two posters, one base

Okay, so I know this is kind of old, but I came across this while looking through my minus. So a while back I did a collaboration with Jackharries in which I created the base and she basically finished it off. While waiting for her to do her part of the collaboration, I finished the whole poster by myself and I was impressed with how the two posters came out in comparison to one another.

So although the two posters aren't totally different, you can see where our styles differ. I had no idea blending was her weakness xD

This kind of thing happened with elsacee as well a while back where while she was waiting for my part, she completed her own version and I love both of them. (apparently I like using the word silence)

I feel like this should be a thing in graphic contests and graphic challenges or just for fun, not only collabs. I think it would be interesting to see how two or more different designers take the same base and add their own style, do their own thing with it and put them side by side, line them up and compare and appreciate their similarities and differences.

And if this a thing already and I just don't know about it then excuse me. I wasn't invited .___.

if not, somebody please make a thread for this. I swear I will participate and comment every chapter.

it's not really a thing on aff, but i have seen it done before on soompi.
it's so much fun... they call it... i don't think i know the style, but another one is where gfx designers would take a part of the previous designer's work and incorporate into their work and so on. that one is called a mural.
it's pretty cool actually.
also great job on both gfx and the other two. i love seeing these type of things, but it's rare seeing it now since soompi isn't as active as it used to be.
