Today is a busy day for Rainbow, their fansite and fans i'm sure...

Bcuz its the release of their album INNOCENT and also their MV Black Swan

Like i commented there, i don't quite understand people who said it's that bad...sure it's not the best but that's only cuz the album sound so good overall that the title song just pale in comparison compared to like half or more other tracks imo...you may not agree, but i suggest listen n decide on your own before reading comments n let it influence your opinion...

So, what are your fav songs? I won't go into details here since i'd probly do that in my blog when i review this unprofessionally. but so far, my 3 favs i predicted when they released preview of the album remain(The Bad Man Cries, Mr.Lee,Privacy), with additional of PIERROT which is the surprise, since that preview annoy hella outta me...so yeah, i still don't like the verses but overall it's not as bad as i thought it'd be...it has some melody and....the lyrics for this song is one of the most satisfying in the album for me, many of the lyrics, like most kpop especially girlgroups, tend to really unimpress me...idk maybe many don't care or maybe they do, but for me...lyrics can make me like a song i dislike or dislike a song i like. they're just as important as melody n singing for me bcuz they make up the core,essence of the song.

Bcuz they're just heartwarming. You can feel how much love the members have for each other and for Rainbow as a whole. And how they strive on their own n together to keep the group's relevance alive. Now it shed some light why they're sooo darn active on twitter. 

I'm also proud to hear their goal for the album isn't to win 1st like any artiste would always say(especially those who haven't win) but to promote 3 songs....damn, i hope so too...cuz there's just so many precious gems that shouldn't be thrown to backburner in INNOCENT

I also loved how they don't lose their confidence and think great of themselves and their talents despite never having won...i get upset whenever i see idols saying 'yeah i'm good for nothing, useless,hopeless' just cuz they never win when there are their fans who try their darndest to support them n keep loving them n telling the world their idols are good but then the idols have to go say things that backfire at the fans....that really annoyed me...so I'm glad Rainbow remain positive n optimist. it means a lot, bcuz your fans see you as awesome, just like every other 'successful' idols' fans...in fact, fans of 'unsuccessful' idols are even greater for having trust, faith n pride on their idols' awesomeness without needing any proof of popularity or sth they can dangle around to brag with....so, we deserve at least as much pride and respect from our idols by them believing in their own worth. Sorry, if i sound like taking a jab at some specific group...it's unintentional but unavoidable...they could learn a thing or two or more from Rainbow really.

and also...

(Kim Jaekyung) “I want to say ‘unrivalled’ in a confident voice. Taking example of our office, wouldn’t Rainbow qualify to be a group which ‘never won 1st but has been receiving love for 7 years’.? Even if it wasn’t fancy from the start we grow up little by little and they will be by our side if we don’t place ‘last’.”

This is not the first or second time Jaekyung has dished out really classy answer without sounding cocky for questions that would easily make them feel down or have this 'i'm loser' kinda answer...Jaekyung always manage to twist it to sound positive, and other members are doing well at it too. I remember during A promotion when they're asked about having exact same outfit n hairstyle n Jaekyung simply answered that they're building up image as a group so rather than being seen as individual with own style they want to eb acknowledged as a group, hence the outfits n hair. 

Also...

“The Rainbow members also get along with each other but we keep our individual characters at the same time. So sometimes we say to each other, that we’ll probably have a happy marriage because we’re so considerate of one another. (Laugh)”

I really think Rainbow members' love, respect and consideration for each other n for the group itself made them last this long together. They're always goofing around on SNS n have fun together. frankly i think it'd be hard bcuz the difference/gap in popularity level between some members are really overwhelming n annoying to see sometimes, but i believe it's their maturity n consideration that keep the group's dynamic strong. and i hope that will continue...and i also hope DSP will give solo collection to Rainbow next....c'mon...SS501 had it, KARA had it too....now that Rainbow lasted this long, shouldn't they get it too? I'm really curious about their individual music style....bcuz that's how i learn more about SS501 n KARA members' individual music preference/style n all.

Let's go Rainbow!
