When the maknae is away, the Gyu will play...

Now, I am well aware of many people’s opinions regarding my ultimate bias, Kim Sunggyu. For instance, in the eyes of sane normal other people, he might not actually be as…um, aesthetically exceptional as I’d like to believe.

Fair enough. However, when it comes to maturity, he’s definitely number one, right?

I mean, sure, he gets excited sometimes, but he mostly keeps himself under control…

Yeah, okay, I give up. Basically, as the following video demonstrates (thank you, subber!), Gyu apparently has a hankering to be Infinite’s maknae. (Probably since he’s one in real life. Which no one could tell. Like at all.)

(Not.)

Naturally, he seized on the moment when the real maknae is off in the army (variety show version of the army, but still) to fulfill this dream. Well, this dream and his other apparent desire to smash a toy xylophone like it had cold-bloodedly knocked his baby sister up.

(Thank all that is right with the Gyuniverse that he never decided to become a surgeon!)

gyu noona understands that sickly ( barely hidden ) urge to 'getting ur maknae aegyo on' more than it should commonly be allowed.
i see myself in him and i can't stop wondering :is this how they see me? ( being in the nursing department doesn't make my 'special' conduct that worrisome, does it?)
he might not be the perfect gyuoctor material, but i can totally rock him...cough... it;if need be.
i can vouch 4 him too.Gyu would rock the OR (wait, is he afraid of blood or needles?)

I really love it when he wears overdrowning tee like that. somewhere in between hands flailing he did unconsciously, I found myself held my breath hoping I could catch a glimpse of those dreamy curls under his arms ㅠㅠ

*sighs in satisfaction* gyu as the hamster maknae brings smiles to my face :'D I still find it really interesting that in Infinite, the hyungs are the maknaes of their families, the middle is also the middle at home & the maknaes are the oldest at home ㅋㅋㅋ idk it's such an interesting dynamic ouo

hehehe I hafta admit I find Gyu a cutie more than an intimidating Gyu in real life..
Esp since his appearance on High Society variety show, I had felt that only during dance practice room that he will be a strict Kim Sunggyu and an intimidating leader..

YAZZZZ eng subs BLESS SUBBERS. Oh, it's okay, there's a whole bunch of us who share the same view (the same y view) with you so it's totally fine ;) Gyulicious "maknae" keeps getting dissed for his looks on tv shows because everyone keeps bringing the announcer thing non-stop. Every show i watch with gyu in it, keeps saying it and gyubb has to keep repeating the story and i feel so sad for him because in the end, the hosts will still end up comparing him and myungsoo and conclude with the fact that he is STILL LESS UGLY compared to gyu (which I don't think so).

Okay, maybe it's just me that gyu > myung because I only stan gyu (and at times lee howon damn that bias list wrecker)
