Five(or more) reasons you're a fan:

- Bcuz duhhhh....i'm destined to love them.

- Bcuz they're freaking awesome...why else /rolls eyes/ live perfs that blow you outta water (which is why i get annoyed everytime they had to lipsync...like....let them boys shine they're amazing enough)

- There were mix reactions before they debut...mainly by Shinhwa fans..some wanted to support them for Shinhwa sake, some hated them bcuz 'no way they can be second Shinhwa, oppar irreplacable'...i've seen these kids since in Battle Shinhwa...i feel sad they're always seen as shinhwa shadow...they're good on their own...the show's just a platform...a singing competition, yet they're loved n hated only for Shinhwa sake...they deserve better.

- Ryu's embarrassing cheesiness n his inner insecurities of not being good enough as a leader, Hwichannie my lil bro n his awesome voice n how he glues the group together all throughout the hiatus and how he visit Ryu in the army just after dreaming of him the day before...so random gawsh, Kihyun, his y pretty self, his 'man of the family' image despite looking utterly girly, his obsession for selcaing... n his otpness with Ryu...lol (sorry i would never ship LiHyun or ChRyu ugh)....Lio, Taehwa n Chris...even though i never paid much attention or interest to them at first since they're the popular ones with international fans...but lately i'm appreciating them even more...Lio n his courage to announce his girlfriend, n his exemplary army image, Taehwa n his suddenly attractive singing(i never liked his voice before omg what is army doing to him) though i hate seeing him becoming Youngsaeng's backdancer most time, oh and also his awesome solo debut, Chris and his amazing composer self...gawsh...i'm like...in love with most of his compositions...they're just so refreshing n worthy to be called music...i just...wow...

- it's just fated...sometimes i wonder myself why i am a fan, but i am n hella i'm proud to be their fan.

^ they performed this a few times actually n each one was awesome...but this was the first i watched n stuck in me the most...

^ ok maybe prerecorded..they didn't have much covers...mostly Shinhwa songs but at least these are their voices...xD

Five(or more) random facts about this artist:

- Each members were winners from singing audition program Battle Shinhwa and was handpicked by each Shinhwa member, they debuted about one year after crowned as winners. They're the original n official Shinhwa's proteges, before just dropped in the middle of nowhere...

- Hwichan joined a little late but before debut, the original winner Kim Janghyun(Dongwan's pick)quit the group before they debutstating he wanted to continue studies...later debuted in SunnyHill...Hwichan was handpicked by Dongwan to replace Janghyun's place....frankly...if you watch Battle Shinhwa's finals, he really was one of the best vocals there if not the best, well, Janghyun too. Can i say...Dongwan has good taste? :p

- All members have served their 2-year army(or is serving, in Taehwa's case) sans Chris(whom i'm not sure if he needs to or not since i'm not sure of his citizenship)

- They have released 3 singles, before went to endless hiatus, probably unofficially disband due to the company's disappearance...huh...

- Kihyun quit the group after 2nd single, so he wasn't in promotion for Step by Step but...to this day i just see him as still part of them. he's supposedly actor but idk...he's in drama My Fair Lady though. he plays for FC Men sometimes since football is his lurve. he still hang out with them, and he defended the group when some jerks make fun of them for being failures.

- Lio was featured in Junjin's song shortly before Battle's debut, no surprise he's Junjin's pick. He also had a collab/feat in Gn.Ee song some years ago(aka, Aoora from AA), he's also acting.

- Taehwa had a solo debut under the name Zin Tae Hwa with Fallen Angel, he was also in M.E.N, a group that promoted in Japan. in army now.

- Ryu acted in drama Supermom and also had some roles in theatre/musical and short films. He was a former child actor and model before debuted in Battle. he has lurve for theatres. and did Jekyll and Hyde stage for Battle's first fanmeeting.

- Hwichan joined audition TV show in China...and i think he's mostly active in China now...make a lot of effort to chase after the members whenever he miss them or when he want to lol...just like boss.

- Chris has a youtube channel. He plays piano, compose songs, does covers and perform his own showcases now after completing studies and coming back to Korea.

 

How did you learn about them/become a fan:

like i said...it all started with Battle Shinhwa(or really...just...Shinhwa?)....though i didn't follow the show at first...watching the winners' final performance had me interested...especially cuz this is so cool n awesome albeit not live.

and also...the nasty remarks from some Shinhwa fans that didn't like any 2nd generation of oppars made me want to support them (not all, just some...their first internationl forum was started by Shinhwa fans too)...well, i just have soft spot for awesome underdogs...

Merchandise/album you own:

Crash 1st single. and i know getting it for free ain't nothin' to be proud of...but...i got it after going through multiple rounds of competition n using my brains n time n energy...i know everyone else worked really hard on this little fun event with all the contests...but i guess i got lucky to emerge the main winner...after winning two of the contests that involved writing...the competition at that time were crazy...i kinda missed everyone there...:(

No. will i ever? i just wanna say...Hwichannie get back to work on chasing after your hyungs and Chrissu and make Battle comeback work! i demand you. Ryu n Lio stop being so mysterious n come out sometime...gawsh...Kihyun...go back into Battle...you can't expect to be forgotten when you're always with them lovin' and all...Taehwa, once you finish army...come out n get back to the stage, gotta show 'em you're no backdancer...nothing against backdancers, they're awesome too but with that vocals....no. and Chrisss...you gotta make an awesome comeback song for Battle no need idol-ish music...just sth awesome like your compositions pweaaasseee. Just one comeback, even a proper closure would be good...been hanging here for too long. knowing assuming but if it's the end at least give us a closure...:(...well, actually i don't mind to keep loving n supporting Battle in the dark like this not knowing if there'll ever be comeback...as long as you guys keep in touch n keep releasing sth it make me happy...Always proud of loving Battle. so keep being good boys n stay away from anything wrong or scandalous please, just live nicely n happily. thanks.
