( 2012 ) in-young has always had a passion for dance. he went abroad for one year to japan to participate in a special dance program. his parents didn't want him to become a dancer though; they wanted him to become a business man so that he could be successful & live comfortably. due to this, in-young tossed away his dream to become a dancer in favour of a career in finance. to make some money as a teenager, in-young began teaching dance at a studio just down the street from his apartment building. when in-young went off to konkuk university to study accounting & business management, he continued to teach at the small studio & formed a friendship with the elderly woman who owned the studio, yoon yeo jung.

mother : kim ja-ok : 55 (65) : in-young doesn't talk to his mother much anymore because she was angry when he used his degree to become the partner of an old dance studio. as soon as he told his family that he was going to work at yeo jung's dance studio he also told them he was moving out. he moved into a small apartment above the studio. ja-ok was also hard on in-young while he was in high school, never accepting his grades, telling him that he could, and must, do better.
older brother : kae in-guk : 22 (32) : when the brothers were younger, they didn't get along as well; in-guk found in-young rather annoying. in-young is jealous of in-guk for becoming a well-respected doctor in one of the more prestegious hospitals in seoul. in-guk is one of the few people who know that in-young is dating taekwoon. in-guk is uncomfortable with the relationship not only because taekwoon is a man, but also because taekwoon is four years older than in-young. he has promised to keep their relationship a secret though. taekwoon & in-guk were in the same year at jeguk & knows that taekwoon was a pretty cool guy.

THEY HAD A rather high-profile RELATIONSHIP with both of them being highly academic & active in dance. their relationship cast HIM as THE DOTING BOYFRIEND, & HER as THE beautiful, sassy GIRLFRIEND (think bo-na & chan young from the heirs). THEY SEEMED like the perfect couple (their classmates refered to them as "ji-young couple") but after they graduated, he broke it off, seemingly for no reason.

personality : Taekwoon is a man of few words. he seems like a cold guy on the outside so it takes a patient person to understand him. each word that he does speak holds many meanings, as each word is chosen carefully before spoken. though he doesn't say much, he is a composer that writes soulful lyrics & give breath-taking performances of his own, due to his perfectionist nature. this can also be one of his worst traits since he tires himself out, trying to perfect whatever he's working on. in-young is one of the few who can understand taekwoon even when he doesn't say much. in-young acts as his mouthpiece but sometimes, even he don't know the full extent of taekwoon's thoughts.
background : taekwoon was a normal senior at jeguk high school in the same year as in-young's older brother when in-young was still in middle-school. he was the captain of the taekwondo team for both his junior & senior year. after he graduated, many people had assumed that taekwoon would pursue a career in sports but surprised everyone when he decided to go into a business & entrepreneurship program at seoul university. after graduating, he was then hired at an entertainment company as a partner in 2012, to be a composer & co-ordinator. it wasn't until 2014 that he became an artist as well.
