On the surface, Nita seems like any other run-of-the-mill "girl next door." She smiles, she bows, she speaks when spoken to, and seems to have an unlimited amount of patience for all walks of life. Her voice is always even and calm; she never raises her voice or yells at anyone, no matter what. She's helpful and wants people to be able to come to her for anything; she always has a good tidbit of information for anyone needing it. She fully believes in living life to the fullest and embracing all diversity in all forms. She's more than happy to educate people on acceptance and harmony in life.
On the other hand, Nita seems to have her own problems and personal life blocked off. She never asks for advice or help, and even when those close to her can tell she's on the verge of melting, she just gives them a smile and locks herself away in her room momentarily. She was born 85% deaf in her left ear, and with strange eyes that were the only clue as to her being born as part of a set. The complications caused her mother quite a few mental problems and she began drinking. As Nita grew up, she didn't have much of a mother figure, and her father always seemed tired. Her parents would fight, her mother would hit her father, and her father would simply try and make it all work.
Nita went to school when she was supposed to, and she learned many languages as she did so. She made friends easily enough, and no one knew by looking at her the family situation at home. It wasn't until one day, when she was about ten years old, that she came home from school to find her mother hanging from the banister in the foyer of their house. She screamed and cried in a huddled mass until her father came home from work two hours later.
After the funeral, Nita's father packed the basic nessecities for the two of them and they flew to South Korea. There, they lived with her father's parents.
PRESENT — Nita still lives with her father and her grandmother. She goes to training each day, comes home when she can and spends what quality time she can with her family.
