Jinah was born on July 17, 1996 at Changwon, Gyeongsangnam. She is the younger twin of Jeon Wonwoo by 13 Minutes. Jinah was actually hidden by her better twin. Her family loves Wonwoo more and tends to treat as if Jinah never existed. Jinah had only 1 support while growing up, and that was from her twin. Wonwoo loves Jinah a lot and would always include her in every conversations.

When Jinah first step foot in elementary school, she was again, shadowed by her twin brother. He was perfect in everything. Jinah didn't really have friends there. Jinah didn't know what to do. When Jinah turned 9, she found interest in the kpop culture and the emo culture. She would sing along to every kpop song she hears and would also style her hair the scene way.

When Jinah was 13, she found her first friend. Her name was SooYoung. Sooyoung became friends with 'The other twin'. They bonded well an when Jinah was 15, the school held a talent show and Sooyoung convinced her to participate. At first, Jinah was hesitant because her brother would also be participating. Sooyoung could careless and practicaly begged her. She knew how well, Jinah could sing. Sooyoung herself had heard Jinah singing her high notes. Her twin was supportive of course.

On the day of the talent show, Jinah was super nervous. She couldn't describe how she was literally feeling. She would go after Wonwoo, which was a scary thing because she knew Wonwoo would kill it. When it was her turn, Jinah just sang and danced. Well she got 2nd place, guess who got 1st... Wonwoo. Jinah was proud. After the whole talent show, the pledis CEO, came and scouted Wonwoo, right in front of her eyes. Jinah felt envious again.

On the way home, JYP's CEO came and scouted her. He saw potential in her and wanted her to let it all out. Jinah agreed and started her training as a JYP Trainee.

After 2 years, all agencies in Korea, came to an agreement to transfer at least 1 of their trainees. Jinah was one of them. She transferred to Woollim and they accepted her with open arms.

Jinah went and graduated from SOPA and is now currently waiting for her letter of acceptance or rejection to enroll in Kyunghee University.

Jinah is really cheerful. With just a smile, she can lighten up everyone's mood. She also has very terrible aegyos and jokes that sometimes are just, plain bad but funny. Jinah is also a very loyal friend. She would never betray her peers unlike Lee Kwangsoo of Running Man. Jinah loves playing pranks. Her partner in crime and her favourite target is the leader. Jinah takes care of her things. She is really responsible that even her report card stated that she has never missed classes or forgotten to bring her textbooks and homework. Her responsiblity has led her to have an intelligent brain. She can answer anything for you. Math questions, english. Even stuff that aren't related to school, like love and friendship and family. Jinah is really smart that she got an IQ of 148 once in high school before.

But, she is not flawless. Jinah is shy. She stutters a lot and it became a habit of hers. Jinah is also really impatient. She whines all the time even more than the maknae. Annoying the leader and manager. When on her time of month, you wouldn't want to get her mad. She has a short temper that grows when on her time of month. She would get mad over small things and would bite your head off it you eat or touch her ice cream and drink her milkshake. Jinah also has multiple personalities. No she doesn't have multiple personality disorder but she can be sad then mad then happy. Blunt is also another word to describe her. Her intelligence has got a bad side. Jinah would voice out her opinion which is a good thing but sometimes it would go a little too far. She would blurt out words that aren't supposed to be blurted.

How did they meet?

Jinah met Yoongi when she went to pay a visit at Show Champion. Her brother had their Adore U era when BTS were having their goodbye stage for "I need U". Jinah got lost because she wasn't familiar with Show Champion's Backstage. She accidently bumped into Yoongi and was literally shocked. She was a huge BTS fan since day 1. Yoongi asked if she was lost or something but Jinah was in a daze. Yoongi was confused and asked again, breaking Jinah from her thoughts. She apologised and asked for Seventeen's waiting room. Instead of telling, Yoongi volunteered to show her personally. Jinah nearly fainted. While walking there, Jinah and Yoongi talked until they reached her brother's waiting room. They exchanged contacts and started their friendship.

What is their relationship like? 

Jinah and Yoongi would act like brother and sister. Well, though Jinah wants to be more than friends. Yoongi would cheer for her and give her kisses on her forehead as good luck while Jinah would give small kisses on Yoongi's cheek for encouragement. That is how close they are.

Yoongi would also help her with composing and sometimes even give her private rapping lessons, though Jinah doesn't rap. They would also sneak out together just to go shopping. After a few months, Yoongi actually grew some feelings for Jinah.
