the ORIGIN.

BACKGROUND » Yiseul and her older brother Jaerim were born in Germany and lived there up until the age of six and ten, respectively, and her family returned back to South Korea. Her parents lived in Germany for several years because her father, Sanyun, got a job in coaching the football team there while her mother, Eunseol, found a job in teaching gymnastics for the community. Her parents returned to South Korea because they missed their homeland, but also because her father got a better coaching job to teach their nation's team the Red Devils. Her mother decided to not find a job in gymnastics and ended up getting a job at a high school being their gym instructor instead for physical education.

Anyways, throughout Yiseul's childhood her parents insisted that she and her brother always paticipate in sport activities and joining a team and the likes. Although not really wanting to do it, but her parents were pushy about such things and she just always follow through with it. Eventually though, it became a part of her and it was just second nature to always being active and enjoying a good game play. Yiseul was fortunate to have Jaerim with her in playing these sports. If she ever got bored playing with girls as they weren't as tough, her older brother and his friends were always down with having Yiseul join them even if she was a few years younger but she always held her own ground. Yiseul never cried and whine when playing with the boys. For her, it just built up her brave and strong personality.

When Yiseul was thirteen, she ended up injuring her leg that hindered her from playing the rest of the season in football. Her parents restricted her to bed rest and she was cooped up in her room with nothing to do. By this time, her brother decided to go do his mandatory duties, and so she had no one else to entertain her. Until her best friends, the twins Eunji and Eunmi, came to visit her and introduced her to the KPOP scene of idol groups. Playing sports and being focused on nothing but that, Yiseul never really had time for anything else. Once her eyes laid upon the dance moves and catcy melodies of the songs, she became fascinated and found a new interest beside sports that weren't influenced by her parents.

Since then, Yiseul took an interest in singing and dancing and once she was finally healed of her injury she decided to learn music instead and kept sports as a hobby. Her parents weren't thrill at all, they pushed her to continue with playing football and gymnastics, or even with swimming since she took that up and became quite skilled in it but Yiseul didn't want to. She insisted on doing music as her main focal point. Thanks to the twins, Yiseul found a new love and was able to enjoy hanging out with her friends more often now that the twins didn't have to hang out with Yiseul in only just playing sports. Also thanks to her many years of playing sports that toned out her body and made it flexible, her dancing moves were fluid, although not perfect, Yiseul continued to find her own rhthym and enhanced her dance skills. As for her singing, she with the Choi twins went to the karaoke to practice her singing since it gave her scores and what not.

Yiseul met the Choi twins in primary school and was the only one that could tell them apart even if they looked really similar in appearance. Eunji and Eunmi tried their hardest to trick and fool Yiseul, but Yiseul was always able to tell them apart one way or another. Yiseul wasn't sure why, but she just had this feeling of knowing who was who despite the girls' similiarities. This made the trio become the best of friends and the twins were happy to know that besides their parents, someone else could actually tell them apart as an individual and not as "one of the Choi twin".

Yiseul and Jaerim don't seem as close as some people may think because of their , but they are super close as they get competitive in games and always have a good time with it. Yiseul has learned a lot of things from him because he gives her talks about such experience and always looks out for her. But sometimes she gets annoyed with him when he always wins and starts gloating about it all and just doesn't let her live it down. Sometimes she wants to smack him and just walk away. But she doesn't, because she doesn't have the strength to do so and respects her brother and loves him and the likes.

Yiseul is fluent in Korean because of her parents and living in South Korea for pretty much all of her life. As for German she used to speak it fluently when she was younger when she lived in Germany, but lost it when moving to Seoul. Yiseul self-taught herself the language again hoping to one day visit back and what not. She gets help with speaking it with Jaerim who seems to be more fluent then her for some reason despite being older by four years. Then there's English. Yiseul picked up some thanks to football, but for her own awareness she didn't want to be ignorant when saying something stupid or what not and so made sure to know the difference.

PERSONALITY » Yiseul is a competitive, sporty, hand-ons, easy-going, stubborn, opinionated, and weird character kind of girl. Her competitiveness comes from both of her parents to always do well, but it was mainly in sports that is, as well as any type of game relations. So Yiseul is quite sporty and she's pretty much game for anything as long as it is appropriate. This also makes her hand-ons as she prefers doing things actively as it's a better stimulation for her. Although Yiseul can be easy-going and goes with the flow of her surroundings; she can be quite stubborn once she set her mind to do something or finishing it to the end. And this can make Yiseul quite annoying when she gets opinionated as she has a bad habit of voicing out her thoughts out loud even though she tries to bite her tongue at times. Sometimes Yiseul's words can come out harsh and mean, but it's not meant to be perceive like so. Yiseul really means well and isn't an insensitive person as she comes out to be.

Anyways, despite all that, Yiseul's weirdness wins over every other traits of hers. She'll have a conversation with herself and even roleplay different roles when having a one-woman conversation. Yiseul's not sure why she does this, but it's something that's a part of her and she can't change that. Yiseul is also a team player and always watches out for those around her. Just like family, no one gets left behind. Yiseul doesn't want to be treated like so, and so she doesn't treat others like that. If you disrespect her in any way she doesn't retaliate back, but then don't expect to be in good terms with her if she suddenly isn't as friendly as before and is a bit more rough in games. All in all, Yiseul is a real person, and depending on how you treat her, she's either a friend for life or a tolerant acquaintance in the moment.

THE STORY.

THE PAST » How Yiseul entered her previous entertainment, H-Line Entertainment, was when the company was holding auditions one day and Yiseul decided to give it a try and audition with the encouragement from her friends. She was fifteen at the time. Yiseul didn't pass the first time and was quite sad, but one of the judges told her not to give up and try again another time. This made Yiseul determined to try even harder and so she came back another time when they held auditions once more. She made it, but failed the second round due to her lack of facial expressions. With the previous judge's words still in mind, Yiseul tried again, and once again she auditioned a third time and this time around she finally passed and became a trainee in H-Line Entertainment. Yiseul was going to have her solo debut in early 2011 after the debut of the company's first girl group, but it was cancelled due to the scandal concerning the company and the company didn't want to debut Yiseul because of the controversy. They even disbanded her then fellow labelmate Chocolate soon after their debut because of the scandal that rose.

THE REASON » Because of the scandal, Yiseul decided to leave the company and because of H-Line Entertainment's issue, they let her go without any problems. Yiseul was going to return back to her normal life, but her friends and even her brother told her to not give up and try another company. Yiseul was half-hearted about it, and then her brother gave her a talk and told her to treat this music career like she was on a sport team and playing for her nation's team. With that talk, Yiseul was hyped up and back to her happy self and gave it her all to join another entertainment. She then auditioned for several companies and after several offers, she tried for Jellyfish Entertainment as she thought the name was cute, but that she was also a fan of Seo Inguk, Sung Sikyung, and Park Hyoshin, and it made it easier to decide on the one she wanted. After auditioning, she was accepted into the company. Yiseul got close to VIXX through working with them a few time and then connected since then.

personality » Jackson is a crazy, goofy, weird, y and wild kind of guy. He's blunt and straightforward and doesn't beat around the bush. Jackson is the type of person that will always be able to have a good time and get people to interact and such without much effort. Jackson can get a little bit jealous if the attention isn't on him and someone else gets more attention than him. He will in and throw in his two cents even if no one is asking or talking to him and the likes. Jackson is just a natural attention , but it's usually just his out-going and talkative personality that makes him stand out and what not. Even so, Jackson means well and hanging out with him you will never have a sad moment and can always find a genuine smile on your face and get a good laugh out. Jackson is that type of person you can depend on and will be your sunny day during your dark cloudy days. Also, Jackson came be a gentleman from time to time, it just varies from time to time and the person he is with.

FIRST MEETING » They met during back stage at a music program. Yiseul came to visit the VIXX boys and she met Jackson through N and Hyuk. They were polite to one another and Yiseul couldn't help but let out a chuckle at seeing him in person. It wasn't to make fun of him, but she was happy to see him in person and that he is just normal like how he is on t.v. It kinda came off as rude to Jackson and he was a bit miffed and asked her what she was smiling or laughing about, and she just told him 'you' without actually thinking about it. Before Jackson could comment back, Yiseul had to go, and she bid them all farewell leaving the VIXX boys laughing at Jackson's annoyed expression.

love story » They start out with misunderstandings between them and Yiseul wonders why Jackson always gives her this annoyed look and waht not. Jackson doesn't really answer her and just scoffs most of the time. Yiseul finds him a bit arrogant now and wonders why his behavior is like that. Anyways, Yiseul just tolerates him and is friendly and just goes with the flow. They also compete in many things like who can eat the most, who can win in rock-paper-scissors, drink the fatest, and such. Later on they get pass their weird stage, and become friends and what not and then have feelings for one another out of the blue.

RELATIONSHIP » They start out as a bickering couple like how Jackson is with KARA's Youngji except not as intense since they don't really see each other much. So it's more like Jackson annoying her in a sense because she hasn't explain herself to him since on their first meeting. Yiseul tries to tell him, but he thinks she's lying and not really telling him the truth and what not. But in all honesty, Yiseul couldn't help but laugh when in his presence. She doesn't mean to, but Jackson just seems comical without even doing much. Jackson then acts childish around her and that he voices out whatever he's thinking and Yiseul is just baffle by his behavior and what not. Sooner or later they develop feelings for one another and deny it, thinking it's just a phase, but realize they see the other in a different light. Also, they compete not wanting to lose to the other.
