cheolmin is quiet tall for a boy around his age, but there are his friends that are a lot taller than him for sure. but whatever, cheolmin is satisfied with his own body. standing quiet tall at 177cm and weighing around 59kg, people around him said that he is too skinny for his own good. which cheolmin always replied with 'blame my family gen and my fast metabolism, then' because really, no matter how many food he eats, cheolmin never gain much weight, and it makes girls feel envious towards him.
with fair skin, and heart-shaped face with sharp jaws, big hooded eyes, long eyelashes, and full lips in the color of red (people around him said that his lips is the 'kissable' type of lips), cheolmin is aware that he is good-looking. it's not him being overly-confident, but it's the people around him who said so.
move onto the part of his body that he likes the most, hair. cheolmin's hair is actually black, but he dyed it into another color. at first he tried the normal color of brown, but later, because of his dearest hyung, he tried colorful colors as purple, pink, and even brown with the highlight of green. but he only dare to tried those colors in school holiday. when it comes to school, his hair is dyed in the color of brown.

let's say that cheolmin's style of fashion is mostly the same with other korean's male teenager. long coats, sweaters, hoodies, and jackets with jeans and pants and boots when it comes to autumn and winter, t-shirts and shorts and slippers when it comes to summer, and t-shirts, dress-shirts, sweaters or hoodies with jeans or pants and converse when it comes to spring. cheolmin doesn't have any particular fashion style, but when he is in his 'creative' state, he would pretend to be a designer and do 'wonders' to his own clothes (mostly his own, but he once tried with baekhyun's clothes and well, let's just said that cheolmin learn his lesson to never touch baekhyun's clothes anymore) for example, by cutting some parts of it.

let's meet the second byun of byun siblings, byun cheolmin. cheolmin is widely known for one thing; his forgetful personality. cheolmin is the type of someone who can easily forgot everything that happen in his life hours ago, not minutes, because he is not that forgetful, k. cheolmin has it hard to remembers people name, especially those he just meet for the first time. so don't feel too shocked or annoyed when you says 'hi' to him and he would just stare blankly at you, believe me, he is not trying to be rude, he just trying to remember who you are. you just need to constantly remind him about who you are everytime you meet, and hopefully, he would remember you when you stumble upon him for the sixth time. but he isn't someone in the early stage of dementia or alzheimer, not at all. he still remember his name, he still remember the way to his house (it's just because he already get used with it for years, when he just move in, he once went into other neighbourhood instead of his, that's why his mom always make sure that there is someone with him when he went outside) he only forget those things he isn't used too, for example people names and also when his teacher teach him something new.

byun cheolmin was born on october 31th, 1997 as the second child, and also son, of the pair byun daeyeol and kwon ahyoung. as the youngest child of the byun family that time, cheolmin is spoiled a lot and his older brother even treat him lovingly too, but maybe it's just because baekhyun is still a child and he doesn't know how to be sassy and dramatic. cheolmin feels happy because of the attention given to him, but everything changed when there comes the newest addition of the byun family, cheolmin's younger brother, byun jihoon. all the attention diverted from him to jihoon, and he feels envious of jihoon at first, but then he realize to be a good brother not an bad one like baekhyun and he decide to take care of jihoon too, and bury all his envious feelings deep inside his heart.
there is a phase in cheolmin's life where his parents are too focused on his older and younger brother instead of him, with the way they go all 'aigoo my oldest son is so smart, look at his achievement!' to baekhyun and 'aigoo my youngest son is so cute and he grows up so well!' to jihoon. it makes cheolmin feels sad, if not frustated, because sure, he is not as smart as baekhyun and sure, he is not as cute as jihoon but at least he is a good child. can he get a compliment for being a good child to his parents? all his parents ever done to him is just patting his back when he receive his report card, telling him to work harder. it makes cheolmin really sad to the point that he is rarely home and spent his time at woojae's instead. being a middle child is surely hard, that's what cheolmin always think about that time. the oldest has the 'hey i'm the oldest!' privilage and the youngest has the 'i'm the youngest!' privilage, but there's no such thing as the middle child privilage.
it takes months for cheolmin to finally think that he has enough and to confront his parents about this. okay, call him selfish and all because afterall, his parents already raised him with so much love, even maybe not as big as the love they give to his brothers. but still, he doesn't want to live like this forever. when he finally confront them about this, he feels surprised when he sees his parents looks so sad and guilty. heck, his mom even cry. they said they don't even realize that they treat cheolmin like that, and his dad said that he think cheolmin is always okay because he always has a smile plastered on his face. unlike baekhyun and jihoon who can't hide their feeling so well and always ended up with grumpy mood (for baekhyun) and a sad look on his face (for jihoon) that makes his parents always pay more attention to them. they apologize, and they promise to pay attention to their child equally from now on. and well, they really do, but cheolmin can't help but notice that, well, his parents is still the same afterall, and they still pay more attention towards his older and younger brother. but whatever, at least cheolmin knows that they don't mean to do that. his life went normal after that, with no problems, well at least not a really big ones.

CURRENT LIFESTYLE:
cheolmin always wake up at 8am in school days, and at whatever time he wants in weekends and holidays. he goes to school by bus, and he goes home with bus too. at school, cheolmin doesn't think of himself as a smart student, but he doesn't think of himself as the dumb too. well, no one would admit if they are dumb, right? cheolmin rather think of himself as the average student, with good scores in physical education and arts, bad scores in history (sorry but cheolmin's memory is not as great as those geniuses out there who can remember all those years and all those names) or the subjects who need a good memory in general, and average scores in other subjects. afterschool, cheolmin always hang out with woojae and kwangjae before he goes home. they either spend time in their usual cafe near school, or at woojae's or kyungjae's house (no cheolmin's because cheolmin doesn't want his friend to meet jihoon, who knows what dirty things they'll said to his precious younger brother) but actually, they went to kyungjae's house most of the time due to cheolmin's request. oh and no co-curriculum activities because well, cheolmin is too lazy for that even though both woojae and kyungjae tried to persuade him to join them in the dance club.
REASON the reason why cheolmin and baekhyun look-alike meanwhile jihoon doesn't look like them is because cheolmin and baekhyun look likes their mother while jihoon look likes their father.
CAN'T LIFE WITHOUT IT cheolmin has this one notebook that he always bring everywhere he goes. the notebook contains reminders, for example, the the due date of a project he is working on, the plans he already made with his friends, the promise to his mother that he will go to the convenience store after school along with the lists of the things he should buy. to put it simply, it contains everything that cheolmin should remember and he shouldn't forget. if cheolmin lose this notebook, his life is over.

well, their story start with the way cheolmin falls in love with kyunghee in the first sight. he thought that she is so pretty, to the point that she always call her 'goddess'. since he falls for her in the first sight, he always tries to meet her everyday by going to kyungjae's house after school, but of course cheolmin wouldn't say out right that he wants to meet kyunghee, instead, he will just say that he wants to play kyungjae's ps4. cheolmin always becomes shy when he meets kyunghee, and he always tried to act 'mature' and 'manly', because well, isn't usually girls like guys who is mature and manly? but for sure, cheolmin always act different when he is in front of kyunghee. both woojae and kyungjae notice that, but kyungjae, being the dumb ones, thinks that it is nothing and it is just cheolmin being weird. while woojae, well, he knows right away that cheolmin must like kyunghee in 'that' way.
cheolmin tried so hard to make kyunghee think about him more than just a little brother, for example, by helping her to bring her heavy bags, her heavy books, and just try to help kyunghee with everything in general. but it results to nothing because well, kyunghee just, he already think of cheolmin as her own younger brother, and that wouldn't change. she would pat and ruffles cheolmin's head like what she does to woojae and kyungjae, he would talk in a 'cute' voice, the voice you usually use for kids, to cheolmin, just like what she does to woojae and kyungjae. cheolmin gets really frustated because of it, but he wouldn't give up because well, kyunghee is his first love. the first girl he really loves. let's just forget about cheolmin's first gf in elementary school because cheolmin doesn't really 'love' her.
ENDING:
after months of trying to make kyunghee think of him as someone more than just a little brother, cheolmin feels tired because any of his efforts doesn't work. so then he decide to just confess his feelings to kyunghee, and of course he reach that decision without thinking much. when he is on his way to kyungjae's house to meet kyunghee, he then sees kyunghee in a cafe not too far away from her house. he then decides to approach kyunghee because why not? it would be better if he confess to her in a cafe instead of her house. but then he froze mid-way when he sees that kyunghee is not alone, he is with someone else. and that someone is a guy, and they even holding hands under the table. cheolmin knows right away that they must be something 'more' than friends because well, is there any friends who hold hands like that? but cheolmin doesn't want to jump into conclusion, and he even tried to think of them as friends, even though the chance of them being just friends is really small.
