TRAINEE YEARS [ ♦ ]  7 Years [Three years with SM + One year at Woolim + Three with JYP] 
TRAINEE BACKGROUND [ ♦ ] Yeosul was first a trainee at SM for about three years. It was pretty hard for her. She had school with the hardcore training. She was scouted for her pretty face on the streets of Hongdae when she was with a couple of her friends. She got the scouts card and she was about to throw it away when her friends stopped her. Yeosul didn't want to become an idol at first, she would want to be a stylist, but her friends convinced her to audition. She was 16 then and was aspiring to become a stylist, but she want through wiith the audition to humor her friends, she didn't think she would get in. But she did and after the audition she was imidiatley put in training. While she was there she became good friends with Amber Liu and Cho Kyuhyun (from f(x) and Super Junior). She asked them both for advice and help with her training. They were known as "The Three Troublemakers. Always while Yeosul was training they would sneak in and listen to her. After they would hang out together and go out for lunch. After a while she was among one of the few trainees who was placed as back ground dancers for Super Junior. Kyuhyun helped her with getting that possition.

After three years she left the agency before they got the chance to kick her out. She had heard from Amber that the agency had had a discussion to kick out some trainees since they were "taking up space". She didn't want to be humiliated that was so she willingly left the agency. Then some time later she read somewhere that Woolim were to have auditions so, she auditioned and she got in, it really helped her that she had had training before. She trained there for a year. There she again, after a long time met Kim Myungsoo, who turned out was a classmate and friend from her highschool. When she first joined the agency they sat together for hours just catching up together. While at Woolim she landed the female lead in their music video for "Paradise".

However after another year she was tired from the training, she actually got better in Woolim, but she wanted to take a break so she left the agency, but she still has great contact with Infinite, especially Myungsoo and her boyfriend Sunggyu. They got together officially on March 14 2012 (White Day). They had both been pracing around each other for about half a year before Sunggyu maned-up and asked her out. She said yes and they have been together ever since.

While on her so-called "break" she though that she really wanted to be a singer and though that the third time is always the charm. And the stars were smiling at her for she was agin scouted for an agency, this time it was JYP. She of course went to audition and was lucky to get in. Training there was a lot more fun than in SM and Woolim compared together, JYP even made her training schedule to fit her school schedule and was conciderate to when she had tests and exams to let her have some days off to study. While she was walking in the halways one day she again noticed someone familiar, this time, however she hid as fast as she could so he wouldn't see her. This was her younger brother Kim Yugyeom, she knew he was accepted into an agency, just not this agency! Imagine your younger brother in the same agency as you, but he's been there longer than you have and since you're his noona he would be emarrassed to see her there. 

When the coast was clear she went straight to JYP to tell him that she saw her brother in the building. JYP called Yugyeom to his office. To say he was surprised to see his sister there would be an understatement, but he was so happy and exited he almost tackled them both to the floor when he surprised her with a hug. Being the sensitive teen he is he asl ocried a little, he hadn't seen his sister in a long time. Then she said that the other trainees can't know that they are siblings as she didn't want any trouble for Yugeyom and herself. Yugyeom was relucant to agree, but he understood where she was coming from and agreed. 

While she was a trainee she acted a lot in music videos and even featured in JJ Project's song "Before This Song Ends". Since she had a thing for acting, JYP let her act when she could, he said it was for when she debuted she would be recogniced and it was a kind of "promotion" for when she debuted with the group. But because of her popularity and her already working, some trainees were jealous, but at the same time intimidated so they mostly left her alone. Yugeyom was always hurt when he saw his lovely sister alone, but he promised and he would keep their promise. But outside of the agency nothing could stop him from treating his noona to some ice cream.

// Yeosul as first is seen as a quiet, shy and timid girl, but as you get to know her she could be just as funny annoying as Ken. She shy around new people and when she's on camera (except for performances). She's pretty much quiet, but she's sharp. She notices things that others don't, since she takes time to analyze the situations around her. She's not one to show emotions easily or freely like the rest of her band mates, but she's opened up to them a lot, now she even starts conversations. Before she couldn't stand people touching her without her permission, but now she can handle being hugged suddenly by them. She likes skin-ship since that is the way for her to show her affections beside speaking. She is a soft spoken person, she rarely raises her voice to anyone.

// Though she's quiet most of the time, she really cares a lot for the members and is trying to be more out spoken on camera, though it's not easy. Though she too has her moments when she can let herself go. When she sees children and animals she completely forgets everything and plays with them. She doesn't care what others think of her then she does what she wants. But when she's with her brother, they both change in a way. Yeosul becomes a person who loves to hug and talk and smile, even laugh! She's also very strong and competitive, but it doesn't show all that much, so every time people see her strength, they are always surprised.

// She's also very protective of the people she cares the most about, like a lioness with her cubs. She will voice it if people get on her nerves as a warning and if the person still hasn't backed off she will back them off personally. On camera she's shy to show of what she got and when she laughs she hides her face in a way so that it's not shown, at all. But in all honesty, she's more comfortable with acting. 'Cause then she can let herself go and be someone completely different. Yeosul thinks it's fun to be a different person, and it's also a way for her to explore the different sides of herself through acting.

// Yeosul is especially serious when she's training. Then she won't look at anything else and just focus on her singing and dancing. Sometimes she even forget's to eat, which has caused her to be sick a few times. One day when she was training, the rest of the trainees had a joint training. They all learned the same choreography and were to perform it in front of JYP and the other staff members, trainees and artists uner JYP. Then she was so serious in getting the choreography right that she forgot to eat and only drank water. Then when she danced she was so nervous and she was dizzy, but she still managed to dance until it was done. Everyone applauded and Yeosul out. She's also a perfectionist. She will be so focused on getting everything right, so she will forget to take care of her own body. That is one of her biggest flaw. The other one is that she's very distant towards people she just met. Others may see her as cold, but it's just so that she can be sure of the character of the person.

// She's also insecure, not only about herself, but also people around her. Since she's from a well off enough family she's had the pressure to be that she has to be perfect in everything. But she's always insecure if what she's doing is right, if it is perfect enough for the people around her, and what they would think of her. As for the people around her she's insecure about how to approach them, since she's pretty shy and quiet. Yeosul doesn't voice her insecurity because she doesn't want to seem weak in front of others. To her, insecurity is a weakness.

// When Yeosul is on stage, she's emits y charisma and she does her best until the end. Off stage, she then lays down in the nearest couch and sleeps until they have to go. On camera, she doesn't show much emotions or reactions unless it deserves it (in her eyes). She's very camera-shy and she, hides her face when she laughs or smiles. Off camera she's as stated before.

BACKGROUND [ ♦ ] Yeosul grew up in a family consisting of a mother, a father and a younger brother. He mothers name in Kim Eunkyung, her father Kim Kangmin, and her brother Yugyeom. Ever since she was young her parents pushed her to be the best, to not be distracted by the things girls her age would be distracted about. For example, boys, friends, clothes, shopping and the like. Because of this she was mostly quiet in school and at home. The only time she could have any real fun was when she would sneak out. It was always fun to see how frantic her parents were

At school she was the least liked among the other students. The teachers loved her, she was the straight A student. Because of this her peers bullied her for being the teachers pet, she tried telling her parents to let her change schools, but they wouldn't listen. She already went to the best school, she had no choice but to be happy with it. One day the bullying got so bad she was sent to the infirmary and got a note with her home. She tried telling them about it, but again, they wouldn't listen, so she talked to their principal about a school transfer. The principal said that they had a sister school, but it was located in China. Yeosul was too tired of the bullying so she agreed that she could move to China to study there for a year, so she did. 

After that year in China was over she moved from her childhood home, to an appartment in the Gangnam district. She, one day invited her friends from her old neighborhood to visit in Seoul, that was when the scout from SM saw her. After her three years with SM she quit and moved onto Woolim. They she had a lot more fun and found love. Kim Sunggyu is the love of her life and she wouldn't have anyone other. During her time as a trainee she told no one about it, the only people who knew were her friends, who were sworn to secrecy, and her brother. Her parents knew nothing, because she knew that they would never agree to her being an idol, they had planed that she would become either a lawyer or a doctor. Her brother however could do what he wanted since he was the younger sibling so he auditioned for JYP and after a while Yeosul also joined.

Now she couldn't care less about what her parents thought of her, she has her friends, her boyfriend and her brother who support her whole heartedly. And now she's going to debut and couldn't be happier!

Yeosul only wanted to be a normal child with a normal childhood, but her mother pushed her to the the perfect child in everything. She pushed her to become a doctor like herself.

He also thought that it wasn't fair how they were treated differently and would always try to act cute in front of his sister to bring up her mood. He loves his sister very much and he would do anything for her. Though sometimes Yeosul forgets she's the older sibling when Yugyeom acts so mature with her.

But she explained she was the new trainee Han Yeosul and Kyuhyun voluntered to show her to SooMan's office. ♦ Kyuhyun has always wanted a youger sister, he has an older sister but it's not the same. Kyuhyun treats Yeosul as the younger sister he never had. It really helpes Yeosul when Kyuhyun is the same age as her her own brothers.
// Friend, Amber Liu ♦ 22 ♦ Idol ♦ 4D, boyish, fun, outgoing ♦ Kyuhyun introduced them to each other ♦ At first Amber was pretty outgoing and Yeosul found it hard to handle sometimes. But Amber noticed it and leveled her outgoing-ness. Amber has even helped Yeosul to become more outgoing. They have a lot of fun together.

Then they got closer than ever, sometimes this bothers Sunggyu and he sulks for a while.

There was a day where he walked through the JYP building to look for an available practice room to practice his singing. When he heard a guitar playing and a wonderful singing to accompany the wonderful melody from the guitar. Being curious he opened the door a little and peeked through the opening. When he saw that the girls back was turned towards the door he opened the door completely and listened to the song and when it was done he applauded with a smile on his face. Yeosul was shocked and tried to run away, but Junho was quick to block the exit and gave her both compliments and critics so that she could get better. The rest of the day they spent together in the studio while Junho helped her with what he could. Over time Junho developed a crush on her.

PERSONALITY [ ♦ ] Fan's and members of Infinte sees Sunggyu as a grandpa for the reasons that he seems lazy, he "lacks" in dance and that he isn't physically as strong as the rest of the members. But Yeosul never cared about that. SHe saw Sunggyu as someone devoted, hard working and strong, both emotionally and physically. Sunggyu is the kind of guy who would never look down or speak ill of anyone. He's a caring sweetheart. 

RELATIONSHIP [ ♦ ] Sunggyu treats Yeosul as a princess, hence his nickname for her "Gongju" (which means princess). Sunggyu has gone great lengths for Yeosul. One time Yeosul was sick with fever and Sunggyu, even though he knew he would be scolded, abandoned his schedule to take care of her. Sometimes Yeosul thinks Sunggyu is too good for her, like she doesn't deserve him. Sunggyu does so much for her and she doesn't know how to repay him for his love and kindness. Though Sunggyu has assured her that she didn't have to do anything else other than love him, he would be forever grateful.

HISTORY [ ♦ ] The day Sunggyu met Yeosul, she was introduced as a new trainee at the company along with some other trainees. Yeosul was shy and only looked down at the ground she glanced up to look at all the others present and her eyes fell on Myungsoo as she recognized him from high school. With a face that handsome it was impossible to forget. So when introduction was over Myungoo dragged Yeosul out and into a private practice room. They stayed there for hours and whan Infinite had to leave Sunggyu went to get Myungsoo. When they left Sunggyu asked him how he knew the new trainee. Myungsoo said that she was and old friend and classmate. Sunggyu since then had been secretly watching Yeosul when he could. 

Myungsoo noticed the stares one day and asked Sunggyu what his "deal" was. Sunggyu was pretty flustered but he answered without looking at him that he had a crush on Yeosul. Myungsoo thought it was cute and he promised he would help Sunggyu. Sunggyu was sceptical, but choose to believe Myungsoo. One day while Yeoul was practicing her singing, Sunggyu walked past the room and stopped. He heard her having problems with a song and decided to help her. Yeosul was pretty intimidated at first since he was a sunbae and she was afraid of saying something she shouldn't but she couldn't help it and said: "You're like a cute hamster..." She thought she was thinking it, but when she realized she said it out loud she apologized prufosely but Sunggyu just laughed and said it was okay. Since then Yeosul started warming up to Sunggyu.

As the time went by, they became even closer and Sunggyu realised that he has already fallen in love with Yeosul. And if that wasn't enough, Yeosul had also developed a huge crush on Sunggyu. Myungsoo, being quite observant noticed the changes in both of them and decided to play match-maker. He took them aside one on one to talk to them about their feeling for the other. It seemed like they had been dancing around each other for a while, but Yeosul wanted Sunggyu to confess since she was too shy to do so herself. Myungsoo told this to Sunggyu and together they planned the perfect confession. The confession would happen on March 14, White Day. Time flew and then it was the due-day. Myungoo asked Yeosul to meet him at the company since he asked for some input to his guitar playing. Yeosul arrived but the lobby was dark and the strange part was that there were lit tea candles along the floor, forming a trail. Yeosul thought it was weird, but followed the trail. When she reached the end of it, she found Sunggyu stading in the middle of one of the pratice rooms. Yeosul asked what was going on and Sunggyu started singing. He walked closer to her while singing. He took her hand in his while his other hand around her waist and he started leading her into a simple waltz, never stoping his singing. 

When he was done he told Yeosul how he felt about her, while holding her close and staring deep into her eyes. Yeosul thought she was going to melt so she quickly stuttered that she felt the same for him. Sunggyu finally asked her if she would be his, she answered that she would love to and they sealed it with a kiss. Then the light and the rest of Infinite including the CEO burst into the room and was like "CONGRATULATIONS!!" Yeosul and Sunggyu were both surprised, but they thought it was fun too.

Up until now, they have passed their third year anniversary and they are still very much in love as when they first got together. Even though they are in different companies they still talk every day on the phone and they try to take time to at least meet for coffee or lunch. Sometimes Sunggyu "kidnapps" her from practice to take her out on a date.
