Once every aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, cousin and her parents are out, it's like her soul left with. She becomes robotic, like a computer, just spitting out tibits of useful knowledge that are helpful. Hyerin has her own way of caring, she easily picks up on how anyone feels despite how much they can try to hide, and someone anonymously sends that person's best friend a note saying to help their friend with so and so. Now it can't be Hyerin because she hates everyone and so emotionless... She always gets what she wants, it's a family thing that tends to skip generations, she'll do whatever it takes if she wants or needs it no matter how unimportant it may be.

Background ♦ From when she was probably just six years old, Do Hyerin lived her life by two saying. One of them being a Song family saying, "One way or another, everybody returns home." She learned that over the years as she watched everyone of the first generation bring their own children back to their hometown. Eventually, they all just moved into a huge manor together. Everyone knew the same saying she did and repeated sort of teasingly after fights and the other walks away in frustration, because they know all will be well in the end. It was around that same time too when Hyerin developed her own saying to live by, "Ignorance is bliss." She knew that she knew much more about certain subjects than her cousins. She may of not been able to multiply yet but they weren't able to see how Jungwa had a devil on her right shoulder (right shoulder is where the angel should be). Hyerin couldn't read like the elder couins but she could sense the darkness in her two year old cousin from the dark faries that flew in circles above the baby's crib. She never told anyone about what they saw, from the TV shows they watched she had a feeling they wouldn't believe her.
Hyerin's has always been conflicted on whether or not she regretted her decesion to keep them in the dark when she turned 16. That devil that had sat on Jungwa's right shoulder, he grew up and wrapped his arms around her (my way of 'creatively' saying that Jungwa got into a bad place). The faries that once flew around her two year old cousin's crib at night, they stopped coming the day they took her goodness. Okano, the one Hyerin thought she kept safe, was shot by a cherub and fell for a En. Hyerin never knew if he was actually truely evil, she was too frustrated with the thought of magic when she picked up the knife. It's for her to say, because of her knowledge and foolishness of hiding it alongside their ignorance, that that was why her family had been torn from the brink. Why everyone had fled the nest without a goodbye.
Hyerin had been getting ready to run off to Japan when he came. Soon Jookyung. Right off the bat, Hyerin could tell there was something off about him. The way the earth angels (who were at the ticket booth thing at the airports) took a slight step back. However, he had something on him that wasn't anything she was familiar with, Hyerin heard a strange whispering- no a hissing coming off of him. Jookyung didn't have to say a word, they walked out of the airport silently and into his car. As soon as they both slid in the car Hyerin didn't hesistate.
"Turn around, take off the jacket."
Luckily, Jookyung had a feeling what she was looking for (cause he's wise like that) and did it without hesitation. Hyerin glared at his Zodiac mark a minute, the hissing was louder and bothered her but she finally made out the airy words. Jookyung put his jacket back on and turned around to face her, he finally speaks. "Well? You know what I am don't you?"
Hyerin simply states. "You got into this because your brother. Soon Younghan, righ Jookhyung." She sits back in her seat and shurgs. "I don't know exactly what you do yet but, if it involves protecting family I'm in."

Song Sungwook | 24| Cop | "Fatherly" figure of the generation as to being the oldest. Unlike Hyerin and many of the others, Sungwook was aware of their lineage, as she inherited the En genes as well. Sungwook is a xlyomancer, she watches out for her cousins by looking into clear objects or liquids. She left in shame of failing their grandmother to protect the others.
Jeon Hyoyun | 23| Threapist (in training)/Student | Hyoyun and Hyerin have always known that something bad brewed in their family. However, Hyoyun wasn't one of 'them', neither shared what they truely thought was wrong with their family and Hyoyun has been preoccupied with their cousin they have yet to figure out.
Akabane Yuzuki | 22| Voice actress | Hyerin's one cousin she may actually hate. Yuzuki had fled far without looking back when things went south. Hyerin was actually heading to Japan to see her adopted cousin.
Jeon Yunhi | 20| Cafe Owner | Like Gi Young and Chami, Yunhi is just trying to get a life again. Opening up a cafe and convincing her cousins to focus themselves on their studies. She only ever acknowledges Hyerin when the girl visits and ignores all the Ens in the family to the best of her ability.
Han Hyeoyong | 19| Caretaker (in training) | When Sungwook had left, she left Jungwa in his care. While Yunhi tried to convince him to just forget about her and get normalcy in his life, he stuck up for Hyerin, Jungwa, Sungwook, Hyomin and Jimin, though he is just human. He cares for Hyerin greatly and is the one to make sure she's okay.
Min Jungwa | 19| Patient | Five years ago, the 'incident' that ruined Jungwa's whole family happened. She's what they call a cryogenic daemon. Forever stuck in the body of a human her daemon insteads comes out and influnces into doing it's bidding. She stays at the local hospital, doctors suspecting she had schizophernia. Hyerin's main goal is to find a way to stop the daemon.
Do Chami | 19| Student/Baker | The innocent bystander that had to witness Jungwa's transformation fromt the kind girl she once was. Chami had been left hospitilzed and in shock for three months. After recovering she willingly followed Yunhi into forgetting the people she once considered family.
Kim Okano | 18| Student | She never knew why the love of her life had suddenly left, or why Hyerin had ran out of the house after meeting him. One second they were both in the kitchen, then she never saw either again. Hyerin prefers to watch from a distance rather than coming up and talking to her.
Park Gi Young | 17| Student | Hyerin's quite the toughie so Gi Young must be bad if she can bring Hyerin to tears almost every night after just one conversation. Gi Young was once a happy girl who followed Hyerin like a puppy, up until five years ago when she found out she was born to a family of freaks. 'Luckily' she managed to be one of the normal ones but something just told her that Hyerin wasn't and she wanted her gone.
Min Jimin | 16| Student | Lives in her own apartment paid by Hyerin. When she was little, dark faires had haunted her at night and sapped her joy and happiness. She instead is an empty shell that eats, sleeps, and poops. Hyerin checks up on her at least once a week and researches ways to bring her joy back.
Kim Hyomin | 15| Student | A fire entity that is better off alone. Sungwook paid for her tution to a private boarding school in China, as the stress of the situation was only dangerous for Hyomin but for people in her prescence as well. Hyerin makes monthly trips to China to catch up with Hyomin and Hyomin comes to Korea as well.

Vague found out her from someone on the police force who was talking about their most recent arrest, Min Jungwa, a mental hospital escapee all the way from Daegu. He/she mentioned a strange girl, "She was kind of like robot, she told us everything without a single bit of emotion then she gets up and leaves. She was bit of a freak, kept going on about how she knew something would happened if she 'left him there' left who though?"
Vague, feeling somewhat suspicious, called an informant from Goyang-si who had lived in Daegu at the time of Min Jungwa's hospitilization, Song Sungwook. Sungwook tells her the story of her cousins and that the girl was most likely Hyerin, clairvoyant who is unaware of her identity as an En. Vague sends Jookyung in knowing that Hyerin wouldn't be as trusting to her as she was an En.

Their memories come out as what they were thinking at the time something was happening and Hyerin has to focus hard in order to get the right ones. Hyerin is also at risk of getting panic attacks from hearing certains thoughts that include fighting with a family member or any subject of family as well as feeling weaker from having to concentrate depending on how old a person is. Afterwards, static will temporary increase in her head as she is too tired to try to shut them up.
