Aron's PoV

 

Baekho. You really are an idiot. You've created such a mess. “He should've just left Ren there, why'd he bring him here” I think as I turn over to check my phone again. He hasn't texted me back yet; Minhyun must've fallen asleep. I'm getting tired of stressing about Baekho and Ren and JR, but at least I get to see Minhyun tomorrow...

 

I woke up stiff from sleeping on my side. I showered and got dress quickly before the door bell rang.

 

“Good morning” Minhyun said happily when I answered the door

“Yeah, good morning. Come on in”

“Okay. Oh by the way, sorry I fell asleep while texting you last night” He sat down at the round table

“No no, it's fine haha don't worry about it” I poured some coffee for myself, “You want some?”

“Did you not have breakfast yet?” Minhyun asked

“Nah, I just got up not that long ago actually” I walked towards him

 

“Oh, then how about we stop by a cafe or something on our way” He suggested

“To?”

“I told you last night, the arcade downtown is re-opening”

“Oh yeah, right”

 

While having a casual conversation I heard movement from Baekho's room. That's right, they're still here. I'm praying that they don't come out while Minhyun is here.

 

“Hey, what's up?” Minhyun sensed my discomfort

“Oh nothing” I quickly sipped up my coffee and rushed us out the door. Just in time too because I heard Baekho's door starting to squeak open.

 

“Aren't you going to say good bye to Baekho?” Minhyun asked as I fumbled to lock the door

“Nah, he knows I'm leaving” I nervously smiled

 

“Yah, Aron where are you going so early!” Baekho shouted from the other side of the door

“Minhyun and I are going out to the arcade downtown that's re-opening”

“Oh cool. Could I come?” he asked. Baekho, you're an idiot.

“You wouldn't want to leave your company along though. Anyway, we're leaving so call if you need anything byyeeeeeeee” I grabbed Minhyun's arm and hurried him down the stairs.

 

“He has company?” Minhyun innocently asked. I stopped in my tracks. What am I supposed to tell him?

“Hm? Who?” Playing ingnorance

“Baekho”

“No, he doesn't”

“You just said he did!” Minhyun yelled

 

This is awful, what am I going to do? I can't just tell him that Baekho rescued Ren just because he drunk called him.

 

“Listen” I grabbed Minhyun's hands, “I'd hate myself if I lied to you. But I can't... you can't know... it's Baekho's job to deal with it and I strongly believe we shouldn't interfere” I spoke honestly

 

“Oh, I see..” Minhyun leaned toward me and whispered, “Did he find a boyfriend or something? Because there was another man's voice coming from his room so...”

“Um...no. Just don't worry about it” I began to walk

 

“Aron” he grabbed my arm, “Even if you think it's someone's problem to deal with, you might be hurting others by not getting involved” He spoke as if he understood the situation

“I guess you're right. I'm closer to Baekho than the person that it'd hurt. Baekho is my best friend and although he's an idiot, he has good intentions” I began to try and walk again but Minhyun's hand still gripped my arm

 

“What?”

“By any chance...” he came up behind me and whispered in my ear, “Was Ren in his room?”
