What the Gyu...um, I mean, the WORLD, needs right now!

It’s a new year, and do you know what I need? I mean, aside from the ability to not procrastinate and/or be able to finish the 4,281,989 things I currently have to finish?

Yeah, okay, and aside from my own personal Sunggyu clone to smile just like that at me 24/7?

And…um…not actually that, either…but just give me a second, will you? Mmmkay, thanks…

ANYHOW, what this year desperately needs is an Infinite acoustic album!

Heck, I wouldn’t even care if it didn’t have any new songs. We already have proof the unplugged versions of the Infinite songs we already know and love sound PHENOMENAL.

Exhibit A: Even this “penalty” version of Can You Smile? with just our lonely Myungie on the guitar is an eargasm and a half. (That little background chorus of Jjangdong laugh and Yeol fanboying are just the cherry on top of the devil’s chocolate cake that is this way-too-short acoustic version.)

Exhibit B: Wings stripped bare a.k.a. Hoya does them notes good/Sunggyu can hold a note, y’all!

Exhibit C: Lately, the WooGyu barebones version. Bonus Gyu rapping!

Exhibit D: Woohyun’s final little vocal embellishment (I don’t know the correct terminology!) at the end of Man in Love is beyond divine. And Gyu…well, he’s Gyu, and his voice is the caress of a summer breeze.

Exhibit E: All of this. Every last second of it. Have I said how much I love Bad? Enough that it’s my ringtone, meaning I’ve had those awkward moment(s) of being a middle-aged woman whose cell suddenly starts blaring, “Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad girl!” in the middle of a crowded skytrain car. Yes. That has happened. And I have no shame. Also, Love Letter and Moonlight, people. Such jams!

Bonus: No visual, but Sunggyu’s ual chocolate voice sans loud electronic music just makes every song sinfully delicious, doesn’t it? Thank goodness the song itself is longer than 60 seconds!

Well, what say you, Woollim? Think of the production costs you’d save! (She says, totally ignorant of how music mixing works.) Please, let this happen! My top three biases demand it of you!

Is it tradition that woollim always makes acoustics version for their summer concert? They know that they are good at remaking songs but have to release a instrumental album for nothing. -.-
Lately has been my all time favorite acoustic. Love it so much!
On exhibit D, what caught my first attention wasn't Namu's voice, it was Myungsoo's smooth "opening" of be mine. That was really good, made the song sounds different.
And exhibut E, I'm with you sis.
One last thing, 7 people, 7 different ways to clap. Lol.

I actually have a playlist that is full with their acoustics and acapellas that i converted into mp3 and i always listen to it. The thirst for their acoustics is soooo damn real
( i personally think that woollim is good with acoustics and acapella and what not )
