Today is like....SS501 edition! ok...just 2 ss501 song....1 jungmin...n if we can erm...somewhat include romeo...and also...Weather Forecast oppars, and KARA...
speaking of SS501...i think they're a very unfortunate group....they were very popular...the only group whose popularity ever rivaled the oh so great dbsk at their peak of monstrous popularity...yet ppl always talk down SS501....and even back then international kpop fans that weren't their fan only acknowledge the group for kim hyunjoong....n even now, when kim hyunjoong messed up....he became the reason to hate the entire group...like what the ...are y'all blind/deaf/idiot?....what are the other four dudes doing there that they seem invisble in good or bad times...? if it weren't for those four awesome kids...i wouldn't even check out ss501 in the first place....everyone's obsession with hyunjoong n hyunjoong alone turned me off from trying the group besides their overpopularity since i almost always dislike anything popular/trending...though...i did see some shinhwa fans talking bout youngsaeng's greatness n that kinda make me curious since back when i was in the shinhwa forum...they hardly praise other idols or speak of them...not even your great dbsk...but i've seen mention of ss501 more than once or twice, all in good light...n then there's kyujong one of the original bearer of nice/kind guy image in kpop...n then have you even seen jungmin n hyungjun aka minjun in action...the world erupt in all sort of crazy idiocy funniness when those two lil shiets get together...but they both also acknowledge themselves as the ones who have the unique voices in the group n yknow what...i love them for knowing their own forte...it's just ever since they go solo...i don't see hyungjun putting much effort to make full use of his great singing in live stages,....while jungmin totally took charge of his singing career n impress in his stages with no gimmicks but just his singing...n just like minwoo/hyungsik in ZE:A...i feel those two always be the victim of bad hair probly cuz they're the maknaes n all...idk....now as i reminisce SS501 n their out of the world hilariousness...i suddenly am reminded of Youngsaeng's earnest video message to fried chicken when they're in Japan n he was asked to send message to someone he missed in Korea n i just lol...also....kyujong's cuteness with his big teddy bear when he n hyunjoong were being lil idiots playing with the camera placed in their room n being amused with their own idiotness....i love the KARA songs here too, even if i'm not a big fan of Seungyeon's voice, i love this song too...Be My 1004 was one of the earlier non-mainstream k-songs i got to know n liked back then...as for my Weather Forecast oppars...Wish was a title that Weather Forecast had for three times....in their 3rd, 4th n 5th album.....titled Wish, Sowon(translated as Wish) n Baraem(translated as Wish) respectively...this is the one from their 4th album i believed...n i'm a lil wistful as i reminisce LUG...the time i first saw them n heard them sing live during Shinhwa concert i attended...n how i thought they're way even better at singing than Shinhwa, they're just debuting nugus at that time but their debut tile song was sooooooo popular in Korea that so many ppl sang it in their UCC/audition/noraebang videos...this song here was from their 2nd album....after 2 members left for army n only their two main vocalists left...i miss LUG n all the talented n variety of singers n awesomeness i get from kpop back in the days when i was a noob.
i really missed the good times.
oh...and since Your Colour is like...my favvvv song (okay...i'm not sure if it has been dethroned but hey it's still in top 5 or top 3...i can say that much)...have a bonus...my fav live perf of it...how they rock-ified the song with the live band made it soooo much cooler....><....
