So this is actually a game that me and Maerin (taemeilin_) were playing whereby one person writes a sentence and the other continues it. We originally wanted her to write fluff, as I wrote angst. But three sentences in and she got too many angst feels. So I changed to crack~ And the result is actually... pretty interestinggg.. It's legit enough to be made into a blog post. And there shall be more chapters too later, probably. Hahahahahha.. We hope you shall enjoy this random but quite legit story. Even the title is made by each of us saying a random word. XD

Melody | Maerin | Winny (?) 

They were playing video games, she was sitting between his arms and back against his chest, clicking away at the remote control in her hands. At least, that was how it was suposed to be when he was still there. She remembered the way he used to lean his head on hers, telling her how he loved the shampoo she used. Except for the one time when her shampoo smelled like actual dog poo, he did not like that. But he hugged anyways and helped her rewash her hair because he knew she was too lazy. But one day he discovered she had fleas. She laughed at the memory, cause he had mistaken dandruff for fleas. He was quite stupid actually, thinking it was raining fleas from the sky when it began to snow during winter. But she loved the way he looked so intrigued, it almost invited her to be interested in the snow like he was.

But now he was gone, and all she had left of him was his mismatched pair of socks. She'd keep them by the door on the shoe rack like he used to. The smelly scent of his sweaty feet still lingered in the air, but she was unwilling to wash away their memories. She'd always let her gaze linger on those pair of socks longer than necessary as she arranged the shoes on the rack.

"When I wake up in my room, room!" Ho Seok, her comedy relief friend, suddenly entered the room, echoing himself for a more dramatic effect. She looked at him with a bitter sweet smile, sadness tinted her glazed eyes.

""Fireeeee.. oohhhhh~" Ho Seok continued as he walked right into his room, not noticing her presence. She laughed and shook her head at her friend, he was always so into his jams he wouldn’t know if the world was ending.

Indeed, he had no idea when their world ended and started turning grimmer than it already was. It was only when the scream of his friend broke his attention away from his music that he realized how the sky had taken on an ashy green with little to no light shining through the thick clouds. 

Ho Seok rushed out of his room, seeing a dark hooded figure floating midair as he towered over his friend who had fallen to the ground. His instincts told him to run but it felt as if his feet were nailed to the ground as his legs trembled in fear, not allowing him to move an inch.

The dark figure looked up, noticing his presence when he breathed a short gasp.

"This is the end of the human reign, the Gods are angered and wrathful," the being's monstrous voice echoed through the house causing the entire house to tremble, bringing Ho Seok to his knees.

He was so scared he farted. It didn't go unnoticed by the terrifying figure, though.

"Hmm~~ What is that smell? I love it," the monstrous voice took on a feminine pitch as it spoke.

"Not now Fartia," the monstrous voice returned, seemingly acknowledging the other soul within the figure. 

Ho Seok watched the figure argue with itself, seeing an opportunity to go find his friend. He cautiously stood up and dashed for the nearest exit. Apparently there was no time to save her, so he ditched her. He regretted his decision when he realized she could have been a potential human shield, but it was too late.

"Ho Seok, wait!" 

A familiar voice caused the boy to whip his head back and forth to the person it belonged to.

He saw the pavement splitting, road cracking, and the path  swallowed by the earth. Steam arose from the deep crack in the ground and Ho Seok could only imagine what was down there. So he had to go and find out.

"By the power of Kerkion, God of immortality, I ask for invincibility as I venture to the depth of the earth," Ho Seok recited with an arm in the air, "Kerkion, grant me your power!"

"N to the a to the no no no," Kerkion replied mightily.

"Please almighty Kerkion! I need your strength to find out what is happening at the earth's core," Ho Seok pleaded

"You don't need strength, you need knowledge.. Edge.. Edge..," Kerkion also had the habit of echoing his words for a dramatic effect.

Ho Seok fell to his knees, "Then teach me, Lord Kerkion!"

"Everything is in this guidebook, chapter 31, page 3," Kerkion made a book appear in front of the guy.

Ho Seok read the page out, word for word, "Twerk it like Miley."

"Oh sorry, I meant chapter 32."

Ho Seok shot the sky a look before proceeding to read, "The key to vast knowledge is to be reborn. To be reborn, you must let it all go and move to an icy snow castle in a far away land where you must shave your head and look for Kerkion beyond worldly boundaries."

"Now go shave your head boy oy oy" said Kerkion in his echoed voice.

Ho Seok sighed in frustration but complied and began on his journey to the icy barren mountain. He hated the fact he was only dressed in a thin tanktop and Hawaiian short pants, leaving his winter gear back at home. So, he called upon the God of perseverance, Akeron, to help through the harsh journey. And Akeron responded by giving Ho Seok a travel friend.

"Hi, I'm Olaf!" the adorable snowman introduced himself to Ho Seok.

"Hi, I'm Ho Seok," the guy then introduced himself.

"Hey, you look like you came from a sunny place with those clothes. What's summer like?" Olaf asked with an excited glint in his eyes.

"The opposite of the place we're heading to," Ho Seok answered sternly, as he gazed into the far off distance to start their journey.

"I've never seen the opposite.. But I've always imagined it~" Olaf was dazed by the thought of summer and broke out in a song.

"Dude, the first chapter ended. I was already staring in the far off distance," Ho Seok interrupted the snowman, once again trying to end the chapter as he dramatically looked into the far off distance.

"Well my song can be the intermission," Olaf smiled brightly before his nose fell off and he scrambled to pick it back up.
