Humble, hard-working, loyal, sensitive, jealous, competitive.

So-hee always works hard toward her goals and to reach them honestly but she will never admit how much hard work she puts into the things she does. Her mother always taught her that bragging will never work out for you. While she is jealous of her older sister (by just a few minutes), she is very close to her family, including Somi, and would never do anything to hurt Somi. Since So-hee works hard to achieve her goals, she is very sensitive of critical comments toward her and her abilities. She tries not to show emotions when criticized but she can't help but get angry. She is jealous that Somi was able to get into the entertainment industry fairly easily by winning Produce 101 and then becoming a successful soloist. She doesn't like feeling inferior when she works so hard and is always trying to come out on top. She won't resort to unethical means but can be more cold towards her opponents.

So-hee and Somi were bullied for being mixed-race when they were going through school in South Korea. They both considered plastic surgery to try to blend in more with their classmates. Due to the bullying, at the beginning of high school, So-hee went to a boarding school in Toronto, Canada (as their Canadian relatives live nearby) but eventually returned to South Korea for her last 2 years of high school due to missing her parents and siblings.

The Douma family has always been close and supported each other. Though So-hee is generally jealous of Somi for being the perfect child who became a world-wide star, she still supports her sister which is why she agreed to take her place in a few brief public appearances when she was unwell. Being a supportive sister, when So-hee considered joining Produce Angel, but expressed doubts, Somi encouraged her to do it even though that meant that So-hee probably wouldn't be able to be her body-double anymore.

 Jeon Somi

So-hee is jealous of her older sister (older only by a couple minutes) but wishes the best for her and her career. She is supportive of Somi and is grateful that Somi told her to join Produce Angel as a contestant.

 Evelyn Douma

Of course, sisters annoy each other but since Somi and So-hee don't live with Evelyn anymore, their relationship is much closer. They tend to baby Evelyn more despite her being older now.

 Matthew Douma

Somi and So-hee get their love of the entertainment industry from their father but Somi is closer to him and more like him in personality. Matthew is glad that both girls are pursuing their dreams.

 Jeon Sun-hee

Sun-hee is the quieter parent and more reserved but is So-hee's rock when dealing with the stresses of being an adult and now also being a contestant on a K-pop survival show. She always seeks her mother's advice who gives tough but fair criticisms.

 Bang Jieun

Jieun is a stylist with The Black Label. So-hee and Jieun worked together quite a bit when So-hee was managing artists but they became friends in high school when So-hee moved back to South Korea. They used to love to bond by going out to eat and shopping but now that So-hee is revealed to be Somi's twin sister and is also a Produce Angel contestant, they mostly hang out in the dorms to avoid paparrazzi and watch anime while eating takeout.

 Bang Jiwon

So-hee's best friend's older brother. Jiwon originally wanted to become a trainee but decided that he wanted to become a composer/vocal coach and now works for The Black Label but was also hired on as one of the vocal coaches for Produce Angel. He always saw So-hee as his younger sister's friend and was completely oblivious to So-hee's crush on him. Now that she's gained some confidence and they're each closer to each other than to others on Produce Angel, he is starting to feel more romantic chemistry between them.

At the end of high school, So-hee was working at a clothing supplier that specializes in providing non-brand clothing for entertainment companies. When Somi alerted So-hee to a junior manager position at The Black Label, she applied and was hired to help manage some of Somi's North American activities. Occassionally, when Somi would fall ill, So-hee would have to pretend to be Somi during brief appearances so they did not get black-listed in the industry.

When So-hee first found out about the opportunity to become a Produce Angel contestant, she was nervous since she had little practice being an actual idol. She'd always wanted to change from a manager to becoming an idol like Somi but The Black Label didn't want to debut So-hee since they already have Somi and know the sisters would always be compared since they're twins. Since she knows other behind-the-scenes crew members at The Black Label, she has been learning tips from some of the vocal, dance, and PR coaches.
