ikuta kaori, 45 years old — haku's beloved mother, who works as a babysitter. she is a caring and loving person, traits that are seen when she's with kids and her family. haku is very clingy with her mother, since she's where he goes to rant about his bad days. now, haku tries to be more reliable when the zombie apocalypse starts so that he won't see his beloved mother harmed, and to prove his sister that he is better than what she thinks of him. anyway, kaori was really against the fact that haku followed azusa into some sketchy organization to kill the zombies as she worries for his safety, but once azusa convinced that haku will come back in one piece, she had to believe in haku.

ikuta houtaro, 48 years old — houtaro is the local high school's lazyass history teacher. he couldn't care less when the zombie starts roaming the city as he coolly takes his family to the survivors camp because fk the zombies. he looks like he's on drugs like all the time but he's just secretly observing and judging people. he tried to make haku into a refined young man before but failed so he accepted haku as he is. great father material here. houtaro is actually against haku joining m.e.a.z but his precious little son convinced him that he'll be a real man. yeah right.

ikuta hajime, 18 years old — haku's cold and sassy older sister. is actually scared of zombies but still looks chill all the freaking time because apparently she practiced some martial arts. adores her siblings but kinda tsundere about it. she hates it when haku acts like a girl so she would always pick on him and try to make him act more like a real man but obviously her efforts went down the drain. hates losing so when haku and hajime gets in a fight, haku would have to back down and cry about it. when haku joins m.e.a.z, she refused to follow him with the excuse that she gets tired very fast.

ikuta kaoru, 12 years old — haku's blank little sister. her eyes look lifeless and could pass as a zombie. she is skilled in fighting because coughs bully here. teases haku and leaves dresses on his bed as a joke. when haku joins m.e.a.z, she was persistent to tag along but was stopped by their older sister. kaoru is actually the most dependent one out of the three, considering that she can't do anything without hajime or even haku.
