MIMI — A nickname that everyone calls her, just a small play on her name.
yoyo — The main rapper calls her this because she was once trying to play with a yoyo and smacked herself right in the face. Needless to say it's something that none of the members, especially the main rapper, let her live it down.
puppy — The other members call her this because of her loyal behavior and is always sticking faithfully to another person.
Yoon/yoonie — Another simple nickname that her family mostly uses to address her since Mimi is what mostly her friends call her.
almost christmas baby — What her family calls her. It comes up more when it's closer to Christmas.
robot — What the members call her from time to time because of her lack of emotions, poking some fun at it.

appearance

— This is me

face claim — twice mina
back up — Baek Sumin

height — 5'5
weight — 126

Medium length light brown hair, round face, mismatched oval eyes, and a small mouth Yoonmi is often described as cute and nothing more, and it bothers her to no end. She doesn't want to be thought of as just cute, little kids are cute, she wants to be seen as something more. However no matter what she does to change up her appearance that's all the comments she ever gets and it hangs over her head like a dark cloud. Her thin 5'5 body with no curves doesn't help her case at all. She doesn't wear a lot of make up besides the usual fountation and an extra dose of eyeliner, she likes to keep her hair simply done, though she will curl it from time to time just to change it up for something different. She just has two piercings in her left and right ear, nothing too crazy or wild. She has a thing for nail art and enjoys doing her own as well as the other members if they're willing to sit through hours.

fashion style

— Because I dress the best

Yoonmi's style is very minimalistic and simple. She doesn't care for anything with super bright colors or too revealing. Nice shirts matched with pants or shorts, and the occassional skirt here and there are her go to's. Seriously her closet is full of them, sometimes even having the same shirt or shorts just in a different color because she liked them so much. She enjoys lighter most pastel colors when it comes to what she wears, although if it really speaks to her she'll go with a darker or brighter color. When it comes to being at the dorm she is a firm believer of comfort before style. Her pajamas consist of an old baggy t-shirt and shorts. Her formal wear is very similar to her day to day wear, simple, not to bright, but still completely elegant. Something flowy that makes her feel like she's floating along the ground. As for airport fashion she'll bump up her normal style just a few notches.

personality

— I know who I am...Or do I?
Positive: Loyal, Kind, Calm, Dedicated
Neutral: Clumsy, Quiet, Experimental
Negative: Colorless, Graceless, Mechanical, Submissive

"If they stand by you during the bad times they deserve to be there during the good times." Yoonmi is probably the most loyal person you have ever met in your life. No matter how bad the situation is or how badly you messed up she doesn't care and will back you up without so much as a small story, no questions asked and no shred of doubt on her face. Many compare her to that of a dog because she's completely unconditional about her loyalty even saying that she's going to get herself into trouble for not questioning people enough, but she doesn't listen to any of them. Yoonmi is very kind. If someone needs help she won't hesitate to do so to the best that she can. She's known to go above and beyond if it means that others are going to be happy. Although sometimes it doesn't outwardly come forth as kindness her actions speak louder than words.

"Hey now, let's just settle down and think about this." This girl is as cool as a cucumber, seriously nothing gets to her and she always keeps a calm demanour every where she goes. She's the calm amongst the storm around her friends and family and is the one who dissolves conflict when it arrises. Many have a hard time thinking that she actually has emotions since she lets anyone know whether she's feeling sad or upset, frustrated keeping it all to herself so she sometimes come across as having no emotions. Yoonmi is dedicated almost to a fault, she will not stop until she's done what she's meant to do and in a way that's it's supposed to be done. But she's also very decidated to her family doing what she can to make sure that they're doing alright.

"I didn't fall the floor just needed a hug." Yoonmi is clumsy, like really clumsy. She's always running into walls or dropping things in her hands, knocking things over she is a walking disaster. She'll try really hard to keep a tight reign on it, but there are times when it just comes out full force like a torando through the countryside. Even so she doesn't let that stop her and is really experimental constantly on the lookout for trying something new, from a new zumba class to a new smoothie that may or may not smell like somebody's front yard and taste like it too, Yoonmi is willing to step out of her comfort zone just to prove to others that she's not as boring and dull as they think she is. She's also more on the quiet side of life not one who talks as much as others, unless you get her talking about something she's really passionate about or loves doing, not really one to speak up but supports in the back.

"Wait, you think I'm boring?" Now this might sound a bit harsh but Yoonmi can be considered pretty colorless and extremely boring. If you're not looking for her you probably won't find her as she blends into the background perfectly. Besides her loyality to others she doesn't really have many other redeeming qualities that make her stand out away from the pack. All of her other friends have bigger and more loud personalities making her shrink back more and more into the background. She's also really graceless and doesn't really have that much charm when it comes to talking to people. Yoonmi is extremely awkward around new people, making a complete fool out of herself half the time and embarrassing the hell out of herself and the person she was meeting, making her want to do nothing more than hide under a rock and never come out.

"Somewhere between emotional and emotionless." Yoonmi is described by some as mechanical and detached since she doesn't show her emotions to other people always keeping them hidden from others. She often gets lectured or accussed of not being human or that she doesn't truly trust the person because she refuses to share what she's feeling, something you do when you're close enough to someone. But no matter what she'll just smile and shake her head at the questions and accusations saying it's nothing serious and they shouldn't worry about her own issues, thinking she's helping when in reality she's only making them think she doesn't trust them. Yoonmi is also extremely submissive and gives into others easily. Even though she's considered the peacemaker and is pretty convincing when she wants to be, if someone continues to press into her she will back down and let them do what they want, just staying by to help out the best she could by keeping the fighting to a minimum.

background

— We all got here somehow

Baek Yoonmi was born into a busy family in the city of Daegu as the second child having an older sister and two workaholic parents. They weren't really around when she was growing up so it was her older sister Minah, who took care of her despite being rather young herself. From making her lunch to walking her to and from school even letting her hang out with her friends, she had become Yoonmi's second mom almost. Although her sister had given her a lot of attention because of Minah's constant accomplishments she was kind of shoved into the background, and she just continued to stay back there. Nothing she did got the attention of her parents and she was covered in her sister's shadow. It only got worse when her mother had another child, her younger sister Hwayoung, who commanded attention even as a baby, and she was shoved into the background even further. She didn't really have any special talents nor was she an honor student, no it seemed that Yoonmi was going to forever be stuck in the middle and be unnoticed.

It wasn't until Yoonmi had started middle school when she started coming out of her shell bit by bit, going to hang out with friends, and that's when she was practically dragged into the kpop world. Literally Myundae is a huge fan and dragged her into the nearest kpop store so he could pick up the latest girl's generation cd and poster. However she became interested in the industry and soon enough was a fan of many groups. She didn't really think about becoming an idol, since she didn't have much of a talent for anything, and was just enjoying the music, until she was sat down at the table with her family and they were all talking amongst one another about Minah's accomplishment with school how she was going to school to be a doctor, and Hwayoung was talking about wanting to start guitar lessons. The conversation was just full of what they're doing or what they're going to start to do, and it really made Yoonmi start to think. She didn't have any plans for when she was done with high school, or even a thought of what she was good at. It really bothered her and nothing she did made it look any better. Talking to her friends about it didn't seem like a good idea either so she just continued to suffer through this on her own.

It was during a family trip in Seoul, when she was in highschool, that she got her flash of inspiration through sheer luck. She saw an advertisement for a new company looking for trainees, and though she wasn't confident Yoonmi knew she wasn't going to get a chance like this again. She asked Minah to cover for her, which meant she owed her sister big time, and disappeared into the crowd navigating her way to the company. It took her a while to find it, being in a different city and not having the best sense of direction, but she eventually found it and walked in. Of course she was super nervous, even messing up her own introduction when she met the CEO. Yoonmi was embarrassed by saying that she didn't have much talent in singing or dancing but still felt like it'd be good to at least try since she didn't have a plan for her future. She didn't expect to get the chance but was accepted as a trainee, despite not having any talent or previous training. Her parents didn't agree with her decision since they were still hoping that she would follow the path her sister had chosen, and it took several months of arguements and convincing before they even let her  go to the company.

Yoonmi was sixteen when she finally moved to Seoul to be closer to the company, working at a bookstore to help pay for her small one room apartment. Through the three years that she was at UouO Media, she worked the hardest through all of her training, and though it was a bit lonely with her being the only trainee for a couple of those years, she still did her best for the CEO who never gave up on her despite hardly being able to sing and her dancing was downright sad. Eventually Yoonmi started improving, even becoming good enough to be considered a lead vocalist and lead dancer, her rapping was even pretty good, though not that great. It was during her third year that she started getting invitations from other companies, but it didn't matter if it was a small company or one of the big three, Yoonmi respectfully declined each and every one of them because she considered UouO her home and they were the ones who helped transform her into what she is now.

family

— Because you just love them no matter how much they

father — Baek Yongsun // 63 // Vice President of a Technology Company // Ambitious, Workaholic, Calculating, Cold // Yongsun wasn't really around when Yoonmi was growing up, and so they aren't very close. The only time they really talk to one another is when he's asking what she wants to do with her life and to work harder in school.

mother — Baek Eunkyung // 61 // Manager of an International Hotel // Calm, Charming, Blunt, Harsh // Honestly she really isn't all that close to her mother either, along they do get along better than she does with her dad.

older sister
— Baek Minah // 27 // Medical Student/ Interning at a Hospital // Hardworking, Independant, Conceited, Impractical  // Despite the 8 year age difference Minah and Yoonmi are extremely close, but that was because Minah took care of Yoonmi and always let her be around her friends, no matter how annoying it was. She's the only one who actually believes in Yoonmi and thinks that she'll do great in the entertainment industry. Even though her older sister is busy with her studies and work she still has time to be Yoonmi's support always letting her know that she's there for her.

younger sister
— Baek Hwayoung // 16 // Student // Outgoing, Loud, Selfish, Happy-go-lucky // Hwayoung and Yoonmi might as well be on two different planets they're so different, but that didn't stop them from getting along. Hwayoung started getting along with Yoonmi better when she was trying to convince their parents to let her go to Seoul and become a trainee, it was really the first time she saw her sister talk back to their parents and do something she wanted, and she was impressed that she actually did it. Hwayoung often comes to Seoul to visit her sister also offering support through what she calls constructive critism, though half the time it just sounds like insults.

friends

— The family we chose to be related to

First Member of the Three Musketeers — Jung Myundae // 19 // Student // Funloving, Dramatic, Unrealistic, Trustworthy // Myundae, Hyunae, and Yoonmi have been friends since middle school and over time their bond has just become stronger with each passing day. Myundae was the one who got her interested in Kpop. He always asks for autographs of his basis's not minding when Yoonmi tells him no and asks again when they meet up every so often. He's super supportive and kind always willing to help her though he makes a huge deal out of it from time to time.

Third member of the three musketeers — Kim Hyunae // 19 // Student // Rigid, Paranoid, Kind, Responsible // Hyunae and Yoonmi got along great since their personalities match up really well with one another. Though Hyunae is always worrying about her friend, demanding she sends texts when she gets home after practice, sometimes going to the extreme Yoonmi doesn't mind because she knows her friend only has the best intentions. She wishes that Myundae and Hyunae would come up to Seoul and visit when they all have the time since she misses them both dearly.

coworker friend — Lee Choonhee // 24 // Bookstore Worker // Loves People, Realiabe, Obnoxious, Nosy // Yoonmi considers Choonhee as another older sister, when she was working at the bookstore it was Choonhee who took care of her and showed her the ropes. She also drops off food at her apartment so that she'll eat a good homecooked meal instead of the fast food that Yoonmi had been living off of before. Even now with her staying in the dorm Choonhee makes enough so all the girls can eat.

wHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO BESIDES BECOME AN IDOL? — /blushes/ I would either want to write novesl or work and eventually own my own nail salon. oh sehun

— got 7 mark

— 21

— idol/Exo

personality —
Positive: Intelligent, Considerate, Adaptable
Neutral: Quiet, Simple
Negative: Mischevious, Emotionless, Cold

Although he doesn't show it, Sehun is extremely intelligent. Seriously he's about as smart as they come and is very clever. He always has an answer no matter the question, though sometimes you don't want to know what he's going to say. He is also pretty considerate to those he's close to. Though from time to time his consideration is hard to see and you have to question if he's doing it for you or for himself you can't deny that he's doing something kind for another person. Sehun has an easy time adapting to his surroundings. He takes everything in and doesn't let his emotions get the best of him, trying to stay positive no matter how bad the situation seems at first. He's also very quiet, he doesn't talk much to those he's close to and even less to those he doesn't know, but tries to not come across as rude or ungrateful because of his lack of talking. Sehun is extremely simple, he doesn't like things that are too extravagent or out there, liking things more on the calm and easy side.

To his closest friends Sehun is about as michevious as they come. If there's a way to embarrass you beyond belief he'll jump at the chance and bring up all the stories he knows that will end up with his companion trying to hide under the table from their extreme embarrassment. He'll also buy gag gifts for all occassions saying he bought them with the person in thought and the gift is a travel size bottle of mouth wash. On the outside people would describe Sehun as emotionless. He doesn't show his emotions to anybody unless he held it in too long and he couldn't hide it anymore. Most of the time he will just stare out a window or focus on his phone is serious talks start happening around him since he doesn't want to be included. Because of this he's seen as being extremely cold and heartless, therefore not having very many friends in the entertainment industry.

relationship — After a few ups and downs from their first meeting Yoonmi and Sehun actually learned that they have a lot in common and their personalities are a good match for one another. There's not a lot of talking that goes on when these two are around, making things a bit awkward somtimes, but they find a way to become close. They'll usuall end up playing a game on someone's phone finding that an easier way to communicate than actually open up and talk about their feelings. Their text messages consist mainly of emojis going back and forth to see who could get the last one sent before going to bed. They don't meet up often because Yoonmi doesn't want to come off as annoying or cause trouble if someone saw them together and only ever talk or see one another when they're at a music show and she's dragged to their room to go see him.

Sehun smirks a bit when he made a move and was now beating Yoonmi at a game of checkers on his phone. "Ha. I looks like I'm going to win again."
Yoonmi pouts slightly as she tried to make up for her previous mistake though it wasn't going very well. "You know I at checkers, so it won't count as a real win."
"My phone my choice."
".....You know I offered my phone since you're battery is almost dead."
"Yeah and then I wouldn't have been able to pick the game or kick your in checkers." He smirks fully when Yoonmi walked into his trap and he won the game.
"I hate you."

history — Yoonmi and Sehun didn't meet until after Warden had debuted and they were waiting backstage for their turn to perform, and exo was coming down the stairs where they were waiting, the two groups greeted each other politely and went on their own way not making any other conversation. It wasn't until much later that night when Yoonmi had went out to a convience store to pick up more of her coffee milk that she ran out of that she met Sehun for real. Recongizing him right away she did what she thought was the polite thing to do and greeted him.

"Hello." She mumbles out as she bows to him.
Sehun blinks at the sudden voice having not noticed the girl before and nods his head, looking slightly confused and on edge. "Hello."
Yoonmi blinks a little disappointed that he didn't seem to recongize her but didn't blame him and just grabs her coffee milk before bowing again and leaving to pay for her milk. "It was nice seeing you again."
Sehun looks even more confused as she left tilting his head. "Again?"

other — Sehun and Yoonmi don't have any nicknames for each other, Sehun finding it too cliche and Yoonmi being too embarrassed to call him anything other than his name. They're strangers when Warden first debuts only getting closer after the date and then are good friends. Sehun doesn't really realize his feelings for her, and so for the longest time it's an unrequited crush on Yoonmi's end. And even when they decide to date they don't act too much differently besides being closer and show a bit more skinship than normal. Their first date is at a cafe where he gets bubble tea and she gets her usual coffee milk, and talk about really nothing in particular just trying to overcome the awkward atmosphere.
