No girl could KONTROL herself with you, Kim Sunggyu!

I honestly don’t think I will make it to May 11 (a.k.a Maximum Sunggyu Solo Slayage day), because it’s D-7 and I have neither ovaries nor sanity left.

I will not post all the teaser pics for Gyu’s  solothat have been coming out, because let’s face it, I don’t want your deaths and your imminent infertility on my hands. Suffice it to say, I can’t live with that guilt. I cannot, however, hold back from spazzing over this, the latest music video teaser for Kontrol (oooh, emo-misspelling alert!).

Did you hear that? That was noona screaming with incoherent, incandescent joy because BIBIMBABY FINALLY GOT HIMSELF THE GIRL IN A MUSIC VIDEO!

Do you know how monumental this is? Please recall that Kim Sunggyu’s first solo music video was fronted by Kim Myungsoo. While L was getting some of this sweet lovin’ in 60 Seconds…

Our dearest leader was getting some of this…

...that looks like some sweet whiplash to me, just sayin’.

And he’s never, ever gotten the girl in one of Infinite’s MVs. True, he got a girl, once, but does that girl really count when she’s your baby sister? (Whom, I might add, was more into Myungsoo anyway?)

Plus, that was the video where he got his sweet, sweet booty handed to him.

No, see, this time, this time, it’s going to be cause for some major  celebration, for although we know our cutie commander is all about the art and has no interest in carnal matters…

Um, well, anyhow, at least he’ll be in a video where he won’t have to portray emotional suffering. I don’t like seeing my baby hurt!

Darn it!

Whatever, I’m excited!  GYU GOT THE GIRL!

(Probably. We’ll have to see. Things aren’t looking so unicorns-and-sunshine in the teaser…)

(Although, honestly, you hate to see him go, but you know you love to watch him leave!)

I dont realize when gyu teaser was coming out. After my friend telling me. I screaming like a crazy.
Then after that i cannot sleep cuz i kept replay the teaser.
Gyu got a girl on teaser and i got jealous here. Kekekeke ~~~~
The song sounds very nice and i hope gyu will get number 1. Just like infinite H.

I won't be able to handle the FEELS during Gyu's solo comeback. Really I'm so excited it's funny (no, it isn't, I don't know what to do with myself, it huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurtss -not really but you get the idea-). I loved how Kontrol looks, the 90's indie vibe is so strong I could hug the screen and kiss it (I would rather hug Sunggyu and kiss him, you know, but, well, distance, differences and probabilities and all that jazz...). I'm sure he'll make all of us cry like little babies T^T

PS: I get the feeling that the girl will play his little sis, I don't know, maybe it's the way he holds her hand... but we already know how awkward our Gyu is so maybe not, I don't know...

I laugh because I'm pretty sure the girl is like 14/15 lol. Unless she is actually around his age, but just looks like a teenager. Either way, this teaser has Nell written all over it! It's so indie-like and something I would never expect Sunggyu to do, but I think it's going to fit him so well. I can't wait for this full music video to come out! I am barely holding on by a thread with this comeback. It's a struggle to see what gets released every day

I had to end an assignment and only the last part was left but after an hour later I managed to start writing it again haha

but yes ikr he gets to be in his own MVs (two at that!) now! and really, this album seems like it'd be pretty personal and confessional ;; some people brought up the possibility that this MV could be to some extent based on his past story (and then we're all gonna cry while watching it bYE)
