boram would be the perfect villian of a chick flick. she'd be the one who steals the guy, the one who's mean and can fight, the one who has lots of guys wrapped around her little finger, the one who every single girl hates, the queen bee with minions following. one of the most four-dimensional and two-faced person you'll ever meet, I can't say boram is benevolent- she definitely isn't a good-natured person. she can be nice, but she's mean, she's a player, and she has no respect for about seventy percent of the people she knows. her negative traits outlaw her positive traits by a lot, and truth to be told, she's popular, but she doesn't really have any friends.
but no, she's not a cold person who won't crack a smile. in fact, boram is a lively and vivacious person who knows how to have fun. naturally the life of the party without even having to try, she's a vivacious and lively person who usually leaves a good (albeit slightly rude) first impression. she gets wolf whistles on the streets, and she'd turn around, give them the finger, and spit a string of curses foul enough to garner gapes and distaste. many are shocked about the sarcasm that come from the pretty face of hers and are often flustered after one conversation with her. readily capable, boram adapts to different surroundings easily. she's never surprised when the unexpected happens and would only glide through difficult situations with great composure. her attitude and viewpoints change depending on what's happening around her, and is always very level-headed and rational, even when thrown into difficult situations that make even the pinocchio girls want to rely on each other. her ways out are usually sensible and realistic (maybe not that sensible, but definitely realistic) in a way that is based on practical rather than theoretical considerations, and after some experiments, boram finds that using playful words and flirty actions always help.

believing that honesty is the best policy, boram says what she thinks without qualms. but she gets her timings correct: when she's around those who are highly respected and/or have more power than her, she knows she has to shut up. when she's with those who have the same power as her, she speaks her mind and is infuriatingly honest. so yes, even if she pretends to like everyone, she'd still say words that sting, even if she's trying to get on their good side. she'd just fend it off with a smile and say that she was just looking out for you, and a great majority of people believe her. the pinocchio girls don't, of course, and on cam they 'joke' about how straightforward she is, but knows that she's just being a great friend- utter bull, but the fans like it. although boram is rational in sticky situations, she's still one who acts on impulse. she's practical, yes, but relies on what she calls her 'woman's intuition'- usually she ends up saving the day, but sometimes her intuition gets her wrong. this is probably one of the most contradicting parts of her, and she herself gets annoyed as well. her intuition is often correct, but after acting at the whim of the moment, she'd hit herself mentally for being so rash- then sit down and think up a good plan.
even so, you should never trust boram. she's...fake, to say the least. she's very petty and honestly dislikes most of the people she knows- and yes, that includes all of the members of pinocchio, obviously, maybe except the leader. instead of seeing the good side in people, she sees the worst, and holds grudges for the tiniest things. so yes, she might be incredibly friendly to most of those she knows- yes, she keeps a nice front to the pinocchio girls
if boram has her mind set on something, don't bother to change it. she's incredibly stubborn and refuses to change what she thinks is correct. always arguing to save her face even though it's obvious the tables have turned and she just seems pathetic, she always refuses to admit that she's wrong even though the facts are practically right there, showing that she's wrong and she might also probably need to apologize because of the spiteful words she might have said when arguing. but she won't, as she feels that a woman, especially one like her, needs her dignity. partially because of her ego and her knowing that she's usually rational, she thinks that her solutions are forever correct and would frown if anyone pointed out her mistakes. and her persistent nature isn't just limited to ideas or solutions, it also concerns her newest target when it comes to relationships. usually behaving in such a way that suggests playful, ual attraction, boram has more boys and some girls hooked around her little finger than she can handle. equipped with quick wits and fast reflexes, her words and actions are always flirtatious since she finds the others' flustered reactions absolutey amusing and enjoys the special treatment she gets from those enamoured from her. she also gets a huge knack out of stealing the partners of other people- she feels great enjoyment and a sense of accomplishment when she gets confessions, especially from those already taken. and if some get angry and get in her face for snatching their boyfriends, an even greater sense of achievement pulses through her as her recent target stands up for her instead. she doesn't just completely flirt around for fun though- she genuinely feels affinity for the people she targets ( it's just that they're usually taken ), but after getting them into her claws, her interest drops to zero. she feels bad about it, but makes no move to change.

one might think that boram must have had a very dark background for her to end up as the amorous thief she is, but surprisingly, her childhood was perfectly...ordinary. born in the middle of summer on june 6th, 1992 in hwado-eup, namyangju, gyeonggi, south korea, boram's parents were a pair of upper-middle class who gave her a very stable and comfortable living environment. her parents were content with her as well, as boram was a cheerful girl who rarely cried, even as a baby. the moons were close with their next door neighbours, the kims, as well, and boram grew up as best friends with their son kim minseok. at school, boram was popular as well, and was the so-called dream girl of more than half of the male population. at first she'd pushed them all away, but when the fifteen year old her met a sixteen year old male who expressed interest in her, she was flattered and intrigued, and that male ended up being her first boyfriend. boram has long forgotten the guy's name and face, but she does remember that the second week into their relationship, they took each others' ity. when boram compares that that time to the experiences she's had with jongin, her first boyfriend was embarrassingly sloppy, but at the time, boram loved the pleasure she felt, and since that young age, she's had endless ual encounters with lots of different people- but she definitely plays it safe every time and would always use protection.

Q. You probably mentioned this in your background already, but would you describe how you got into SM Entertainment and how you got chosen to be in Pinocchio?
→ I auditioned along with my best friend. he auditioned as a singer, I auditioned as an actress. obviously, I'm a greatly talented actress, so I got accepted. but somehow sm entertainment thought it would be a good idea to put me into pinocchio instead even though all along I had only trained my acting. my singing isn't...that good, so I guess they put me as rapper because...my talking speed is fast? I don't know what they're thinking, honestly. or it's because of my face. definitely my face. come on- I'm obviously the prettiest in pinocchio, prettier than the visual. I don't even understand why she was chosen- if they wanted a pretty face, they have me.

→ I auditioned to be a ing actress, and somehow was put into this ty group filled with girls who can't deal with their own problems and proceed to into others'. honestly? I'm pretty sure I'm going to get acting offers sooner or later, and after I gain praise for my acting and get a stable position in the acting field, I'm probably going to terminate my contract, or, if I feel nice, not renew it. but then I'd like to stay at the company to protect my friend. I'll stay long enough, but I won't renew the contract. I won't. Nope. I'll sign to an acting agency and be known as an idol-turned-actress, thank you.

→ I have problems with everyone in the company, except minseok and the leader. the rest are heads who irk me one way or another- I hold grudges, yes, and the tiniest thing makes me hate a person. I admit that, I just won't change. so yes, I hate them all, but I have to keep on smiling if I want to be successful. I may or may not hate you too, interviewer.
→ I auditioned along with my best friend. he auditioned as a singer, I auditioned as an actress. obviously, I'm a greatly talented actress, so I got accepted. but somehow sm entertainment thought it would be a good idea to put me into pinocchio instead even though all along I had only trained my acting. my singing isn't...that good, so I guess they put me as rapper because...my talking speed is fast? I don't know what they're thinking, honestly. or it's because of my face. definitely my face. come on- I'm obviously the prettiest in pinocchio, prettier than the visual. I don't even understand why she was chosen- if they wanted a pretty face, they have me.
