i did crazy thing again...i 'accidentally' increased my internet package limit and now there's no option to downgrade when it was there earlier...(damn u sneaky bastard...i was just being experimental with the buttons..../coughs/)

so it looks like every month i'll have more money fly away...

oh well...

the increase isn't that dramatic...i can handle this without crying TT___TTT (huwaaa...)

Hwang Sooyeon

(let's be honest...you're not one bit surprised rite? i know...i'm not mysterious enough to have any surprise...lol not that i want to be mysterious anyway...that's such a tiring image to keep up...lol)

well...those who have been friends with me for long time(i doubt there are many of those left if any...since i've cleared all my friendlist but a couple people at one time...) would've known how i am when i'm in my phases...you had bear with me during my ZE:A phase, my Rainbow phase, my SS501 phase...and lately...my Im Hanbyul phase...

so please bear with my Hwang Sooyeon phase if you can or just remove me if my blogposts annoy you...xD....no hard feelings at all...

Hwang Sooyeon is just too cool i just can't....

when i started writing Ode to Background...i was pretty darn sure i wouldn't end up watching the show...(when i started that fic...i was more of a Kim Juna stan despite the main character is most probly Yoon Chaekyung...though Hwang Sooyeon caught my eyes upon seeing her reaction to Kim Juna singing...that was the starting point of my curiosity that led to everything now....ugh...and at that time, i had actually already watched her Hot Issue perf but didn't thought much of it...except that i was glad Han Hyeri didn't try to take off her shirt cuz she's too cute for that ><...)

everything just happen naturally n suddenly...(i still can't believe i randomly chose Sooyeon to be the featured character for chapter 2 n it was while trying to write her character n learning about her that i fell hard....ugh... and on the same day i posted the chapter she was eliminated...T^T...and in my fic...Chaekyung mentioned that it felt like it's the last time she'd see Sooyeon.../shivers/...T^T....please don't blame me...i doubt my writing has any impact....just...the coincidence was kinda....mindblowing for me...that i'm almost too sad to continue write that fic now...)

and now because of Sooyeon, my greed to not miss any of her precious moment got the better of me and i'm now downloading all the episodes...

okay, can we get down to fangirly session...???

she is sooo cool. /fans self/ (because that totally make sense...lol)

so i just watched the hot issue episode today...

the other team was focused on, so much (most probly since it had Choi Yoojung everyone's fav center girl of the show)...the conflict was always about them picking the wrong center girl n Yoojung's conflicted feelings bcuz she's so kind n want to let other girl have the center spot too despite knowing she should be it...uhh okay...though there's one part the rapper(i presume the leader as well?) conflicted bcuz their team had many underaged girls...which imo is much more worthy of a conflict than the conflict for the right center girl...

hey...in Hwang Sooyeon team ...she ain't even the center...and her on-spot audience votes ended up the freaking highest of the two groups(180)...yes, higher than the fav center girl(101)...and actually...overall of all girls...she placed 2nd next to everyone's most worshipped girl Kim Sejung(204)...with difference of just 24 votes...for an underdog to go that high up ....next to wall...that is considered freaking little difference okay...

and she won with no favoristim from the show or anything...purely her own charisma...her team was even showed just a little compared to the other team...

and although Lee Suhyun was the one who chose the members...Sooyeon was the leader (which i assume bcuz of her age?)...but age bedamned bcuz look at me...am i matured? lol. She oozes with so much calm leadership n charisma n maturity...and when the teacher asked why Yoo Suah(who's actually from F-rank sorry got it wrong...D rank i think......and she's not as popular as many people would like to make her sound..or else she'd still be on the show...) was chosen as the center....Sooyeon calmly gave her justification on Suah's dance skill n stuff n its relevance to the song n stuff...n the teacher approves...while for the other team....i'm just gonna say...meh. the whole hoopla drama n tears over center spot was kinda lame for me. i still disagree they'd win over Sooyeon's team even if Yoojung became the center girl.

Cmon..that charisma is not something you can easily win over with some winks n cuteness(don't start with the dance...i'm so annoyed of her fans who try to bring down YooSuah dance skills just to praise their idol n even said Sooyeon team won just for the shirtlift n Suah wasn't even a good dancer as good as Yoojung n only had that highkick dance...huh...seriously gurl...) ...

the difference in votes was 79...when Sooyeon was the unknown one and Yoojung was the only one who got loud cheer from her team(her bastard fans didn't even cheer for the team but only one girl...when it wasn't even her part...i'd be annoyed if i was her team mates...some great fans she has)

i feel like in Sooyeon team...everyone pretty much shined...even if Sooyeon shined the brightest as the y n powerful charisma...there's Suhyun the flirty one, Hongeun the awkward one, Suah the dancer and Hyeri the cute one...

fun fact: did you realize that for both teams...the Center ended up with the least votes? but for Sooyeon's team...3 girls got more votes than the entire of the other team sans everyone's fav center girl who got the 2nd total votes next to Sooyeon...

Sooyeon wasn't the center but everyone felt like she was probly...bcuz she's so damn charismatic no position could contain her....well, and she's the main rapper...

but it's hard to not fangirl watching their itsy bits of preparation parts where she organized her team and monitored their perf so well...and everyone in her team was so happy n confident bcuz they're secure enough of their own worth regardless of position...you can't discredit her leadership there...a leader can make or break the mood of the team...even in the rap mission in ep6...

she was again, the leader(the perks of being 'old'? xD) and when two members had power conflict...she didn't spoke much but mediate them a little by getting them to speak their feelings and she tried make them feel better instead of scolding them or anything...she is such a girlcrush. that calm quiet thoughtful maturity....ugh...definitely one of the not-dramatic chill ones. and even in that perf...she chose to not be center despite getting votes...and stated that it was burdensome for her to take that position...no tears or drama over it...she was mostly on the side or at the back during the perf...but she still manage to get 2nd highest votes next to the center n main rapper...

i know you might wanna argue that center is important...but eh...as Park Hayi said of her Irony perf...they tricked her to think center is important but then there's more focus on Kim Sejung n Kim Sohye than herself who's the center...haa.

Mnet has favoritism...unfortunately...whether you like to admit or not many of the popular girls bcame popular bcuz of the favoritism they get or maybe earn a little but get to enjoy the result of continuous favoritism...

as Sooyeon said...mnet cut off her company's team..Happyface from the first perf ...which most probly was the reason happyface trainees all got cut off so fast...i mean..there's eight of them...and after first cutoff there's only Sooyeon n Ayoung left...both barely making it in...before both eliminated

Sooyeon get no favoritism or any perks...like Sejung the postergirl for perfect talent + kindness and blabla, Somi postergirl of JYP! and Yoojung as the postergirl for eyesmile center girl of the show...she doesn't get favoritism from fans for being close to any popular girls and getting freerides...or for being from team everyone support like pledis or jellyfish or mbk or fantagio or whatever...or from mnet...

if she's popular it's purely for her awesome charisma n whatever she brings to stage...well, she's still not that popular...i mean...she's eliminated already...though at the time she's eliminated she actually trended on twitter despite not even focused in the elimination part for sympathy points...

actually..even after hot issue she didn't immediately jump the rank and barely escaped elimination...after that awesomebadassness...she only got that high (56 out of 61 survivors)...(though in next ep she jumped 20 spots but still)

Actually, i'm sure there are more hidden gems underrated ones that never got their chance to shine in the show itself....Sooyeon is actually one of the more success story of someone who got recognition from the show even if she didn't win....which i'm glad for...since if she win...she'd be stuck with a bunch of popular girls i'm not sure i want to keep watching just cuz they're with my fav girl as a team...i'm selfish like that...

and i'm annoyed at others' reaction at her asking to do vocal part for once instead of rap during the episode she's eliminated......ugh....she never even asked for anything...and the way they ridiculed her request....blah...yeah you can bring on the popular excuse 'evil editing' blabla...whatever...

 

though i still have some favs left in the show...like Juna, Inseon, Hyemin n most recent addition...Hyeongeun...with addition Hyeri n Chaekyung...

it's not the same...

sigh...

oh well...

one thing's for sure...

 

 

I love Hwang Sooyeon. n i'm gonna keep rooting for her.

but i don't think that's something you don't know already.

 

ps: and pls don't bother coming in to say how wrong i am for not saying nice things for your fav popular girls cuz it won't change my mind..so don't waste your time please...thanks...
