I cannot believe it has come to this

 

I received yet another petulant little fest on tumblr, directing me on what I should be doing with my fanfic account and calling me rude for doing friend only fics. 

I also have been continuing to receive those annoying ing comments of "update pleeeeeeease" etc. and I am so ing done right now. 

So, if people want to try and dictate to me, if people want to show me a lack of appreciation, then I will work on whatever the I want and none of you bastards will read a damn word unless I decide I want to reveal it. 

I have put a large majority of my fics back into draft, so if your precious ing stories that you JUST CANNOT SEEM TO LIVE WITHOUT are no longer available, I'm sorry. 

Sorry that I let myself get kicked and dragged through this fandom of self entitled s who are ing rude, brash, and under appreciative. 

I know I have some good readers out there too, and to THOSE readers: I truly am sorry. 

I'm sorry that these absolute bastards have ruined it for you as well as me. Perhaps if someone you know starts being an about this, you can pass on the message that people like them are forcing my hand and pushing me away from this fandom. 

I work so ing hard for this fandom. I don't ing get paid for this. I do this out of love and joy and wanting to make sure that there are fics out there for a fandom that wants them so badly. 

To have people spit in my face because of it is ing disgusting and I'm sick of being patient and polite. I'm sick of it. I'm sick of most of you. I don't like coming on here any more. 

You guys can call me selfish or over dramatic or whatever the you deem necessary, but this is the closest I have come to outright quitting and if this doesn't at least ease a little, so help me god, I will. Y completed multichaps be damned. 

So to those who nag and send terrible messages or pressure me constantly, you petulant, greedy little bastards, because now you can't read them at all.

I'm really sorry about the demands and stupid comments. People are stupid sometimes :/

You are one of my fav gtop writers, because your stories are really well writen in every aspect, enjoyable, y, funny, angsty. Simply awesome. It's always a pleasure to read something new ♡♡. Sometimes I have to wait for the next part but well it's not like I'm paying for it (sometimes paying for it doesn't help too - look at the poor fans of George Martin writing 3 to 5 years for the next book - some artists need lots of time, some need less (I'm a visual artist so I can assure you that hunger and money are great motivation for working faster). Your fics are awesome and nobody is paying for it so I don't under standard why some people dare to complain. Any kind of fanart and fanfiction is a gift for fellow fans, a proof that the creator loves something enough to get inspired and create.

I think that some of the problems appeared because kpop fandom is relatively young and used to the feeling of "owning" their idols (wich is a little bit scary sometimes). People see idols (and now you) not as real humans, but as something existing to give them pleasure. And that's a problem.

Besides, if your comment isn't nice, creative or constructive, there's no point in writing it. That's the number one comment writing rule. More people should learn that.

Keep up the good work as long as it gives you satisfaction, some of us are grateful and happy when you post them.

I'm feeling sad and frustrated that you have to go through this. All these nagging readers don't appreciate how much writers put into their stories, how much time they dedicate and treasure their writing. I really respect you and your stories are always one of a kind, have a great plot and a story like that can't be forced, you write them very elaborate and I can see how much you work for them. I hope you don't lose the passion for writing because of these kind of humans who don't appreciate you. Please care for yourself and don't think about these s anymore. I'd love to see you again but it's understandable if you don't. Please take care of you. (_ _)

I'm so ed off that you've been getting this kind of from FANDUMB. I've only seen a smidgeon of what I am sure is a constant, goddamn ing avalanche of majorly entitled arsehattery and pure WANK. I concur with what OZWALKR said. Every word.

You've shared a few things with me over the last little while that absolutely beggars belief. It's so incredibly tempting to go all Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back on these little turds (sidebar: THE SATISFACTION! Gah!) but if pulling back is what you need to do, you know I understand. I have seen some in my few years in Kpop fandom that I've never seen anywhere else. Legitimately. The sense of entitlement is something that I will never /ever/ get used to and I am no longer sitting idly by and letting it slide off. These little s are getting it right back. If you don't know how to act, you don't get anything. Additionally, if you come at people that way be prepared to get it right back only HARDER.

On a personal note, you know I adore you - well, I hope you know! :) I adore your stories and more importantly your friendship and I hope to do so for a long time coming. You deserve so much better than this and it's ing ball sacs that you've been pushed to do this by the outlandish and obnoxious braying of the selfish few. This is legitimately why we can't have nice things and it will never fail to piss me off.

LET THIS BE A LESSON TO YOU, WADS. KINDLY STEP THE DOWN.

I'm sorry with all the hates that came to you just because you didn't do what people "expect" you to do even though they haven't pay a cent. This probably is the best decision, I hope you can feel relax now, forget all those comments because there's a lot of people that appreciate your hard works.

One more deep breath in...go back to your happy place, visualize all the readers who are NOT ty sitting around the back yard BBQ sipping fruity drinks with cute little umbrellas laughing and smiling. We all deserve the drinks, for we have just finished burying the bodies of the ty readers. Oh! I forgot to have you exhale!!! EXHALE!!!! WHEW! Sorry about that!

Damn, I am furious right now, because of those crazy spoiled bastards. Don't ever want to talk bad about someone, but seriously, do they have brains? I personally think they don't.

My dear authornim, you just don't have to pay any of you attention to those ing es. Just write what you want, when you want it and it's you to decide who could read it. I think you already know we readers always love, appreciate and support you no matter what. So chill out. I hope your mood will be better soon and please don't say you're going to leave here. We all want you to stay even when you're not updating anything, cuz WE LOVE YOU!

You see every comment below? Well, they have said it all for me. I completely agree with the folks below. It is a damn dirty shame that people cannot APPRECIATE the fact that truly GOOD authors WORK DAMN HARD to produce their stories. Stories are not written at the drop of a hat. Yes, sometimes inspiration hits and a spurt of creativity can happen, but MOST of the time, doing this takes time, planning and a whole crap ton of EFFORT! I am really angry at the jerks who are treating you this way and wish I could locate them and deliver a nice sound slap to every single one. Write what YOU want, when YOU want it and don't give in to the ambulatory rectal orifices with delusions of relevancy. Take some time, and if you decide to let us appreciate you again, you know we will respond with hugs and cheers. Those of us who understand and love you wioll support whatever decision you make. I'm disappointed at those other people who can't appreciate someone that has worked so hardly on their own time and effort to get fulfill other peoples wishes and to get what- this ?? Your work is like pure gold and I'm thisssss close to putting it on an altar to worship XD but when your fics and you are compared I DONT GIVE HALF A ING FOR THE FICS . Your health , your well being , and your happiness are so much more important that trivial fics . We are here for you authornim and will wait until the end of the world for you .

Take a break , go on a trip , watch a movie marathon and chill with some ice cream . Go out with some friends and family , stay up reading fics just because you can . Do what YOUD like to do , because at the end of the day , that's all that really matters and when you deem that the ty traits of SOME of our fandom members are forgivable , come back and we'll be here <3<3<3 I hope that you'll be alright authornim , fighting ! ^3^

I'm sorry people are acting like spoiled es. It that people who write throw up crap stories often get praised and the people who take time to put out quality work get whined at for taking too long. It's really ed. I would urge you not to delete anything, but otherwise you have a right to do whatever you want, so you gotta do what is best for you. Best of luck.

The readers.

You have no right to demand something of an author. Would you want someone to treat you this way? Are you happy now? That you can say that you have upset someone so much that it ruined her day? Ruined things for a lot of us who depend on these very stories for our sanity? Our lives? Who are you to dictate to anyone how they spend their time? People have lives outside of their writing- even mainstream novelists like Stephen King and Alice Hoffman. I wonder how many letters emails and tweets they get from readers demanding- rudely- that they "update pleaaaase!"


Look, this author is brilliant and we all love her. But the best way to nurture that is not through rudeness and demands, but through love and support. Let her know how much you loved whatever story. Even a tiny reason why. BE KIND. That will get more results than just being a rude little jerk

This was intended to make you smile. I hope it worked. I really do appreciate you, your stories, your creativity and your desire to better the fandom with quality writing. As a fic writer myself (this is my alt account. My other one I barely touch for the same reason you're backing off), I understand your frustration. So feel free to ease up. I'll miss you, but your sanity is more important than my curiosity. Take care of yourself first and foremost.
