well, after answering everything it feels rather dull...i guess it's cuz i write dull characters with one track minds/conflicts/focus....lol...anyway, since' i'm done answering...might as well post it...

1. What do you know about this character now that s/he doesn't yet know?
Again...duh. of course i know everything...that she needs to know, and even that she doesn't know.

2. What is this character's greatest flaw?
Her weak heartedness. Low self esteem. She believes by heart that she's stupid because everyone tells her that she is, well she is kinda stupid(though in many sitautions it's not like she had much choices). She gives up easily and believes too easily. she's kinda...wishy washy? self pity. thinks too highly of people's kind nature and perfections. kinda overconfident that good can defeat evil in the beginning. not good at acting, can be blinded/sidetracked by love/crush, naive n idealistic, etc. etc.

3. What do you know about this character that s/he would never admit?
well, that'd be spoiler-ish if i reveal it here won't it?

4. What is this character's greatest asset?
Her love for her siblings.? is that an asset? i'd say her stupidity is an asset too.

5. If this character could choose a different identity, who would s/he be?
She wants to be pretty, smart and successful...like Joohyun. scratch that, maybe she just want to be the girl Seungjae likes, or maybe...she just want to be someone who has nothing to do with Romeo n never encounter him and never will.

6. What music does this character sing when no one else is around?
cheesy poppy kpop girlgroup love songs.

7. In what or whom does this character have the greatest faith?
In virtue/goodness/morality/you know...those do-the-right-thing cuz that's the right thing.

8. What is this character's favorite movie?
any movies as long as she watches them with people she love.

9. Does this character have a favorite article of clothing? Favorite shoes?
She of course would love to dress prettily cute dresses and all, since she's a dreamer/girly/romantic at heart, but due to the fact that she's a little chubby and not exactly pretty by conventional standard, making her self esteem low, and her busy lifestyle going around the town to help her sister send orders to customers make her prefer jeans, t-shirt and jackets. She just wear sneakers that's not from any fancy brand, but comfortable to move around, Mogchoji made....:p. 

10. Does this character have a vice? Name it.
isn't she too kind to have one...consciously?

11. Name this character's favorite person (living or dead).
Her family.

12. What is this character's secret wish?
To have never met Romeo or made any wish in the first place. Or now, to have Romeo disappear for good(you see, she's just too kind to wish him die...lol).

13. What is this character's proudest achievement?
None...yet.

14. Describe this character's most embarrassing moment.
She's actually pretty tough cookie at handling embarassing/nasty remarks. But i would say, she's most embarrassed for causing people she love and people around her to die and unable to protect them. 

15. What is this character's deepest regret?
Both agreement with the Devil.

16. What is this character's greatest fear?
Seeing the people she love die...knowing that the Devil is targetting her siblings but unable to let them know or stop it, and just helplessly waiting because every effort/method/plan she try keep ending in vain.

17. Describe this character's most devastating moment.
So far, everytime she learns about new death, and knowing she plays a part in it.

18. Greatest achievement.
So far...none.

19. Greatest hope.
Stop the Devil. For good.

20. Obsession.
Wanting to save people around her.

21. Greatest disappointment.
When she learnt that the marriage couldn't save Hyesung, when she learnt Hyesung isn't completely innocent, when she learnt that Jungmin is indeed Romeo in disguise as she thought earlier, there are more and more but wouldn't that be...leaving too many spoilers?

22. Worst nightmare.
Losing all her loved ones because of her.

23. Whom does this character most wish to please? Why?
Her siblings. Her dead mom and dad, or if it could save her siblings, then Romeo.

24. Describe this character's mother.
The mother actually died long ago before the father married Hyuna's mother.

25. And father.
A kind, softspoken, warm and loving, responsible man as far as Hyeonrin remembered. He remarried a woman who had a daughter from previous marriage after his wife's death. He later died from an accident together with his new wife, leaving the four siblings to fend on their own. Believe in Hyeonrin to take care of her elder siblings even though she's not the sharpest knife.

26. If s/he had to choose, with whom would this character prefer to live?
With her siblings forever and ever.

27. Birth order, and effect of that.
She's the youngest of five siblings. Because of that she's treated as the baby, and to add, her stupidness make her siblings more protective of her though some would throw mean remarks every now and then. She also feel the responsibility to ease her siblings' burden, helping them however she could though most time, she's just left feeling useless.

28. Describe siblings or other close relatives.
Shin Hyesung - Eldest brother, resemble her father the most in nature/personality, which make her adore him, and look up to him, even though certain events have made him an occassional drunk, didn't go to university after school to work and support his younger siblings even though he's the smartest at school amongst the siblings. Worked at a bar.

Moon Hyuna - Second eldest, Hyeonrin's step sister, came into the family when her mother married Hyeonrin's father. Fierce, cold exterior but has warm heart, no nonsense and serious, protective of her siblings though she doesn't show it. Most successful among the siblings, and have desk job. Have bitter sibling relationship with Kihyun. Moved out after one of her fights with Kihyun.

Shin Kihyun - Third eldest, likes to joke around and making fun of people-especially Hyeonrin, a little erted according to Hyeonrin, worked at neighbourhood restaurant. Not in good terms with Hyuna. Can be mean with words, but is concerned about Hyeonrin as well. Moved out after fight with Hyuna but occassionally comes home. BFF with Hyeonrin's longtime crush.

Oh Seungah - Fourth eldest, adopted by Hyeonrin's parents before Hyeonrin was born. Work from home, selling cakes and cookies she bake with help from Hyeonrin to deliver the goods. Chirpy, happy-go-lucky and dreamy. The closest with Hyeonrin since they spend most time together, their personalities aren't far apart too. 

29. Bedroom. Three cherished items.
She shares bedroom with Seungah, but occassionally sleeps in Hyesung's room since he's usually not at home at night.

30. Birthdate, and does this character manifest traits of astrological sign?
can i skip this one pwease?

31. Six months of seclusion, name six items to bring.
if at the beginning of story... Hyesung, Kihyun, Hyuna, Seungah, Siwan, Seungjae. That's how simple minded she is. people matter to her more than any items. As long as she's with people she love, it's all good.

32. Why is this character angry?
Because no matter how she tried...she couldn't change what's happening. Romeo keeps getting the upperhand, and despite learning about him, she still failed. She even caused trouble to people supposedly unrelated.

33. What calms this character?
Accepting fate, her weakness, having someone who could understand her situation or give advice like Siwan, Minwoo and now, Jooyeon helps build some strength in her.

34. Recurring dream or nightmare.
Romeo destroying her siblings. (hasn't she been worried sick of hyuna for the longest of time by now? lol)

35. Choices, not circumstances, that led character to current predicament.
She chose to make the deals with Romeo on the spot, due to her short sightedness. She may seem underconfident, but isn't it overconfident of her to think she could even win the agreements?

36. Circumstances over which this character has no control.
Deaths. Romeo.

37. What wakes this character in the middle of the night?
Nightmares. And phonecalls?

38. How would a stranger describe this character?
Sweet girl, average girl or looks blur. (knetz will describe her as simply 'ugly' or 'unfortunate face' maybe...haa)

39. What does this character resolve to do differently every morning?
How she handle her situation, hoping she could somehow defeat Romeo and save everyone.

40. Who depends on this character? Why?
Consciously, nobody depends on her except for trivial things like Seungah depends on her to deliver goods, and Hyuna depends on her to keep watch of everyone at home and be good companion to Seungah. But truth is, their lives depend on her now.

41. If this character knew s/he had exactly one month to live, what would s/he do?
Go all out to kill Romeo on her own since she has nothing to lose even if she lost. 

42. How would a dear friend or relative describe this character?
Siwan her best friend would describe her as 'cute'. To him, she's like a little sister he never had and her height makes her seem even more like a cute little sister to be doted on and protected(even though he's a shorty too duh). He's also the only one who believe in her worth and support her even when she told him something that sounds ridiculous like the Devil/Romeo. He knows she's stupid, and he also calls her stubborn despite being stupid...but he also trust her conscience and willing to support her for anything even if it makes him nags her on n on.

43. What is this character's most noticeable physical attribute?
Well, she's chubby, short and not pretty by traditional standard, a starking difference when she's surrounded by model-like sisters like Hyuna and Seungah n even pretty brothers like Hyesung and Kihyun. 

44. What is this character hiding from him/herself?
Her dark side...maybe? heheh...well, she believes in the kindness and goodness of people and the power of goodness and doing the right thing. but can people really be just one dimentional? can there be just one side to a coin?

45. Write on additional thing about your character.
From the few comments i gathered by people who simply read description or maybe a couple chapters, i gathered that people are annoyed at Hyeonrin's severe lack of self esteem and beliefs that she's stupid n how protected she is n how she's not acting her age...she's supposed to be that way, it's her imperfection. Some people might see her 'averageness' as being MarySue-ish but i suggest you check the definition of Mary Sue(though it change with time but originally, it's someone perfect in everything) if she had been stronger with strong mindset, sense of self, smart and everything /coughsmarysuecoughs/, would she have been perfect match/target for Romeo's mission? Remember, it's her kindness that brought him to her in the first place, but it's her failure to appreciate herself and her jealousy n self pity that caused the beginning of the agreements...of course, this wasn't strikingly portrayed, because Hyeonrin is supposed to be kinnnnnddddd n believes herself is kind too, the flaw of insecurity is layered and i trust my readers' intelligence. So, her wishy washyness is kinda draggy......did she change after 10-20 chapters? No, she's still pretty much same person though she keep saying she'd change or make big decision. But if you follow the timeline, not too much time has passed in those 30 chapters...realistically, would a person be able to drastically change? Her mind says she wants to change...but she's a weak hearted and also mentally weak. strength isn't built just like that as you say it...maybe i'm trying to keep the progression of her characteristic too realistically paced...that's my fault but i just like it that way...do you know there are people who don't even progress/change/improve from young till old? sure she's a character...but i like giving soul n individualities to my characters instead of just perfection progress...like people might expect...readers might be disappointed in her from time to time or bored by her...but don't we encounter these kind of people in real life? people who frustrates n bores us? so, why can't such people exist in fanfics too? and also, people might think writers write OCs to fantasize/let reader fantasize being them....but for me, if i'm to write pretty girls...i'd just use female idols...they need love too...the reason i write OCs like Hyeonrin n Jiwoo(in the other story) was because i couldn't think of female actresses/idols that fit these characters...physically.
