JaeIn P.O.V.

Here I am, standing in front of the front door of the small restaurant, taking all the courage that I need to enter the place. I need to talk to Tiffany and need to ask her why the sudden disappearance, because I realize pacing back and forth in front of the restaurant for an hour won't help me finding out the truth.
I took a deep breath, entering the place, and I was welcome with the ring of the bell.

"Welco-" Tiffany stopped as she saw me standing in front of her. She look left to right, before she realize it's too late for her to hide.

"Hi" I awkwardly wave,

"Hi" she force a smile, somewhat looking weary, "Did JaeJoong send you here?"

"No, he didn't." I look around the small space we're in, a few tables are occupied with people eating their ddeokbokki, not exactly an ideal space to talk. "Can we talk, just the two of us I mean."

"We still has some customer here, and I need to take and serve their orders, maybe some other time?" and like on cue, a customer call her out to order.

"I can wait until you're done with your shift."

"It's late, just go back home and we talk some other time, okay?"

 She might say that, but something tells me that she won't be here the next time I came.

"It'll only take a minute, I just need to ask you some things."

Tiffany turn around, grab my wrist dragging me out through the back door, which lead to a small dark alley way with no else but the two of us.

"Look, JaeIn." she look me square in the eyes "I know why you're here, and I hate to do this, but I beg you, please don't tell anyone that I'm here. I need to figure things out, alone."

"Tiffany, you disappear out of nowhere, everyone is worried about you and Mason-"

"Mason's fine, if that's what you're wondering. I just can't-" she let out a huge sigh "I know I did a huge mistake by lying to JaeJoong, telling him that Mason is his child. And when I met people like you and JaeJoong...I just..I just don't want to add more problem to you guys. I mean, what is he planning to do if he find me now? File a lawsuit against me for this? Can't you see? I don't have the money for all of that."

"What? No." I quickly deny, "He won't file a lawsuit against you, at least I don't think he will, and if he did, I can talk to him and everything will goes back to the way it use to be." I reached out my hands and held hers "Come back Tiffany, please."

She let my hands go, shooking her head "You're wrong, it won't be the same."

"This place." I point to the space around us, the dirty and dark alley way "Won't be a great place for Mason to grew up. If you're a good mom at least come back for Mason."

"And then what?" she raised her voice "You expect me to live off his money? It's not his baby remember?" she took a deep breath, before speaking to me, lowering her voice down,  "Mason might not have a dad, but I... I want to be great mother for him."

"I'm sorry, I.." I was searching for the right word, but I didn't.

There's a long pause between us, before she look away letting out another huge sigh. "Look, I can sort things out by myself." she let another sigh "I need to go back to work.I'll take you out to the front door."

I simply nod and follow her. We reached the front door, none of us say anything.

"Is there anything I can help?" I ask,

"Just don't tell anyone that I'm here, please?"

I smile.

I try to use the map to find my way back home, but my brain just won't cope with it, so I ended up taking a cab. I took the entire ride home thinking about the solution, and what am I suppose to do, but I can't find any. The truth is everything that Tiffany just said had never crossed my mind. Mason is not JaeJoong or my child, which means we got nothing to do with him, but at the back of my mind, I still want to help him.

"We've arrived miss." the driver break my trance of thought. I give him the cab fare, go out of his cab and enter my home.

"I'm home." I announced.

Mom quickly rush to the front door, "Do you realize what time it is?"

"I'm sorry." I simply apologize and walk towards my room.

I close the door, put my bag on the ground and slam my whole body to the bed, feeling exhausted and hopeless. I then hear a gentle knock on the door "JaeIn.." my mom call out "I'm coming in." she says before opening the door.

I kept my head deep inside my pillow, and I can feel the weight on my bed as my mom sat down next to me. She softly caress my head "W
