THE STRUGGLE WAS REAL

Today was the ticket selling for ExoluXion in Manila and getting the tix was not easy. My best friend and I left the house at 4:30 AM even though the mall is 10 minutes away if we had a car. It was pretty overreacting to actually leave at such time considering that the branch we're going to is pretty much secluded anyway and people barely buy there. We were worried the famous malls would have tons of people and the ticket sale is all synchronized and so no matter how secluded the mall is or how short the line is, we have to be there early to make sure we get the tix we're hoping for. My best friend and I are aiming for VIP STANDING A and we heard the VIP SEATS are nearly sold out after the pre-selling. We walked, YES. WALKED. From my house to the mall and we just talked. We got there at 4:50 and stayed across the mall for HOURS. We didn't have water and food (bad decision) and we honestly did not think things through. Lol. All that mattered for us was to get the tickets. So we waited until the mall opened. There was a Sunday mass happening so they let people in at 9:00 but the stalls are closed and the ticket booth is still also closed. At 9:45 my friend and I tried getting in and the guard told us we can't go in if it isn't for the mass. My dad, being the hero that he is, was already inside because he entered from the parking area (my best friend and I were at the main entrance) and he got us through the guard and told her that we're going to eat inside (because a few restaurants are open). We didn't really eat. We just waited for the other half of the mall to open. At 10:00 sharp the gates opened but the guard still wasn't letting us through the other half of the mall where the ticket booth is. The guard told us that the mass has to officially end first but there were people entering from the other entrance and running to the ticket booth. My dad dragged me and my best friend to the stairs and the guard didn't say anything because my dad has that "stop me and I'll break your face" look loljk he was just pissed. When we were at the ticket booth, the REAL struggle began. There were 3 customers before us, the first one is 3 girls and a mom, the second one are 3 friends and the one before us were a girl and her mom. There's only ONE teller and she's VERY SLOW. It took her forever to type! Of course that wasn't the only problem, the 3 friends were TAKING THEIR TIME TO CHOOSE SEATS and the funny thing is, the longer they take, the more seats are sold out because tickets are sold online and in other malls NATIONWIDE. My best friend muttered something about "prioritizing those who have sure seats" because the girls seemed so unprepared and they were counting their moneys across the counter and had trouble paying. The line got hold up. The teller told them that the slower they are, the more seats are sold. The girls did NOT give a about us behind them. They finally picked out seats but they had trouble with printing because of different payments or something like that. So this mom told them to "kindly step aside to give way to those who are sure of what seat they want" and the girls stepped aside. Her daughter bought two gen. ad tickets and the teller was taking her cellphone number and she literally kept typing it wrong even the mom was pissed. After her my best friend got her ticket. VIP FLOOR A was already sold out so we decided to take VIP FLOOR B. My best friend was really accurate and on point with the info to make sure it doesn't take her long. She got her ticket at 10:19. It was my turn after her and I got my ticket at exactly 10:21:15. I heard VIP tickets were sold out at 10:23. THAT. WAS. CLOSE. After that, dad took us home and we slept. Now I just woke up lol
