSD or WG to do well....but a senior making comeback after long hiatus like jewelry n group known for being faceless group like beg making it to the top just gave me hopes for kpop to idk...be awesome? n for underdogs to riseeee...believe me...their songs were soooo big back then....)

^ oh look...they even had a special stage together...which was epic since both groups were so awesome n classy n what...i get feels watching miryo n jooyeon...miryo n jea were my favs from beg...so yeah....seeing two of your biases rapping together badassly is just...feels...n jooyeon looked so happy here even though her face is hidden under the cap...ahh...i almost want to ship them....

 

...ok back to SS501...since they're kinda the hot stuff at that time...many girlgroup fans would try hard to pair them with their fav girlgroups...especially SNSD...eh...i remember that time...i was a noob SS501 fan n certainly don't fancy that one....but when i heard they'd be featured in Jewelry perf...i was happy for that one....though worried about pairings for dance since jewelry had four members n SS501 got five...i just wanted Jooyeon to pair with any members i liked from SS501...xD...

let's say i was happy...n i kinda lowkey ship kyujong with eunjung after watching how cute they stayed 'faithful' to their partners throughout the dance when other members had theirs switched a bit at some parts....or maybe i didn't notice...the dance isn't coupley anyway....but i find it funny to see Hyunjoong-Seo Inyoung pairing since they were both in We Got Married n Seo Inyoung always showed obsession for him and often referred to him as 'fresh' making her husband n Hyunjoong's wife Hwangbo jealous...on a sidenote...i think Hwangbo is the best wife on WGM n Crown J is the best husband...though...that one is arguable since Crown J kinda spoiled Inyoung way too much....both couples were my fav thugh....so entertaining...if only the real Hyunjoong was the same as we saw in WGM...a lil too oblivious but still....lovable enough though sometimes/or more...i felt that Hwangbo deserved better for being so awezome....

anyway...

Jooyeon has always been styled overily and gaudily or whatev in MVs n perfs or her face would be hidden with caps, shades etc...at least that's how i feel...not so prettily...i guess like any typical rapper would...but she pull off her styles since she's badass n charismatic anyway....i guess i'm already drawn to her when i saw her bullied on the net just for not being your average typical standardized kpop 'beauty'....somehow...i just would naturally drawn to such personalities....i find them tough...cool... for surviving ppl's nastiness bravely...n that's just....damn attractive.....wasn't this the case with Kwanghee when he was well known but underdog that all comments in his articles would be nothing but nastiness? 

when she's dressed down (including makeups) like a normal-ish average person would...she looks really pretty...i like it when she sings too...

i was quite disappointed that she didn't have any singing part when she n Eunjung formed subunit Jewelry S....

she's pretty here too...bias+glasses=<3 haha...

in her idol career she has always been overshadowed by her fellow members' beauty...and now...i had to see all the Jeon Soyeon! comments while barely any for her....i had no choice but to step in...even though i don't really know/care much abt raps...

Then, she left Jewelry shortly before their official disbandment i think....this is one girlgroup who's always supportive of each other even after members leave(okay, maybe not when first few members did)...it's been that way since Park Jungah n Seo Inyoung left n left the group to Eunjung, Jooyeon new members...Jungah n Inyoung always supported their juniors...it's heartwarming to see...especially when girlgroup breakups are often kinda...nasty? or rather....showed that they're just strictly business n that's it. Besides, Jewelry...i feel is a friendly n supportive sunbae too...i noticed Rainbow members were pretty close with Jewelry members and i wondered if it was because of this perf...

yep...they even have collaboration with my girls Rainbow....another girlgroup that got severe hate right from debut...this was probly some tribute stage n Jewelry had appearance in it...Rainbow was a rookie back then....n i guess the show's doing some tribute for songs that greatly impacted the chart....i noticed Rainbow's closeness with Jewelry from their twitter interactions...it made me curious since they're not from same company or same generation but it made me happy anyway...no bashing my Rainbow...

And have i told you that Jooyeon is like friends n supporter of everyone? i keep seeing her promoting this singer that singer this idol that idol whenever they release anything...she's also continuing the caring trait of Jungah n Inyoung by always showing support to her company's juniors...n she's like friends with everyone...yknow...every group would have that kinda member....xD...

speaking of friends...

one of her many buddies turn out to be Kim Hyungjun!!! yep, SS501 maknae n some of his more recent works were under SS301...i was so happy that some reps from my fav groups are friends...n even better...those who're among my fav members...

after she left Jewelry...she had been inactive...

until one day...

Hyungjun released a new song....guess featuring who???!!!! omg!

i don't care...i'm shipping this...though i might be able to ship both of them with a certain other person too...whenever i see their SNS interactions...i always wished they'd collab but never thought it'd really happen? yayyyy thanksss Hyungjunnieee...n i love my Jooyeon playing the badass evil female boss role...although it'd be nice to see a change for once in her image rather than typical one as this...

^ making vid....they're so cute together...though sometimes or more than sometimes i can't stand Hyungjun's tryhardness...he always try too hard to look cool manly and all those it's kinda cringey since yeah....and although i am aware that Hyungjun always has collab with female rappers/singers/etc n this is not first or last...he's probly more interested in younger girls or jungmin anyway...so it's not like i take my ships seriously....i just like their friendship...Jooyeon seems happy to get support from her buddy...

but...

when i saw this....oh...a BtoB guy chose Jooyeon...omgomgomg...!! idk btob much but to have a guy choosing jooyeon is just RARE...though he said she's his nuna's friend...still....why do i feel like i wanna ship? why are my favs so shippable...grr...i'd like to ship her with younger guys too...xD....although if not mistaken Hyungjun is also younger than her...

Anyway....whew...what's the point of this post? nothing much just wanna fangirl n spaazz Jooyeon since i just saw her in Unpretty Rapstar 3...and i was annoyed at how little love she's getting n how everyone just go mention Jeon Soyeon...blah...what do i expect? for underdog awesomeness to ever be recognized n acknowledged by kpop fans...? 10 years in...still hasn't happen....not about to happen anytime soon for sure...

 

i keep losing it while trying to get back into writing...maybe i found a new muse to start something new? even before this...in 'Love Coach Marriage Agency'....she's one of the 'clients'...and her issue was about wanting to find someone to marry who will see her pretty enough for them....because of her self consciousness of her looks...too bad i never got to develop her story since i discontinued the fic already....maybe i should start a new fic just to focus on her part...like spinoff...?....and in Unlock the Devil Fourever....she was sent into the story as the senior badass devil hunter, older sister of the main devil hunter in the fic...it was unplanned...i just get feels n figured a cool addition would be nice...i wrote Maeng becuz the backstory in Unlock made me want to write more of her n Maeng backstory but i keep losing it....sigh...oh well...

i like the song but i don't like how Yewon got wayy too much screentime with Hyungsik n Jooyeon n Semi hardly got any...n is it just me or the song sound like something a hardcore fan would sing/feel towards their oppar dating some other girl? bcuz really...
