BRIEF INTRODUCTION : sakata gintoki, at first glance looks uninterested in everything. the only thing that keeps him fired up is when he gets to research about a certain thing - and reveal the truth behind it. you can say he's sometimes way too curious for his own good, but i guess that's his charming point, is it not? in any case, his love for the supernatural is the real deal so don't mock his hobby or you'll get a katana shoved up your .

APPEARANCE : the first thing you'll notice about gintoki is his somewhat curly hair, which he dyed silver, that causes him distress to no end because they seem to always be in a messier state than his life. it is said that they are naturally permed so he blames it on his genetics. however, his friends pointed out his charm point (or rather, most noticable thing on his face) are his half-lidded, dead-fish eyes that reminds them of a zombie. they are brown in colour, though it looks maroon-ish in some occassion. gintoki stands at 181cm and weighs around 63kg. he is underweight because he's not one to eat much, he usually spends his time cooped up in the lab anyway.
STYLE : gintoki's style reflects his life. messy and boring. most of the time, he wears a white coat over work shirts that goes with a pair of slacks. other times, when he feels like he wants to be more "wild", he would wear a sports jacket on top of a casual t-shirt with a pair of sports pants that looks a little bit too big on him. he also wears a pair of oval glasses most of the time because he is farsighted. overall, "old-fashioned" is definitely the word one would use to describe gintoki's look.
