About AFF badges

I've been wanting to ask this but I always seem to forget to. How do you have badges? Like, do you buy it or something? And I also noticed that there are different kinds of badges too. Can someone please explain it to me? Oh and the gold status too. Thanks~

Basically everyone has explained already, so for the gold status you gotta pay to be sort of a VIP. You'll received the app founder badge and the chartered one, or something. But once your subscription for the VIP one runs out, that means your gold status badge is gone too.

Well, I don't know about the others, but one badge I got was just from being a member for a certain number of years. Gold status can be bought, I think.
