On April 21, 2008, he came out as gay. He then lost his career and latter commited suicide.

His suicide note read "I'm lonely and in a difficult situation. Please cremate my body."

He wrote "Life is like the wind. What's there to agonize over? Meetings are happy, partings are sad, everything is just a moment." on his wesite a few days before.
