Sora carries herself with full confidence and grace. She is usually seen with a smile on her face and it makes her even more approachable. Sora might look average, but she oozes out an aura almost like an angel's, letting a lot of people fall for her innocent and kind look. She gives some people a feeling of an older sister at times, where she would always appear oh-so-understand and kind.

However, her real self is really different from how she wants to be seen. She is a little bit rough and unladylike. For those who has seen her without her plastic smile, will think that she definitely has a resting face. The fact that she deems herself classy and how truly prideful she is will make you (falsely) think that she's a spoilt princess. Apparently, you can't judge a book by it's cover at all.

Her parents like to fit her in all those figure-hugging dresses with all those annoying fabric that feels so uncomfortable on her skin. (+) Sora is friendly towards most people she meet. She likes to make people feel comfortable around her, hoping that others feel like they belong somewhere when they are with her. Her friendliness is the very reason why a lot of people approach her and why they all deem her as one of the few most accepting people in the school.

(+) Another thing you should know about Sora is that she is extremely diligent. Once she sets a certain goal for herself to achieve, she will most definitely work her off just for the said goal. Sora is a firm believer that you will reap what you sow. This personality of hers makes her succeed in getting good grades and completing projects well.

(+) Other than that, Sora is spontaneous when it comes to a lot of things. Her spontaneity causes her to be quick-witted and this makes conversations with her never boring. Being spontaneous, it isn't hard for her to adapt to random situations thrown in her way, making her deal things rather calmly most of the time.

(+) Lastly, Yoon Sora is someone who is loyal to her very core. Once you've earned her trust, she won't hesitate to fight for your name. Her loyalty really knows no boundary and you should be really careful not to break the trust she has for you or things will never be the same ever again.

(-) If you know Sora personally, you could definitely see that she has a serious perfectionist complex. Although achieving something great is a good thing to want, Sora takes it to another level where she doesn't know her own limits. When she fails at something, she sees it as a proof that she didn't do her best and would beat herself up for it. Not to mention, being a perfectionist means that she wouldn't want to admit mistakes she made and would stick to bad situations longer than she should have.

(-) Sora could also be very self-centred, caring more about her own survival compared to others. Sora would always calculate the pros and cons every actions cost her and this enables her to pick the 'perfect' solution towards everything, her main purpose being to benefit herself only. She would go to great lengths to make sure she benefits the most in situations. Though, that doesn't mean that she would go stooping as low as to making sure others fail in their own journey, she just cares for herself more than others, that's all.

(-) Not only she is self-centred, Sora can get really prideful at times. She doesn't like it when you hurt her womanly pride and although she doesn't snap immediately, you could get a small glimpse of her passive-aggressive nature. She is also really independant to a fault and she usually doesn't seek help from other people, not even those close to her.

(-) To be honest, she is really insecure about herself and sadly, she lets this insecurity of hers define herself. A lot of things she does is to hide away the insecurities she has. She fears that her small flaws would cause people to run away, seeing that her parents did emphasize on making everything flawless.

In a nutshell: Sora acts all 'perfect' and 'nice' on the outside to cover up all her flaws. She'll never reveal anything about herself to anyone and hates it when people pry too much in her life. She is convinced that the only way to be accepted and to be worthy of people's attention is to be 'perfect' enough. She loves compliments and does everything to make people think highly of herself. Despite all of that, she has a nice side to her where she doesn't like seeing other people being left out and alone (as that reminds her of herself when she was younger). Not to mention, she could be really loyal to the ones that really matters (remembering small details like their birthdays or what is their favorite food). In all, Sora isn't all that black and white, she's far more complicated than she appears.

Sora grew up in a rich family and is the youngest daughter of the household. She used to be ignored when she was a child because her parents paid full attention towards her older sister, Sera. Sora noticed how Sera is unhappy by their parents' pressure on her becoming a 'perfect' child and pities her for it, but deep inside, Sora also wished that their parents would pay her some attention too. Then, as if her wish was heard, her parents gave up on her older sister completely, shifting their focus to Sora instead. Liking the attention and love her parents are showing her, she worked rather hard to please her parents, becoming the so-called 'perfect' child they always wanted - ladylike, smart and all that jazz. Sora was actually very happy with the way she lived until one day her older sister was suspected for murder. Though Sora believed that her older sister wouldn't even do such a thing, their parents unfortunately thought differently and refused to even visit her older older sister. Thankfully, the police found out the real culprits and let her older sister off the hook. However, after that incident, her oloder sister wasn't how she used to be.

Sora's older sister completely shut everyone out and locked herself in her own room. Their parents didn't bother much about it, just as long as Sora continued on being the 'perfect' child they wanted. In truth, Sora felt really bad for Sera and longs to be closer to her sister than they are right now. Whenever their parents threatened to kick Sera out, Sora would always beg her parents not to do so or maybe even distract them by flaunting her achievements of the day. Unfortunately, Sora's hardwork goes to waste when their parents finally kicked her older sister out of the house. Although it seemed lioke things has gone bad, it's quite the contrary actually. Sora occassionally calls her older sister to talk and although the conversations are usually awkward, they're able to communnicate freely to each other compared to before when the parents won't get between the two of them. If Sora were to be honest, she preferred life to be the way it is right now, where her parents' attention is directed to her while she is able to communicate with her older sister. She convinces herself that things are best left the way it is now but still harbors a wish that her family could reunite again one day.

Most people call her Jia for short and she's a transfer student from China. Her Korean isn't too bad since her mother is one. She found it hard to fit in highschool at first but opened up and became friendlier after Sora approached her. Although Sora doesn't really reveals her true nature to anyone in school, Jia is one of the few who knows how much Sora strives to be accepted, it just shows. Jia is usually supportive of Sora and would be someone Sora usually turns to when she gets too stressed. Jia cherishes Sora as good friend and Sora appreciates that Jia doesn't pry much in her business yet still affords to cheer her up when needed.

Older Sister / Yoon Sera / 23 / Gamer-YouTuber

Both sisters care for each other a lot but finds it hard expressing their care. Sora usually has to initiate the call, but she doesn't really mind doing so because she likes talking to Sera. Sera is quieter and more distant than she was before but they could talk really comfortably with each other at times. Sora likes talking to Sera because its nice to talk to someone other than her parents that demand perfection and her school mates who already see her as a walking sign of perfection.

He is rarely at home. However, when he is at home, he would always ask on Sora's academic progress and how she's been acting lately. He doesn't really care much for his children as he has his company to care for but since he has a name to be taken care of, he expects Sora to do her best as well. She is usually the one at home and she tends to control Sora far more than how her husband does. She doesn't like it when thigns doesn't go her way and expects full obedience from the children. Sora was actually a mistake since she forgotten to take her birth control pills, and so was originally ignored. However, when Sera failed to be good enough in her and her husband's eyes, Sora surprisingly was far much better than Sera. This woman loves to flaunt about their family wealth and sometimes brags about Sora in front of her rich friends.

Sehun is usually quiet. He doesn't like to bull much and is very blunt when it comes to expressing his opinions. He is smart but likes to sleep during classes, not liking the very fact that he has to attend public school anyways. In case you haven't noticed, Sehun has a problem with socializing with his peers and prefers going solo. Despite his cold demeanor, he could be really soft and affection (teasing even) when you're someone he deems worthy. He doesn't have much friends, but the ones who he calls 'friend' are those that he trusts. Then, although Sehun appears to be stoic most of the time, he actually has a kind and helpful heart. He is really soft on the inside and does have feelings even though he doesn't look like it. In fact, he is pretty sensitive when it comes to his own feelings, preferring to hide them away.

Oh Sehun met Yoon Sora even before Hagwon. Apparently both of their parents are friends and so they were introduced since they were going to the same highschool anyways. By then, none of them cared much about the other but who knew they would've come to dislike each other so much in this present day.

It all started during their second year in highschool, where both of them were classmates. Sora was being herself when she was talking to her classmates and when one of them pulled Sehun into the conversation, he bluntly stated that Sora had a plastic face. Rumours then went out that Sora did plastic surgery and people made fun of her for it (which isn't true and isn't what Sehun truly meant but oh well). He actually apologized to her later on about it, telling her that he couldn't stand being in front of someone so fake. The high that the other students get by making fun of Sora soon died down as it was Korea and it was very common to get surgery. Ever since his apology to her, she has made it very clear that she dislikes him while he himself tries to avoid being near her as he feels uncomfortable being near someone so manipulative.

Unfortunately, both of them not only suffer each other's presence in highschool, but also Hagwon (both their parents seem to want something to happen lol) they even had to sit near each other in classes. Although it seemed like the end of the world to both of them, they managed to ignore each other, each doing their own thing - Sora appearing as flawless as she usually is and Sehun not really caring much about his surroundings.

It all changed when Sehun caught Sora crying after school, just before they head to Hagwon. Sora thought Sehun would've left just like that, not that she was worried or anything because it's not likely that Sehun will tell anyone about her crying. Surprisingly, he instead offered to walk together with her to Hagwon. Nothing was said until the very end of their walk. Heck, for the days later on, they continued their usual routine. Sora, however, found herself no longer disliking Sehun and when she finally thanked him for accompanying her, he simply admitted that she was much better off without her plastic face. Sora still kept her distance from Sehun in school but when they're in Hagwon, she approaches him and genuinely tries to be his friend. Sehun on the other hand did not avoid her and opened up to her, though having quite a hard time doing so as he is never good in expressing himself in words than actions.

Previously, the most they did was to glare at each other (Sora did most of the glaring part while Sehun remained stoic and indifferent). Honestly, Sehun hated the fact that she was so plastic. it reminded him of his biological mother who cheated on his father (he has a stepmom now). Sora on the other hand, envied Sehun as he seemed to always have freedom and the ability to be blunt to others no matter what. Later on, when Sora initiates a friendship with Sehun, she was able to be herself in front of Sehun. He didn't act surprised or anything when she wasn't her usual 'flawless' self, in fact, he encouraged it. Before, when Sehun saw Sora crying, he realized she was just another individual who was struggling to meet up to the expectations of the world and emphatize with her. After getting to know the real Sora and her little quirks, he found himself enjoying her company very much, opening up to her and loosening up (such as being more sarcastic) around her.

Both of them gave balance to each other in the sense where Sora pulls Sehun into situations that involve interacting with others and looking out for your own image while Sehun brings Sora to a private realm where she is allowed to be herself once a while. They became inseperable and soon developed feelings for one another. Sehun accepts it calmly and starts to be more affectionate in his own quiet way through his actions, while for Sora, she acknowledges it but refuses to do anything about it as it might possibly be a stepping stone between her and achieving the best for her parents. It's hard ignoring her feels for him, especially when he appears to be more affectionate than usual or when he does that eye smile of his.

• Apparently, both of them have parents that pressure them constantly and while Sora obeys to her parents' orders like a puppy, Sehun is more like an independant cat who doesn't want to take orders from anyone, often acting cold and indifferent towards his parents. Sora honestly finds Sehun stupid to not want his parents approval of him, but yet at the same times sees this point of his admirable. Sehun on the other hand, wishes for Sora to understand that love and care shouldn't be bought by achievements.

- The foodie and the cook -

• Sehun likes to bring his own lunchbox to eat before classes because he prefers his own cooking compared to outside food. Usually, Sora who has a big apetite would stare at the food he eats, looking away immediately when he noticed. Later on, when they became friends, Sora openly expresses that she wants to try his food. Thus, since then, he brings along two lunchboxes for both himself and Sora. He finds it cute when she asks for his portion after finishing her own.

- Bringing out both the best and the worst -

• Sehun tends to be more expressive around Sora, even before they became friends as he openly shows his discomfort around her. Sora sees Sehun as someone who accepts her for who she is, she is slowly but surely learning from Sehun to care about the opinions of not everyone, but only those who matters. There are times Sehun gets a little bit possessive of Sora, especially when he realizes he has feelings for her. He honestly wishes to have her by his own self and gets especially annoyed when she's all over the maths teacher. Sora on the other hand seems to be oblivious to this side of his and instead tend to justify Sehun, seeing him almost as the only person she truly needs. At times, Sehun will tell her to avoid some people and she might or might not actually care about his warning, but nevertheless, she is rather biased when it comes to Sehun.

- Shattered dreams we harbor -
• Sora loves art while Sehun wants to be a dancer, both harboring dreams that their parents don't approve of and both fearing the future if they happen to pursue their dreams. Sehun and Sora often talk about their dreams with each other and all the endless possibilities. The topic of the future is a topic most discussed by them. They honestly don't mind doing any job given to them, just as long they can have whatever is their passion close with them in the future.

- 'Random fact of the day' -
• After exchanging numbers and being more on a friendly term, they tell each other about something random that happened to them. Sora initiated it once and since Sehun gave a reply and offered his own 'random fact of the day', it became a routine for them.

Lol, like srsly, another apply fic? xD Tsk tsk, I guess I'm guilty for applying too ahahahaha. Loving the idea (like always) and schoolau applyfics are one of my few fav fics to apply to. <3 Ehehe, if you realized it, Sora is the younger sister to Sera, the character I used to apply to You Next Door. ;) It's up to you whether their family relationship gets better and also whether she's gonna end up with Sehun or not.

• Both family having a dinner together. Sora's parents be like boasting about Sora while Sehun's parents started comparing both of them and demanding Sehun to get his attittude right. Apparently, it didn't end well when Sehun coldly walked away. Maybe Sora could go after him or talk to him later on about it and telling him that she sure as hell doesn't want him to be anything like her.

• Sora accidently blurts out sarcastic remarks or weird puns while having classes in Hagwon out loud, causing most students to scnicker and laugh. Some comment they didn't she had it in her to be anything but nice. Starts to open up to students in Hagwon, believing that Sehun was the cause of her change.
