BACKGROUND. song bobae was born to song sihoon and joo boram on august 8. bobae was one month early and gave her parents a rather large fright as boram went to the toilet, stood up, saw blood and screamed. they still laugh about it, saying that bobae has been someone who makes life exciting even before birth. as a toddler she had already showed troublemaking tendencies, shooting balls of spit at teachers and using markers to scribble on peoples' shirts. the girls kicked her in the skin and babbled to the teachers while the boys laughed, grabbed their own marker, and tried to scribble on bobae as well. that was the start of bobae being one of the 'guys'. as a tween she was the one who stood in the corridor surrounded by a bunch of the opposite as she screeched at them, pulled their hair, kicked them and it wasn't a surprise when she actually ended up fighting in the corridor. not just flirtatious fighting, but genuine punches were thrown. and even after all that, they were all still friends.
but as soon as she stepped foot into middle school, the rumours started flying around and hate messages were stuffed into her cubicle every other day. while she still laughed through her school days and didn't show how much it affected her by shrugging whenever an insult was thrown at her, she was still hurt by everyone labelling her as a gumiho, when really, she just saw them all as friends. as boram was a professional dancer, she encouraged bobae to express her feelings through dance. she did, and ended up taking hiphop lessons when she was eleven. by fifteen, she was one of the best dancers at school. every time there were carnivals or talent shows she would be on the stage dancing her heart out. bobae took up singing just to get the attention of other people. she wanted to be able to shine during talent shows and make people fawn over her. she wanted her to appear in peoples' minds as soon as the words 'best singer' were mentioned. but she never really had the heart to work on her singing skills, so even till now she's not an especially good singer.

junko experienced hate at first sight for herfirst second nth time when bobae strutted into the interview room with the air of confidence around her that boredered on arrogance. bobae's informal and fickle attitude didn't improve her impression, and vice versa. but after ( reluctantly ) working together, they admit with a huff that the other is talented and is a nice addition to seoul hero. their relationship is slowly improving, as the thinly veiled barbs are gone and the groupmates no longer have to worry about catfights happening any second. however, they're still not friends.
junko experienced hate at first sight for her
resident light switch: cha minsoo | 23 | amateur rapper; ice cream server | minsoo brings all the girls to the baskin robbins branch he works at daily. bobae's on-and-off boyfriend, minsoo is bobae's second boyfriend since both of them were 17 and their relationship is...wonky as . they argue over the tiniest things but make up in a span of half an hour to a month. they know pretty much everything about each other and are always unable to lie to the other. it's obvious when they're on or off; when they're on, they can't keep their hands off each other and frequently make out in public, posting endless selfies on instagram. when they're off, an avalanche of sad quotes appear on instagram but no one even bothers to ask them what's going on because 99% of the time it's because they argued again. there is no classifying who apologizes first, and when they do make up, they don't say anything, they merely march over to the other's apartment, knock on the door, and basically throw themselves on each other. it's safe to say they have a rather active life. seojoon considers their relationship to have a rather rocky basis, but it's evident they do love each other and can't live without the other. it's just that both of them have prickly personalities and are unable to fully express how they really feel. doesn't help that bobae is currently much more successful than minsoo in terms of income, making him feel inferior. they fought over that but are now on again as of march 21 2016.
best bastard: ji seojoon | 23 | physical therapist | best friends since the young age of fourteen, their relationship can mainly be summed up by: kicking, fighting, screeching, posting ugly selfies of each other, and bullying the other to buy them food. often mistaken to be a couple and denying it vehemently when people compliement them, bobae gagging and seojoon making a expresson similar to a cat that's been run over by a truck. they're close as hell and can immediately pick up anything that's wrong through plain text and literally know everything about each other. in fact, bobae's been counting the days he hasn't ed, calling it a feat and saying his record to anyone who's willing to listen. seojoon's parents love bobae and vice versa, and the parents like joking that they should marry their children off to each other. won't be happening, of course, since they see each other as siblings and they don't support . but to be honest, seojoon is a pretty nice guy in general and gets bullied by bobae a lot more than he bullies her. they've had crushes on each other, but at different times and are very much over it, and are in fact pretty open about it, with seojoon constantly wondering how he ever fell for song .

EXPERIENCE. as for singing, bobae's praised as having skills by fans, but when faced by vocal critics, her level's really just weak. her range is b3 ~ g#4, 2 octaves and 4 notes. singing with a light lyric soprano, openness and forward placement are often present in her higher singing, and she can an acceptable intonation when she sings. her voice is present throughout the song, and some support is shown when she sings softly. however, her voice is usually stuck in , and her larynx isn't stable. she can sound pushed and compressed and 'sings' notes above g#4 by yelling. her lower range is underdeveloped and her falsetto is weak. in fact, ever register is underdeveloped when it comes to bobae.
