hana is the social chair of kdg, and she got that position not for nothing. she is one of the most sociable girls in the sorority, the type who is never too shy to approach new people and make friends with them. she always has topics in mind, ready to talk them out whenever the conversation gets awkward. this is why she got so many friends around the university, whether those who involved in the greek life or not. many of her friends said that she is a ray of sunshine, always view the world with so much positivity, and that one friend who always manage to cheer her friends up. as a college student and the social chair of kdg, hana is very responsible, always manage to do her tasks flawlessly, the result of doing her best. she is someone who can be counted on, and almost never disappoints in everything she does. other than being sociable, hana is chosen as the social chair because she is analytical, always has the best judgement and always manage to respond quickly to any situations possible.

BACKGROUND

hana was born as the only child of the pair ji cheolsoo and lee chaeri, with her father being a very famous motivational speakers in south korea, always went from one tv show to the other, releasing books after books, while her mother works as a financial analyst in a bank. both of them are busy with their job, hana's father rarely went home, while her mother would always come home late, but at least she is still there. this makes hana a lot closer to her mother rather than her father, as she saw her father more often in tv than in real life.

the relationship of her parents has grown to be a very cold relationship, her mother is tired of feeling like she has no husband, and hana's father basically had no love left for his wife. it leads them to signing a divorce paper when hana was seven, and hana only live with her mother since then.

four years passed, before her mother finally found another man, a man with the name of lee minjae, and hana could see from his eyes that he sincerely loved her mother, so she agreed on their marriage, and also agree to change her name legally from ji hana to lee hana. minjae already has a son, one year older than hana, with the name of lee taeyong. their relationship is awkward at first, especially with how quiet taeyong is with new people, but with hana's social skill, they manage to get as close as siblings who spend their lifetime together in the span of three months.

hana's school life is quiet normal, always manage to be one of the most popular students among fellow students and teachers because of her sociable personality and also her hardwork in every subjects. when the time came for her to attend college, her first choice went out to hyeongsin university, besides of the fact that taeyong also went there, it's also because of their reputation as the first college to applied the greek life into their system. joining a sorority is hana's dream since the first time she heard about it, and when she stumbles upon kdg, she feels like she just found another home.

one. as the life of the party, hana always manage to come up with the best games to play in a party, or the best songs to dance along to. in parties, she would mostly found socializing, talking with different groups of people. in another times, she could be found on the dance floor, dancing like no one watching.
two. hana could handle alcohol pretty well, not even tipsy for the slightest bit after her sixth glass of beer. she is one of those people who could still think clearly in the end of a party, and it's much needed because she is the one responsible to clean up all the mess people left after the party ended.

ahreum is a bit harder to approach than nayeon, but it's not hana if she doesn't succeed on getting closer with the vice pres of kdg. hana really loves to compliment ahreum with the word 'cute', especially when ahreum's forgetful habit starts to show up. hana, the ever so kindly hana, always help ahreum to remember the things she forgot, and she even wrote down ahreum's schedule in case the girl forgot. this makes hana into one of ahreum's favorite member despite not being her little, thus the frequent skinships between them. hana is the one ahreum sleep on the most, and it's not rarities for them to being seen hugging each other.

ten met hana and dawon in their first year of middle school, ten looking very pitiful with his shaky eyes and broken korean, as he had only learn korean for three months prior moving to korea from thailand. hana took liking of ten almost immediately, as they communicate to each other in limited english. hana is ten's korean teacher when it comes to informal words, with the help of dawon. the three of them become very close because of that, and as ten's korean ability grew to be better, he starts to let out his real personality, the sweet, carefree, humorous, and a little bit sassy ten. it turns out that hana's personality and ten's real one fit so perfectly, there is almost a chaos everytime they meet, loud laughter could always be heard, while dawon is the one who would pretend like she doesn't know both of them, the calming air between them. ten is the one hana would come to whenever she wants to have fun, whenever she wants to laugh. he is the one who could help hana to forget about her problems by his funny acts, by his sassy comments, by the sunshine radiating from him. both of them hold the same position aka the social chair, so they often discuss about parties together, and often hold a meet up between social chairs of all fraternities and sororities, and that's why hana manage to be in a good relationship with almost all social chairs.

sorority life : as the social chair of kdg, hana lives in the sorority house, in a room for two. she has a roommate, which is also one of the exec board member of kdg, and she gets along with her roommate pretty well, as her roommate is very understanding and never interrupt her when she is planning party. hana pretty much enjoy the position she hold in kdg, as she always put on a proud smile whenever her position is mentioned. hana enjoys the perks that come with being a social chair, as in meeting tons of hot guys, having the says in everything related to parties, etc. even though she sometimes feel pressured over the expectation and her responsibilities to make sure that everyone have a great time, hana never once regret being a social chair.

daily routine : every morning, hana would wake up at seven am sharp, only to jog around the sorority complex for thirty minutes. she does this everyday, as her effort to improve her stamina and also a form of work out. when she's done, she would prepare herself to go to classes. basketball practice took time in the afternoon, thrice a week. when she's done with her regular activities, as the responsible social chair she is, she would spent most of her time planning parties, or hanging out with the frat boys so they would come to kdg's party, and also because they know the best drinks in town. she is one of the kdg's members that always got invited to every party, so it's not weird for her to went to a party every weekends. despite being the life of the party, hana never forgets about her most important job as a student: which is to study, and to get the best scores possible. hana always spend one to two hours everyday to study, and manage to keep her gpa above average.

the rarities : when she is completely free, without her responsibilities as the social chair or as a student, which is rare, hana would spend most of her time with ten and dawon, or do some siblings bonding time with taeyong, or just hanging out with her sorority sisters. sometimes, when she is not in the mood, she would use her free time to sleep, locking herself inside her room for the whole day.

yukkuri a nickname given by taeyong, and now used by mostly all people who is close with him. in japanese, yukkuri means slowly. taeyong gave yuta this nickname because of his hobby to rushed out things, to act without thinking about it first, and also because it's cute. yuta used to hate this nickname, but he is weak for his bestfriend, especially after hana starts to call him with this nickname too.
bakamoto a nickname given by hana when they are still dating each other. it's a combination of the word baka which means stupid and yuta's surname nakamoto. taeyong and ten used to call yuta with this name too sometimes, but now that yuta and hana are no longer in a relationship, no one's dare to call yuta by this nickname. because yuta hates the memories that came with it.

nakamoto yuta is a japanese born who moved to seoul due to his father's job, and he basically always clings to taeyong because taeyong is his first seatmate in his first day of highschool. and he often went to taeyong's house because of this, and there's where hana met yuta for the first time.

when taeyong first brought yuta home, he thought that his sociable little sister would start to act very friendly towards his bestfriend, just like she usually does, but then as yuta made his first step into the lee's household, taeyong saw it with his two eyes, how hana frozen still when yuta greet her with his blinding smile, the so called healing smile that make many girls fall for him. taeyong never thought that his little sister would be one of the victims too. and when hana, who usually confident when it comes to socializing, shyly smile back at yuta with a red hue on her cheeks, taeyong know that he is doomed. his little sister just fall for yuta, his idiot bestfriend who is very oblivious of the feelings of others.

ever since the first visit of yuta in the lee's household, taeyong had tried his best not to let a second visit, but yuta is very stubborn and he always have to get what he wants. thus, taeyong can't really hold him back from visiting his house for the second time. then it became a habit for yuta, to visits taeyong's house at least once a week, as he even said that taeyong's house is his second house. with the frequent visit, it can't be helped that yuta and hana ended up being close to each other, as taeyong could only watch in despair as how he saw his little sister fall even more to the still oblivious yuta. he tried to talk to hana, but she got mad at him instead, saying things like she could manage her feelings on her own, and even went as far as ignoring him for the whole week. taeyong gave up, and he could only wish that yuta won't hurt his little sister.

when hana enrolled in the same highschool as taeyong, which means that she is also in the same school as yuta, yuta can't feel happier. yuta had seen hana as his own little sister, even went as far as saying that they're destined to be together because they share the same birthdate albeit different year, a statement who have a really great effect on hana, despite yuta's obliviousness over it. as hana becomes his underclassmen in highschool, yuta often visit hana in her class, ask her to eat together with him and taeyong during lunch, and secretly looking at her whenever she has physical education class in the field, which located near yuta's class, just because she likes seeing her being so carefree around her friends, a sight he never saw before because before this, he only ever saw hana in her house, dressed in comfortable clothes, looking really cute and innocent, that yuta thought of her as a baby, not as someone who is younger than him only by one year.

they date then, even though yuta have to bear an hour of a protective taeyong who told him the do's and dont's of dating his little sister, and what yuta would face if he ever dare to hurt hana, both physically and emotionally. hana knows that it's just taeyong's way to express his love towards her, and she also knows that her older brother is actually very happy for both of them. they become one of the sweetest pair in school, the one deemed to be one of those highschool sweethearts, with the way they act so disgustingly sweet (according to taeyong) to each other. it's as clear as day how both of them like each other so much, and they soon become everyone's favorite couple.

yuta was in the last months of his third year in highschool, with the upcoming college entrance exams which made he feel so stressed out. this affect his relationship with hana, as he becomes more sensitive and easy to offend. they got into fight almost everyday, and they went as far as ignoring each other for a whole two weeks. hana tried to understand yuta, she really did, but who wouldn't feel tired when you've been lashed out at almost everyday? they're slowly drifting away, not being as close and sweet as they were before, as hana decide to give yuta time. she decide to leave yuta alone, to cool off his mind, and she could only wish that yuta would go back to normal soon.

except he didn't. it was a week before the college entrance exam, and yuta called her, only to said that he can't do this anymore, with this being their relationship. yuta had decide to give up, just because he is very stressed out because of his future, just because he didn't think about his decision thoroughly. just like that, he broke hana's heart.

and after the college entrance exam was over, after taeyong punched him hard on his face, yuta regrets his decision. and he still regrets it, even when it has been nearly three years since then.

yuta is taeyong's bestfriend still, even though taeyong had put yuta under a hard time for six months before he warms up to him again. while hana, she enrolled in the same college, despite having her ex-boyfriend there. they never communicate again ever since yuta's last phone call, taeyong would never let yuta visit his house anymore, and it's not like yuta wants to. when they meet again after one year being apart, they can't help but to feel awkward around each other. hana would immediately fleed away whenever she saw yuta around, and when she couldn't fleed on time, she would pretend like she didn't know yuta, that yuta is just her older brother's bestfriend and nothing more. hana would tried her best to avoid yuta like a plague, yet yuta can't help but to search for hana in the crowd. he won't admit it out loud, but he miss the younger so bad. he just wants to approach her, to hug her like he used to do back then when he hasn't ed up.

despite her effort in avoiding yuta, hana knows it deeply in her heart that she still likes yuta the same. and yuta, of course he still likes hana. the regrets says it all. it would need a long time, yuta would need to beg for hana's forgiveness first, but in the end of the day, they might found themselves in each other arms again, just like how they always did a few years ago.

one. hana might avoid yuta and pretends like she doesn't know him, but she actually always ask about yuta's well-being to taeyong. and yuta, also does the same.
two. both of them support each other secretly, hana always updated about the result of yuta's match, while yuta would never missed out a game where hana plays.
three. whenever hana needs to talk to yuta about some sorority-fraternity issues (because yuta is sigma tau's philanthropy), hana would always sent her message through taeyong, or through a very stiff and formal text message. which is quiet adorable, in yuta's eyes.
four. they always secretly taking care of each other, the example being hana who gave taeyong a bottle of water so he could give it to yuta after his practice session, and she begs her older brother not to tell yuta that it was from her. the other example is how yuta always attend every parties that hana attends, and he always stays up late there, to watch her from a far, afraid that someone might do something terrible to her.
five. despite hana's attempt on avoiding yuta, the japanese man always ended up being around her someway. maybe it's because he is taeyong's bestfriend. and also because he's one of ahreum's closest friend. but all in all, hana knows that she can't avoid yuta forever.
