JR's PoV

I really didn't feel like talking to anyone, which is why I ran away from Baekho and Aron. I'm glad Ren

understood and followed me. Running into Minhyun wasn't that great either, but I'd rather converse with him then Baekho. It's not that I hate Baekho or anything I'm just afraid that he'll cause competition

for Ren's feelings. I guess I've been overreacting because I'm so on edge about Ren, Baekho, and worst of all, my mom. My mom despises him without proper reasoning. I'm so worried that if she finds out Ren and I are dating she might threaten him. *sigh.

“JR?” Ren finally said before we reached the nurse

“Hm?”

“I'm sorry” I could see him tremble

“You're not the one who should be apologizing. I'm sorry about the mess I've gotten you into. And for overreacting about you and Baekho” I said with a smile

“Why can't people see that you're not a bad person?” He questioned

“I...I don't know. Just a stereotype that comes with this face” I gave him a charming glare. Ren's smile returned

“Do you think the nurse is in yet?” Ren asked me

“Nah, she doesn't get here 'til like second period. That's okay though, I know where most of the stuff is anyway.” I said opening the door

“”Cause you used to get into a lot of fights right?”

“No, actually my mom and the school nurse are good friends so she'd babysit me in here when my mom had to work late”

“Oh yeah.” Ren sat down on the small couch provided for waiting patients

“EH-EM” I cleared my throat, “What seems to be the problem?” I acted

“Wweeeellll It seems someone hit me in the face. In case you didn't see the large black mark around my eye” Ren pouted

“Hmmmm. I think I can fix that!” I shouted happily. I reached into a medicine cabinet to find a special cream.. “ah ha, there it is!”. I hustled over to Ren, who moved into the patient bed. I stretched my hand beside him on the bed and leaned foreword to carefully apply the medication. I could see Ren's cheeks begin to flush and he pulled away with embarrassment.

“Neh, I'm just applying this medicinal cream” I stated, feeling red color go to my cheeks

“I...I know. Sorry...”

Suddenly the door rushed open. Opps. Why was the nurse here so early? She shouldn't be here for another hour. When she spotted us, all she could see was my hand beside Ren on the bed and our faces inches apart. Now she is going to tell my mom about us. Great......

“What are you--” She started

“M'mam, this isn't what it looks like” Ren turned toward her. A shocked expressed overwhelmed her face

“Did...did he hit you?' She began to back away slowly

“No, no. It isn't like that! Lem'me explain” I approached her

“KYYYAAAA” She dashed out the door and down the stairs as the late bell rang

Yup, we're in trouble now. Mom is going to be after Ren as soon as she hears. I gotta find a way to protect Ren...
