「✕」 haeun is a busybody. she loves to listen to gossips of other people, and help matchmake those who are in love. but at least she is good at keeping secrets others have told her as she is close-mouthed, and would never repeat the things she heard from those who told her. and that is even with her loved ones, like occasionally if jooyoung had been discussing with her about one of the confessions and she knew what happened, she will use all her skills as a future actress to act like she has no idea. she is also really helpful, and would try her best to treat others kindly, with her motto being "spread the love". her naivety does not help her though, as she would sometimes get tricked by strangers who she was helping. one time, she almost got kidnapped in london when she was trying to help an old lady, who turned out to be a young man dressing up as one. being born with a silver spoon, she is very generous with her (or rather her parents') money, and usually treats her friends if the place they went to seemed to cost too much for typical students. not only that, she is also generous with her time, and would not hesitate to listen to the woes of others. however, due to her parents, she is pampered and would depend on others for many things. she wants things her way, and unless you patiently and logically explain to her the reason not to, her stubborn personality will also ensure that she will most likely get things her way.

「✕」 one good thing about haeun is that she is really optimistic, sometimes too much so. she finds opportunities everywhere, and sees good in everyone. she simply cannot conceive the idea that the future is not a bright one. this might be the reason why she is so carefree, and it is not that she does not think about her problems, but rather that she does not think she has any problems. "they will solve themselves", is what she likes to say. haeun is what her friends would call weird, as she would randomly do things no one expects, some of them being: dancing when she is very happy even when there is no music, laughing to some joke in her head, and crying when they are watching the funniest part of the comedy because she thought of something sad all of a sudden. as if her being naive was not enough, her clumsiness is a cause of worry for her family and friends as well. she can walk into glass doors, trip (though luckily she rarely falls) over air, and have papercut frequently. she is also really timid, not when dealing with other people, but she is scared of so many things. she is also a dreamer, loving to fantasize about her prince in love with her, or flying, or simply being in a school of magic where she wields special powers.

And yes, she is Haeun's idol.
「✕」 it is all about...: she does not mind where she studies acting, as long as she gets to study. the only reason she joined himnae was because her best friend jessica and her cousins are in this school, so why not? if she could get to be close to them. a bonus when she met her first boyfriend, jonghyun here. not so great when they broke up. and then she fell for that boy.
「✕」 tkfkddmfghkrtks... what?: most people who saw her username would have thought that she had accidentally rubbed her hands across the keyboard when she was registering and pressed enter before she could stop it (because with her character, that might really have happened). the truth was that it meant "spread the love" on the korean keyboard. a huge group of friends thought that she would forget the username, but guess what? she never did. she did, however, vowed to her friends that she would be with whoever understood her username, which turns out to be her ex, jonghyun, and now taemin. she is not with taemin. no way. *blushes deep red* not yet anyway.
「✕」 no swearing please: due to her family, she does not like to use vulgarities, and would scrunch up her face when she hears others use it.
「✕」 all these yucky things: she hates the smell of cigarettes and taste of alcohol, so when her friends go out for drinking, she will usually have non-alcoholic beverages. they also tend to help prevent others from forcing her to drink, either by drinking it for her, or outright telling the person to stop it.
「✕」 and the list goes on: she is scared of clowns, mannequins, dolls, insects, horror movies and stories, gory movies, thriller movies (at times), scary-looking animals like shark and piranha, roller coasters, thunder and other loud noises, flying on the plane (she has this phobia ever since she is 19).
「✕」 there is just one thing: many people might be scared of heights, but not haeun. sure, she has a phobia of being on the plane, but when she is on stable ground, like on top of the mountains or at the 100th floor of a glass building, she loves that feeling of being so high up.
「✕」 breakfast. must. have. breakfast.: many people might miss breakfast just to sleep more, but not haeun. she will always have breakfast. if she is lazy or tired, she will go to one of the dining halls to have breakfast, and after being haeun's roommate, soo jung has also been forced to accompany her for daily breakfasts. it is a good thing haeun cooks well because soo jung basically takes care of her in other aspects.
「✕」 it's time for some tea party: she loves drinking tea, and also knows how to brew tea the traditional way for a few cultures, especially japanese. she collects tea leaves and tea sets from different countries as well.

「✕」 do we have to go?: since haeun's mother is born from an extremely wealthy family, and haeun's father took over their family business due to his wife being the only child, they sometimes have to go to networking events for the rich and famous. however, haeun hated these because she had to act all prim and proper, and she had to use all that she learnt during ettiquette classes, from how to walk to how to dine.
「✕」 we know each other from way back: she had been living in california and was classmates with jung soo yeon jessica, the older of the jung sisters, for many years. they were really close friends, so when jessica went back to korea one year because of her parents, haeun pestered her parents to let her go back to her birth country as well, both wanting to see her relatives and also, she missed her best friend too much. since she registered late, she was in the same year as soo jung instead. jessica graduated with a bachelor's degree in music a year ago, and now soo jung and haeun shared the same dorm room.
「✕」 someone likes to keep it clean: haeun keeps the dorm clean by throwing away her rubbish straightaway instead of keeping it lying around. however, the actual person keeping it so neat and spotless is soo jung (even when soo yeon was around, it was still soo jung keeping the dorm clean). she makes sure that there is no dust lying around whenever she could. basically soo jung acts like haeun's mother, even though in reality she is younger.

↳ interactions/relationship/other stuff: at first it looked like these two cannot get along, but after they started talking because of hello stranger, they started working together during their classes, and they became close friends and shared their secrets with each other. by studying together, they both make sure that the other is paying attention to the books rather than daydreaming, a habit that both seemed really fond of. they could talk for hours on end, the two being good at both listening and talking, they would have healthy conversations about basically everything. since most of the people around haeun tends to take care of her like a kid (even those younger than her), kibum serves as one of the few people her age, both in mental and physical age. not to mention, she is kibum's favorite toy.

↳ interactions/relationship/other stuff: one word: rival. maybe, two words, rather: love rival. naeun is the type of girl haeun wants to be evil so she can hate her because she is "his ideal girl", as haeun usually calls her when with her own friends. however, naeun is not that evil type, so haeun just tries to keep a distance from her so that she does not accidentally see taemin meeting her. haeun can't bring herself to act like naeun, since naeun's natural character is the mask that haeun has to put on whenever she is required to go for those events back in us, the ones that she is more than happy to stop going now that she is studying in korea. besides, even if their characters are identical, it is like the fact that she is "haeun" with a "h" and naeun's is "n"; her age and height will still not be ideal.

personality　:

no one can doubt that he is really hardworking and focused person. his passion for music and dance allows him to be so focused on practicing one particular choreography, he can spend around 10 hours each day doing just that in the dance studio until the day of the performance. through his persistence, you would also be able to tell that he will keep wooing the girl he likes until she either becomes his girlfriend or he decides it was not worth it. he is also really charismatic, especially when he is on stage. he can change his facial expressions to fit the performance he is trying to portray.

he is someone who will be really sweet and considerate to his girlfriend, though the main point is that you have to be his girlfriend. he can be a little insensitive to the rest of the people, and even a little cold to strangers and people he is not close to. he is pretty immature, as it is obvious from the fact that he is obsessed with having an ideal type rather than being with someone he truly loves. he is also pretty careless, in the sense that he loses stuff really easily, especially his wallet and handphone.

love story　:

the first time they actually made eye contact was after haeun broke up with jonghyun and she went with jessica to support krystal's dance performance. he was also part of the team and she was attracted to his charismatic side, and there was chemistry flying when their eyes first met. however, he was too stuck on to the ideal type he was taught by his older brother and some of his high school friends. the ideal girl is someone of the same age, or even better, someone younger. she should be y because cute girls get boring after awhile, and also they are usually princesses which is not what his ideal girl should be like. a taller girl would both be easier to kiss and also, she would look slimmer and be more attractive in many clothes. well, he did not know of her age and height until jongin told him that she was krystal's older sister's best friend and classmate since young, and he saw her again backstage when she went to find krystal.

it was not such a big deal at first. but slowly, she realized that whenever he was in the same room as her, her eyes would naturally float towards him. her fantasies about their relationship: him being a prince, and being in love with her and all that jazz, was ongoing before she even started talking to him (because she was with krystal when the girl went to meet jongin and taemin for some discussions). the fantasy slowly transformed into a huge crush after they started talking, and then she began to openly show her feelings for him, some examples are calling him "yobo" and cooking for him (to show him the good wife/girlfriend quality side of her).

he, on the other hand, kept pushing her away. yes, he might have just that tiniest feeling for her, not that anyone, including himself, knows about it. he is definitely not going to go through the same thing his hyung did. he does get use to her behavior towards him after around five to six months, but that just led him to take both her and her feelings for granted. to him, no matter what happens, she will continue showering him with her love, while he keeps wooing his ideal girl.

he might have felt a tinge whenever he sees her being close to kibum, or her ex-boyfriend, and especially that kid tae hwan, but to him, it was definitely not due to something silly called jealousy, but rather, according to him, that tinge should be more along the line of "how can she profess her love for him only to be so close to other guys?", and "my hyung and friends are right, ideal girls are the best for me".

haeun went from displaying her affections out in the open, to gradually being less and less optimistic about him ever returning her feelings. sure, it took her far too long to feel down (her optimism and stubborn side are to blame), but it still did hurt her whenever he shoots her feelings for him down. the key incident that struck her the most was when she saw the lunchbox she had prepared for him the whole morning, being in the possession of his ideal girl. it made her wonder if he had never eaten her cooking, but gave it to the girl all the time. since that time, she never cooked for him again, even though she still tried her best to look upbeat in front of him.

side notes: i do hope that they end up together, but if chosen, please do make it hard for him. PLEASEEEE. i'm so emotional right now imagining all the things she did for him and him taking her for granted. *hitting his head a million times*

「✕」 taemin might try all he wants to reject her, but he seriously loves her cooking, and he would never reject the food she made. when she suddenly stopped the meals, he was really shocked when he did not see her waiting for him with a lunchbox.

「✕」 bugs?! taemin does not, and never would, get anywhere near a bug. of any kind. to say he is scared of them is an understatement of the year.

「✕」 haeun visits the dance club whenever she can. taemin initially complains that she is not a member of the club, so she should not be allowed to watch their practices and rehearsals, but since the president is close to soo jung, who made a special request on behalf of haeun, taemin was unable to do anything. the only time haeun was not allowed there was if the teachers were in the room with them as well.
「✕」 there is a period of time when haeun decides to stop wooing taemin because she felt that he would never ever return her feelings, and so she wishes him all the best in being happy with his ideal girl.

↳ interactions/relationship/other stuff: since naeun is quiet and doesn't approach people she does not know, it is difficult for taemin to try and woo her. he does try to appear in front of her during his free time when she is working in the library though, or he will study there for the chance of meeting her. when she heard that she is his ideal type, she gets even less interested in him, because this simply meant that he does not know the real her, but the image of her in his mind.

↳ interactions/relationship/other stuff: basically, they do not get along. tae hwan hates him because of haeun's feelings towards him, and for how he kept treating haeun. he would have backed away (no he actually won't) if he feels taemin is worthy of haeun's love, but this guy doesn't make him want to give haeun up. they don't usually cross paths but whenever they do, they would either glare at each other silently or make some snides about the other, especially from tae hwan.
