great...yesterday i got charisma-attacked...and then...cute attack? what's next seriously? i'm scared of this show...i watched previous ep's perfs n they're all just so so...but this week when they did all these vocal thing...whoa...

now normally...i'm not into cutesy aegyo or anything...

especially when usually those aegyo hardly come with any other solid talents that really matter

anyway, this girl...Han Hyeri...is just so cute in such a naturally pure way and can actually sing-well...i've seen people raving bout some girls on the show and when i try them....just...why?.....i guess....it's all about other charms

but what about when you have both other charm(like cuteness whatever) + actual ability?

why not?

While we're at that...

how bout give some love to Kang Sihyun too, another Star Empire trainee who are still surviving with Han Hyeri...they both have actually solid vocals...but are drowned not having enough hype or biased editing favouring them or so called charms whatevertheheck...though i think Hyeri has more chance of attracting ppl since she has cute factor to make ppl love her more...Sihyun has no other charm to stand out but at least her vocal is strong...

 

but still...i see ppl raving bout lesser singer way much more...

even for good ones...say,...the girl who got top #1....people say there's no way you can not love her cuz she's perfect with or without biased editing....but think about it....her good natured reactions are always captured in every other team perfs...so you say it's cuz she always have good reactions...but how about other girls who might always have good reactions but never captured...if that is not biased editing...then i don't know what is...(tbh, i've seen her with 'mean' expression too but i guess everyone will look over it since she has more good natured expressions captured to be remembered...haa...they're just girls...not park gyurigoddess...so no need to try so hard to prove one is perfect than the rest cuz i'm pretty damn sure none are...if you hate when ppl nitpicking the moment your fav not-smiling face is shown...why you nitpick others?)...i have no doubt she is nice...but i'm just tired of seeing some people got heavily promoted for qualities others might also have but went ignored....

 

Anyway, i have no doubt in Star Empire trainees....i mean look at how good ZE:A and Nine Muses are....somehow i feel that in SE talents, i can trust...(although tbh i didn't know there were any SE in this show until i started watching the perfs for girlgroup debut song mission...and i'm not much of a company biased junkie as well...but cmon..they're good? and they're underdogs for not coming from everyone's fav companies/teams....can i turn a blind eye to that? i love me underdogs...)

and they're even unique...i love how the perf was built up from making people ridicule them to people being speechless and just watch...shame that the girl who led the perf(Kim Yoonji) already out...

now...speaking of companies favoritism....you know i love DSP...don't lie you know it!

they do look like they're nice pretty girls....Yoon Chaekyung and Jo Siyoon....but....there's where it ends.

Chaekyung probly has more stable singing...but their singing doesn't really stand out to me...

and their presence in perfs are nothing to shout out either....i feel bad saying this cuz they're underdogs too here...you know how DSP is ridiculously looked down on....riiitee....when they produced some really good singers+personalities+charms+looks....SS501/KARA/A'ST1/Rainbow anyone?....even if not all of them are popular...can you deny their charms if you bother watch them? Up to A-JAX...i still feel i can like them somewhat....but idk somehow...after Rainbow(who's probly DSP's girlgroup with the most strong personalities)...it seems DSP ran out of girls with personalities or teacher who taught on having/showing personality or sth...the dullness...i can't not see....i mean...i can't stand watching April's dullness...and these two girls...didn't redeem my downsliding impression on dsp future...and lack of voice character doesn't help...DSP has some of the voices that impressed me the most among idols...those unique voices and superb vocal...hey, even if A'ST1 were flops by kpop standard...three of them redebuted in vocal-focused groups...that is already telling a lot of their quality as singers...no?...the past few years had me really growing disappointment...bcuz i used to have all my trust in DSP talents too.

i feel so bad for not being awed by the girls...but i can't love from just feeling bad

i want to like them cuz they seem like nice girls in the sea of ummm....idk...

but they're....dull  probly not confident enough of their own worth....i'm being hypocritical since i was just saying about how other charm shouldn't be the determining factor...but...then....make their singing standout or sth...

being pretty is not enough...

cmon dsp...

teach your girls to show more of their personalities or have more pride in themselves so that they'd be more charming n not just bland pretty n nice but nothing more...this is not the 90s...where that might work...most of their supporters i keep seeing are just fans of dsp/KARA or whatever related...

that's...not enough.

not like dsp influence/name value is still as big as sm

far from it in fact....

c'mon..i want to root for these girls too, not just cuz they're dsp...but cuz they look like they're nice girls...haa....so please give me just one solid reason to...bcuz nice n pretty ain't enough...

at least train the hell of their vocals so they'd be as stand out as SE girls at least so i have a reason to want to root for them...

^ Chaekyung got herself into one of the topdog teams...i don't want to hate the top #1 girl...but it's sad that everyone in the universe only focus on her(and maybe another 1-2 girls youknowwhoo) when others are good too...sure she's/they're really good...but let's not pretend there were no other as good...why can't they share a piece of love? why? why? that's how i grow dislike for all things popular....i don't hate the singers themselves...but how limited fans' perspectives are in perceiving n appreciating...so i choose to limit mine...the other way round...to balance...i exist to contribute balance in the unbalanceness that always rule everything....lol...even if my contribution is so little often they're too little to make any impact...without contributions from moreee ppl....

 

ending like boss with my girlcrush team...well, Siyoon is in this perf too...since i don't watch the show...so i don't know all those evil editing other than the ones seen in their singing clip...but Juna really seem like a nice girl on top of that singing too../biased mode much?/...it's surprising i likelove her considering her popularity...but i guess her popularity doesn't make her the ultimate topdog too..since i rarely see ppl fangirling her n i still see ppl trashtalk her or just ignore her despite hello that's singing talent in yo face n it's not like she get much hyped for being nice either...their team seem to have the weakest vocals of the teams collectively imo...gotta see how well other teams did...maybe it's the level of confidence...in this team....only the two main vocals seem comfortable enough...some of the others were pretty good but level of confidence is not really...i kinda like the two girls sitting at the right who harmonized together...but maybe more on Yoon Seohyung..she n Kim Juna did most of the backing up and harmonizing...n she's also sole fighter who came without a team i think...but despite the many weakness, i still like this team's perfs the best cuz of the song n  Kim Juna's rocking charisma n leadership vibe(is she the leader here?)...n the way the girls reacted to her singing....so precious...omg..i keep replaying her parts for her singing n also the reactions...><...

 

wait...i think i'll end it with this team...

now this. is what would be worth raving for.even if you don't know them.

hear dem vocals. hear them feels. no...don't just hear...listen.

every one of them did so flawlessly.

i dare say, no weak link at all.

just raw emotion and singing their hearts out. beautiful.

this is what i call singing from the heart...their feelings go straight to the listeners heart...

i can believe those clips of other girls watching tearing up aren't just crocodile tears...since i'm tearing up too...

now excuse me while i got my feels...

ugh...i hate this show.
