Yoon Bomi x Song Mino (Winner)

“Eomeoni~ I really miss you!” Bomi run to the conveniece store’s owner as she opened the door. This convenience store is her favorite since her predebut times. Whenever she has free time, she would hangout there alone to talk with it’s owner.

“Waah... Our pretty Bomi~ I miss you too! Though you appeared a lot on TV, I’m lonely because you didn’t visit me for a long time~” Eomeoni sincerely welcomed her behind the cashier desk.

“Aaaw~” Bomi hugged, then sit beside her.

Eomoni always love this cute side of Bomi. “By the way, do you want to eat something? Ice cream? Triangular kimbap? I’ll treat you, just get as many as you want~”

Bomi ran to the one of the store’s shelf and grabbed her favorite Kimbab. “This!” She grinned then run back to her chair again. “But still, let me pay for the usual.”

“...............” Eomeoni just stare at Bomi with motherly smile after she heard ‘the usual’.

“What should I write this time~? Should I left a kiss mark? Hahahahaha”. Bomi didn’t realize Eomeoni’s stare and just took a pen and small paper to write some notes. It’s been more than a year for Bomi doing this stuff.

Bomi always asked Eomeoni to give a ginseng beverage sachet for a certain someone along with an encouraging note. She started do that after she met him there by coincidence, then knew that he’s a regular customer. “Is there something wrong?” She finally realized Eomeoni’s stare.

“You still love that guy? Even if he never knew that you’re the one who always give those things...” Eomeoni asked with her soft tone.

“It’s better like that, this is just one sided admiration!” Bomi tried to sounds positive. “Moreover, he’s a hoobae of mine, so I’m worried if he knew that I’m the one who did these strange things, it’ll be hella awkward!” She laughed lifelessly.

“But everytime, you always just wrote ‘don’t forget to eat, sleep, and play’. It wasn’t strange at all!” Eomeoni always know how sincere Bomi’s feelings are.

“It’s strange, Eomeoni~ And I couldn’t even imagine his expression the moment he knew about this!” Bomi keep arguing back.

Eomeoni just pinched Bomi’s cheeks. “Ya! You shouldn’t talking back to your elders! Just confessed or at least approach him already!”

“No~ He definitely wouldn’t like it~ He’s so cool, while I have this ridiculously-stupid-girl image....”

“Ya, you never know until you try~! And I think that he’s not that different with your image either.....” Her jokes success to make Bomi laughed happily again. “Ah! I almost forgot. Last time, maybe a month ago, he left a note for you...”

Eomeoni handed a small paper to Bomi, while Bomi just dazed in confusion.

“Wh..What?”

“He wrote it for you... Read it!”

“....Ginseng-nim....” Bomi couldn’t help but laugh after she read Mino’s cute notes. “Waah~ Actually, recieving this thank you notes is more than enough for me....”

Before Bomi could manage her feelings, Eomeoni suddenly screamed in panicked “He’s here, Bomi-ah!! He’s here!” She pointed at Mino walks towards the convinience store from the opposite street.

Bomi couldn’t even let out a single word, and just hide below the cashier desk as fast as lightning in reflex.

“Long time no see, Eomeoni...” Mino entered the store with a wide smile and bowed politely.

Bomi’s heart almost explode in nervousness, while Eomeoni couldn’t help but keep take a glance repeatedly at Bomi. “Ah... yeah... Long time no see...”

“How are you?”

“I... I’m fine... Ho... How about you?” She replied awkwardly because Bomi couldn’t stay still and hugged her right leg.

“Never been better.” Mino answered warmly. “But, are you really okay? You look a lil bit....”

“I’m alright!” Eomeoni tried to act as natural as possible, but she can’t.”....It’s only because someone is grabbing my leg too tight rightnow....” She whispered and give Bomi a death glare.

“Excuse me?”

“Nothing!.... Um, by the way, do you need something, Mino-ssi?”

“Ah... I would like a ginseng beverage sachet...” Mino grinned shyly.

“....Ginseng beverage sachet?” Eomeoni took a glance on Bomi once again. She could tell Bomi is froze in surprised.

“Somehow, it becomes a habit of me.... Drinking a ginseng beverage sachet from this store” Mino explained with a shy smile.

“She just came by the way...” Eomeoni blurted out unconsiously. “So... as always, it’s her treat... Here.”

“She came?” Mino smiled widely as if he’s hoping for it. “Did she left a note? Did she read my last note?”

“..........” Eomeoni just couldn’t stand watching these two youngsters not progressing at all. “......Would you like to meet her, Mino-ssi?” Bomi raging quitely below the desk after she heard Omonie’s question towards Mino. 

“Of course! I’m always thankful for her sincere supports.... That’s why I would like her to know how much I appreciate it.” He actually didn't know why he really want to meet her either. But one thing for sure, he wants to know the reason why he has this mysterious feelings.

“But do you have any idea why she doesn’t want to meet you directly even if she could?”

Mino didn’t expect that question at all. “Um... Maybe because she’s busy? Or.... Too shy? Ah, I’m not sure. I actually hope to meet her since a long time ago. But it’s been more than a year and we still didn’t get the chance...” He doesn’t realized that his words slowly makes Bomi really want to appear in front of him.

Eomeoni could feel Bomi’s grasp becomes tighter. “....I can guarantee you that she’s not a weird girl. She’s just a lil bit too energetic. Hahahaha.” She wants to make Bomi and Mino relax more. 

“Hahaha, I actually could picture what kind of person she is. And that makes me want to meet her even more..”

“To be honest... both of you were just separated by a thin barrier which created from your own worries. You have the power to make your own fate turn into destiny. So you should take that first step now!” Eomeoni talked to Bomi but acted like she’s talking to Mino.

“............” Mino just stayed silent because he didn’t know how to response, and just the same with Bomi.

Suddenly Eomeoni write some notes, then give it to Mino. “You would like to meet her, right?” She’s calmly letting go Bomi’s hands from her leg, and left both of them alone.

Mino who still can’t understand the situation, didn’t stop Eomeomi and just read the notes in question.

Her name is Yoon Bomi. Yes, that Yoon Bomi who impersonated gorilla on TV.
And she’s now right in front of you, hiding below this desk.
Hope you could greet and thanks her properly.

“............” Mino was too confuse to get his senses, while Bomi is panicking because Eomeoni left her there. “....Is this a joke?” He goes to the back side of cashier desk innocently. “It’s impossible for Yoon Bo...”

Finally Mino’s eyes met Bomi’s directly, who cruched down like a scared kid. “..........” He were too shocked to say anything.

Bomi immediately get up just to make her head knocked the desk. “Aaw!!”

“Ah, are... are you okay?” Mino asked with his stuttered voice.

“Yeah, don’t worry....” Bomi were too embarrased to face him.

“..............” Both of them couldn’t say any word because of their nervousness.

“Um... thank you so much, for the gingseng and the notes.” Mino finally mustered his courages to say something. He could see Bomi is having a hard time because she’s too embarrased.

Bomi eventually lifted her head slowly. “Sorry if I scare or surprise you....”

“No, not at all! Um.... I’m actually really happy that I finally could meet you.”

“....Please don’t ask me how could I ended up below that desk...” Bomi’s silly and random remarks always works at awkward situation, which make both of them chuckled in unison.

“Ah.... I’m really glad it was you...” Mino smiled in relief.

Bomi only could respond with a smile. “.......”

“Here.” Mino gave Bomi a ginseng beverage sachet.

“Is this your treat?”

“Yeah, as I promised.” He took another one for himself, then sat on one of the cashier’s chair. “So.... nice to meet you, Ginseng-nim. I’m Song Mino.” He offered his hand with a wide smile. “Let’s talk about... a lot of things!”

Hi, imraafa here. Well, I want to try this kind of weird encounter story between the characters. Hahaha, hope it’s still a sweet story for you guys.
