   who are you?

personality traits.  Friendly, Caring, Diligent, Nosy, Stubborn, Perfectionist

personality.

Yeorang is very friendly and energetic, even prior to becoming the class representative. She had it in her mind not to descriminate and to treat every one equally, causing her not to have any super close friends. After being elected as class representative, she has even more reason to check in on people and caring for them. She is seen as a diligent fellow by most people in her class and lots of them think highly of her as she takes her responsibility of being the class representative very seriously. She would even go to certain lengths as to send out reminders for important assignments and upcoming class events.

Sadly, there are times where she comes off as nosy and pushy when she can't stop meddling around other people's business. The fact that she is so stubborn to get things right and to understand more about her calssmates can be a little bit too overbearing at times too. Not to mention, she brings herself stress as her perfectionist side can't help but want alot of things done flawlessly and she could get rather annoyed if things don't go as perfectly as she hoped it would be. She's still working to accept the fact that she doesn't have to be the best, just her own very best.

background.

Yeorang grew up in a big house with her younger brother and the house staffs. Her parents always worked and rarely have time to spend with any of the children. Yeorang knew however, that they loved her and her brother, they just have to work that's all. Her family isn't overly rich, but they're somewhere there, so that's why the parents are working harder than ever, just so that they could finally reach the point where they can give the very best to their children. Sure, Yeorang admits that she longs for her parents to be there but she also respects them greatly for their hardwork to give her and her brother the best.

Being the oldest sibling, Yeorang quickly picks up the responsibility to care for her little brother.  Back when they were kids, Yeorang would always force her housemaids to teach her how to cook and how to do the chores so she could learn to be independant. There's a four years between them but they are very very close. She loves her family very much and would go to great lengths for them, especially her young brother. She has this urge to shelter him from every single evil of the world and for him to be as happy and joyful as he could be.

Going to highschool broke her heart as she has to seperate from her brother. She's very much afraid that he would be lonely and no one would be there for him as he go through life. Though, she did get some assurance from the letters the house staffs would send her. Normally, she would return to her home to visit see her brother during the weekends. Her younger brother does feel a bit smothered by her love and complains to her most of the time that she's spoiling him but he himself never admits  that he actually likes the attention his sister gives him and cares for her alot, making him a bit protective of her.

Yeorang would always naturally care for people after that many years of taking care of her brother and since she used to go to a small school where most people knew each other and were on friendly terms with everyone, she appeared to be 'friendlier' than any other kids in highschool. There is no denial that Yeorang has her own charm and that led to people picking her as class representative, which caused her sense of responsibility to grow even more. She sometimes strives for perfection and that would cause her to be stressed out at times. However, there was one guy who caught the so called 'strong class rep' crying, and offered her an advice that she won't forget - "You don't have to strive to be the best, just be your best, that's enough".

That boy was Doyun. Since then, Yeorang starts to notice him way more and guiltily, she stares at him more than she should, especially when she ended up being in the same class as him during second year. She was not blinded by her feelings and could see how Doyun is a bit messed up in his own way, it's a shame the courage she usually has to be nosy and pushy vanished when facing Doyun, the only guy she wants to impress. She's had feelings for him for about one year by now but never confessed or anything, treating him almost the same as all her other classmates. Her affections for him were subtle and she simply was the girl who he never truly cared about.

what do you like? & who do you know?

–dislikes ::

yellow colour (it hurts her eyes and will be irritable if she sees too much of it), clowns (It's because of their horrible sense of fashion and their damn creepy smile), fountains (she fell into one once and almost drowned), koala bears (They creep her out and she used to have nightmares about the animal staring at her nonstop), Christmas carols (Her disliking is highly influenced by the fact that there was a crazy clown horror movie she watched that uses lots of Christmas carols as background music)

– hobbies ::

Cooking (she showed an interest in this since she was a kid), stalking information gathering (at first it's simply just because she's the class rep, now she finds it fun to be observant to her surroundings and update herself with the latest news, she's good at being subtle)

Eavesdropping people's conversation (sometimes not on purpose actually), Fiddles with her fingers when nervous, Has a tendency to nag people she's close to.

–  facts ::

Faceclaim is the Korean British solo-singer Shannon Williams, she is allergic to roses, likes to collect wristbands, favorite anime is Natsume Yuujinchou, she sometimes think that zombies are cute, she is really bad at singing.

relationships.

– father :: Shin Wonsuk (42) / Doctor / Calm, Protective, Perfectionist / 6.5/10 / He doesn't interact much with Yeorang or Yeosung because he's usually working in the hospital. The man is calm and collected but at the sight of Yeorang beaming, he can't help but crack a smile. He has a soft spot for his family, especially Yeorang and tends to show her more affection than he shows Yeosung. This however, doesn't mean that he loves one more than the other. Yeorang would sometimes call him by his phone and report to him how life has been for the two siblings home alone, and he would always soften up when he hears his daughter's voice. Yeorang sees her daddy as someone she wants to grow up as - someone strong and independant.

– mother :: Suzzane Yoon Sera (40) / Dotor / Warm, Responsible, Caring / 7/10 / Yeorang does actually meet her mother more than her father a bit since her mother would go to great lengths to find a way to spend time with them. Yeorang loves it when her mom comes back home for a while because that would mean she could eat her mother's wonderful cooking. Although Yeorang has been the one in charge when the two siblings are left alone, she can't deny the fact that she loved being cared for by her mother. Somehow, that also inspires Yeorang to show the same care to other people so that they may experience the happiness she had when she was cared by her mother.

– younger brother :: Shin Yeosung (13) / student / Energetic, Blunt, Determined / 8.5/10 / She spent most of her time before highschool caring for this little dude and he spent most of his childhood thinking that his older sister is magical. Yeorang and Yeosung are very very close to each other, though that does not make Yeosung girly or anything, she's like a mother figure to him, heck, there are even times in childhood where he views her as a father figure as well. Yeorang got her bubbliness from Yeosung and he got his 'never-give-up' attitude from Yeorang, both of the siblings have quite an , but they felt like twins. Yeorang always visits during the weekends and that explains why the weekends are his favorite out of the week. They practically tell each other everything, though sometimes Yeorang has to force certain information out of him. He sees her as a parental figure and the person he admire the most in the world.

   the interview

"what do you feel about our school?"

" Well... my parents say it's the best out of the best. Not that I doubt them or anything, but there are times I feel that the way the teachers teach are quite dead. To me, school , but education is important. What I mean is, if they gave the students to express and learn for themselves freely and creatively, it would have been a better learning environment. I hope my brother won't be coming here because this restricting system is really bad for his brain."

"what did you think when you got our letter?"

"I'll admit to you, it's not a 'what', but a 'who' instead. *blushes*. *Clears throat* I-I mean, it's nice to have a closer group of people who you could trust and have fun wrecking the school with. Sure, I'm Class Rep and it might seem that I like the school and all but in true honesty, I just want my classmates to be able to enjoy their highschool life. Like in those youthful highschool romance animes I watch."

"what can you provide the club?"

"Uhh... moral support? *laughs out loud at the twins speechlessness* Kidding! I'm  goood at information gathering. You see, I have this ntebook where I write down stuffs about other people so that I could refer to them later since I'm class rep and all, if you need any info, just ask me. I would gladly use my observation skills to help the club out."

"the dragonfly club is a stupid name right? tell dori to change it".

"Actually, I think it's quite a cool name ahaha. Something about nature just calms me, including insects."

"oh go jump of a bridge doyun!  do you swear to not tell anyone about the club and never betray us?" .

"*frowns when mentioning doyun jumping a bridge* *dori stares at her with raised eyebrows* *clears throat* I-I swear it, cross my heart and hope to die."

"then i may welcome you, little dragonfly"

"*beams* Pleasure is all mine."

 Chen  (Kim Jongdae)

back up. Byun Baekhyun
personality.

Chen's family isn't nearly as rich as most of the kid in highschool and he depends on his mainly on his good grades to keep him in the institute. One might think a guy with a background such as his would be humble, but how wrong it is indeed for you to assume so. He's rather rude and arrogant, at times sadistic even. However, he doesn't show any of his real personality out. In front of everyone, he is deemed as the class-clown, always the guy to make the atmosphere light and fun. He will come off as mischievous and charming at the same time, making him a people magnet. He has it in mind to gain people's trust and use it when needed. As in, pretending to forget to bring money and guilt-tripping you to borrow him without needing him to return it.

Truth is, he's a manipulative sly jerk who craves money and power. Every single cent he borrowed from you is kept in his savings for his future. Funny thing is, you won't even know you're being manipulated by this guy. His current aim would be winning Jung Dori's trust. Doyun is already one of his best buds, Dori however isn't as trusting as Doyun. If he could get both the Jung twins wrapped around his fingers, he would be one of the most influential people in school.  Doyun  treats Chen as a brother he never had and Chen was probably one of the few (or the only one) non-member that knew about the club existance. Can't blame him since Doyun would blabber about how excited he is about it nonstop.

love story.

When Chen was told by Doyun that he was sadly not allowed to be in the club without his sisters' permission, he almost threw a tantrum and blew his cover in front of Doyun, keyword: almost. One day, Chen accidentally bumped into Yeorang. She was in a hurry and left after a quick apology, without noticing that her notebook fell. Out of curiousity he read the notebook filled with information of people and realized that based on how much info she has on the twins, she's one of the club members. Now that he realized how golden the opportunity was for him, he decided to use her as his wingwoman, making a deal to her that he'll help her get closer to  Doyun while threatening her that if she refuses to help him, her secret crush won't be a secret anymore.

Yeorang finds nothing charming about him and sees him as one of the few people she wished she never met. She found herself conversing with Dori a lot and getting close to her after being forced to feed Chen with information about Dori. Chen on the other hand trains her to be a lady suiting to Doyun's taste. Her goal in all is to make sure Dori's impression of him would change into a good one while Chen's goal is to get Doyun to take an interest in Yeorang.

The turning point is when Yeorang actually stood up for Chen when Dori was warning her about him, thus, also making Dori's impression on Chen changed for the better. Though Chen is manipulative and usually not caring to other people, he found himself getting  touched on how sincere Yeorang actually sounded when she stood up for him, especially when she knew his true self isn't as charming as everyone says. He compliments her for being a good 'pet', probably the best one he ever had.

Yeorang was at first uncomfortable and quite scared around Chen, but after that incident, she finds herself being more comfortable around him when she realize though he is ambitious, he wouldn't go too far to hurt anyone for his ambitions. To her, Chen is seen to be independant and prone to be like a lone-wolf. Knowing he doesn't have real friends he could count on makes her natural caring side appear often around him, sometimes nagging him, and though he rolls his eyes alot when she does that, he actually enjoys being cared for and shows his appreciation towards her in various but subtle ways.

status. They're each other's wingman and wingwoman. Later though, Chen calls her his 'pet', demanding her to be loyal to him only. Soon, he finds himself a little bit attached to her, liking the fact that he didn't always have to pretend to be nice around her. As for Yeorang, although intensely hating Chen at first, she finds herself simply pitying him later and being sympathetic of him. She finds his ambitious side quite admirable at times, though still questioning his way of achieving his ambitions. Later on, she sees Chen as one of the few people with the kindest hearts, though he only selective shows it out.

ending.

Yeorang claims that she'll finally give up on Doyun and instead will put her whole focus on her studies and enjoy her youth while it lasts. After teasing the girl for sounding like an old ahjumma, he tells her that he might pursue music afterall in the future. He then confesses that he hopes she chooses to be a manager or something like that in the future, claiming that he wouldn't want the only person who could tolerate him slip away. He admits he has feelings for her and regardless of what she thinks, he say he's going to 'woo' her. Obviously this cause Yeorang to burst out laughing, wondering who even uses the word 'woo' these days. She then confesses that she might have feelings for him as well and it's growing. He shushed her up and plans to traditionally win her over like asking her out on dates and any other romantic gestures possible, wanting to be the one to show her the equal amount of care she showed him.

   APPle-piggy : A-chan

last words.  Yo, I think this is a really cool idea and I absolutely love highschool settings for applyfic, a little slice of life is always fun. Not to mention, pranking people and such would be so fun . ;)

scenes request

– As Chen trains Yeorang to be not so jumpy while making skinship, he finds it amusing that she blushes so easily and likes teasing her for it, getting a laugh every single time the girl gets flustered. However, he ends up feeling embarrassed himself later.

– Chen describes Doyun's ideal type of woman is someone sophisticated, y and hard-to-get. He explains to her that Doyun likes the chase. Although, that's not her real personality, she takes note of that. Perhaps later in the story, when Doyun start approaching her more and more because of how Chen keeps mentioning she's a good match for Doyun, Yeorang tries her best to be the girl Chen describes and surpsingly it worked. Since later in the story, Chen is more comfortable around her, she immediately reports to Chen of how proud he should be towards her because she scored a date with Doyun. Chen however, comments that she might not be suited for Doyun afterall, getting them into a fight. Actually, Chen says so because he still thinks that the caring and understanding Yeorang is much better than what he describe Doyun's ideal type is. She however sees this as a challenge to make sure the date is 'perfect'.

– Doyun forgets about the date he casually asked her out and cancels it last minute when she calls him. Yeorang comes back to Chen and told him about it, he jokingly says 'puppy finally decided to return to real master, aye?', and she ends up crying, admitting that he was right and she was probably not for Doyun. Chen awkwardly tries to console her yet ended up sounding super fake and nice. However, this did make Yeorang laugh since it's weird on how Chen was suddenly being 'nice' and all. That was the first time he realized how pretty she is when she laughs.

–  If Doyun has a love interest, make him tell Chen about it. Chen told Yeorang, though later regretting it because Yeorang decided to go on full stalker mode and stalk the said love interest. Yeorang convinced Chen to tag along with her to stalk the girl Doyun's talking about, claiming that it would be good to observe what type of girl he likes. Yeorang and Chen however ends up goofing around and having quite a fun time together and though neither of them admits it, they enjoyed each other's company very much that day. Maybe in the end she even brings him along to visit her little brother, and ends up meeting the parents as well since they got a day off. Chen felt out of place but was warmly welcomed thanks to Yeorang. I think Yeosung won't be happy to see that his older sister brought back a dude, though....

– Dori admitting to Yeorang that she thought Yeorang and Chen were a couple until she realized Yeorang has a crush on Doyun. Yeorang freaked out but Dori assures her she won't tell Doyun a thing. Dori however tells Yeorang that she ships Chen and her.

– Chen admitting that he likes to sing but does not plan to pursue music at all because although he enjoys it, it's rather risky and the income is not stable.

– Chen covering for her when she was on a mission to gather some information about people and almost got caught doing so.

– Yeorang asks Chen his real name and he hesitantly tells her, insisting that she continues calling him 'Chen' instead. Later on, when she accidentally blurts out his name while talking to him in front of Doyun, Doyun secretly tells her that Chen only tells people he trusts his real name. When asked about his real name, Chen admits to Yeorang that he hates it because it reminds him of his poor family background that he doesn't want to remember.

– Maybe a dragonfly club outing? ;) To celebrate a hard mission well done?  Maybe even stargazing together at the end.

– Maybe the members could make a surprise birthday celebration for their twin leaders. :3

–  A lot and A LOT of interactions between the dragonfly members. ;) I'd like to see the chaos that they are able to produce together. :3 I'm so excited to see how individual characters act around each other.
