Byeol was first spotted in the underground rap scene and was scouted by big hit. she auditioned for the company soon after in late 2013 and has been an active player in big hit since then. majoring in music theory and composition it's said that she'll be the one writing a lot of white's Music.

ELABORATION Haebyeol is a girl who is dedicated to the path that she's chosed and will do everything in her power to make sure that it's a success. However as surprising as it may be she's anxious and catious when it comes to some of the decisions she's made and often obsesses over them wondering if they were indeed the right choice. She comes across as coarse and hard to approach with her being rigid and slightly insensitive, but she's loyal to those close to her and will do whatever she can for those people. it's easy to see that haebyeol is taking everything so seriously by how much work she puts into it, and although she is prideful she knows when she needs help and will let go of that pride if it means that she'll have a better chance of succeeding. so although she is distant and hard to speak to no one questions her dedication.
BACKGROUND Lee haebyeol was born and raised in busan south korea with her parents and older brother Hyungseok. ever since she was little she had always loved music, and her mother had allowed her to take many different lessons just for music, so long as she promised to keep her grades up in school. Piano, violin, guitar, and clarinet were many of the ones that she had stuck with even through high school, winning quite a few piano competitions in the meantime. while in high school she had started to experiment in composing her own music. During high school was also when she had started to dabble in hip hop and discovered another love, rap. It was a new way to express herself freely that she didn't know that she could do before. it was liberating in a sense that haebyeol had lived for and relished in. When she graduated high school she had decided to major in music theory and composition and moved to seoul on her own to pursue her it.
It was during this time that she had learned exactly what the underground rap scene was, and she fell even deeper in love with it. she had always heard rumors about it and the stories from people but it was different being there. haebyeol loved how free and unrestrained everything was but also that there was meaning to what was being stated and that it wasn't just all fun and games. the messages were inspiring and just being there was giving her all kinds of inspiration with her own music, but eventually she got tired of watching from the sidelines and started to partipate in the rap battles. Granted at first she wasn't the best, but with more research and practice she was holding her own and shining. it was during one of these impromptu battles that she was scouted by an employee of bighit. it was a shock to her that she would be an ideal canidate to audition for the chance to be in an idol group, she didn't feel taht she had the look or skills that would be useful in one.

Lee Hyungseok - older brother - funloving, obnoxious, easygoing - Even though there are times when haebyeol wants to beat her brother six feet under she loves him dearly, and knows that without him backing her up all this time then she never would have gotten this far, and is grateful to him for that. however she will never in a million years tell that to his face.

relationship Yoongi and haebyeol met while at the company it wasn't anything too out there or cheesy, honestly both of them were hardly paying attention to the other. Haebyeol had went on a hunt for a water bottle, when she was taking a small break inbetween practices and passed by him, she gave a simple greeting and kept going on her way. They really didn't get off on the best of starts since they both had pretty strong opinions and their personalities clashed. However over her years of being a trainee the wo had started to become closer to one another, mostly through their equal love for music. Haebyeol will now often go to yoongi whenever she gets stuck on a song or is just in a slump. His honesty and blunt words are actually something that haebyeol needs and likes about him. Of course that means she can do the same. They are often seen arguing about nothing and try to one up each one way or another. However even when they are arguing it's easy to see that they get along great and really care for the other person, they just have a weird way of showing it.
the story their first real meeting was something that everyone had first worried might actually end in an all out fight. Long story short comments were said and both ended up very heated and yelling at the other until they were pulled away from each other and put in their own time outs. haebyeol was of course the one who had to go apologize, though she really didn't feel like it, but he was her superior and she wasn't looking to stay on his bad side forever. It was during this time that she explained why she got defensive, as it was about her music. He understood, and though it took a while and some serious kissing she was forgiven, and soon found themselves having more in common that they had orginally thought. it was a plus that they were both the same age and could be casual with one another, able to have serious conversations, some of which did end in another one of their fights but unlike their first these are easier to bounce back and forgive the other.

trainee experience Haebyeol's training experience was tough she won't lie. She often was compared to the others who could do it all, where as she really only had one really good skill. She couldn't really dance and although she could stay in key her singing was average at best. She had to practice twice as hard as everyone else just to make sure she didn't fall behind. the only thing that was her savior was her music. anytime she was free or had a moment she would pull out her laptop and get lost in the music, it kept her sane and focused. even now she'll say that it was because of that escape that she was able to last out through the trainee period.
