"Yeah, nothing is as good as it should be
'Cause this is the rehearsal
Yeah, in between the was and the could be
Love is the reversal
Love is the great reversal."

Friday evening . Hayi sat in a corner of a small shop, head in her arms. She barely registered the waitress placing the cup of coffee she ordered in front of her; the smell wafted to her nose, enticing her to look up, but the weight of the day pushed her to bury her face in her hands a little longer.   "I don't want to go back on Monday," she moaned quietly to herself. Fresh hot tears escaped her, despite her willing herself not to cry again. Then again, what difference does it make when she had cried all the way here?   She deliberated on calling her sister; but knowing Chaerin, that would be more trouble than it was worth. It wasn't, after all, the first time she'd hear of this.   She thought of calling her mother, who would probably understand better; but she felt silly. She's twenty-two; she should feel more capable of handling whatever monsters would crop up in her workplace. Her father would probably only tell her to learn from this bad day.   She looked up slightly at her phone in her hands. She scrolled down the contacts list, aimlessly reading each name. One such name made her pause a second longer.   She sighed. Suhyun was in Mongolia with her family. She felt instant regret at the lack of probable people she could call at this very moment. "If I run away, will I have better chances of making more friends?..." Hayi thought mournfully. "Would I have a better shot at a career without horrible people around me..."   "Hello?"   Hayi's eyes widened as she belatedly realized that her thumb, which was resting on her phone, had called someone without her consent. Her fingers shook as she registered as to who she had called.   "Hayi, are you there?"   "Umm," Hayi brought the phone to her ear. "Hello Hanbin. Sorry, I misdialled. I wasn't supposed to call you."   She could hear Hanbin snort on the other line. "That isn't like you, Lee Hayi. Then again, calling me on purpose wouldn't be like you, eithe

Chapter 11: How irony that i read this after hanbin leaving ikon and can't help to point out some similarities between this story line with the real life situation right now. Like how this jiwon got involved with drug and it's the freaking thing people accused hanbin with. Like how hayi said "welcome back, hanbin-ah" and that's how i want it to happen so much since hayi is having her comeback around but it feels so much emptiness without hanbin as her best friend to fill his singing parts. Despite this one very thing happened, it still manages to hurt me beyond words. And i shouldn't ponder about it often for now as I'm sitting for my final exam till 1st july. I need to stay focus, yet we know it's still futile to put aside the thing that matter to us. Let's just hope everything will go back the way it was, better and greater.

Chapter 10: Thank you for taking the time to write this!
cinnamonspunk #5
Chapter 8: Bravo! Hanbin’s speech to Jiwon was well written!
cinnamonspunk #6
Chapter 7: I love the line, “My comfort pales in comparison.” It just rolled off the tongue nicely!
I also thought of the line where Lee Hi says it doesn’t matter if you know what you want to do or not, as long as you look forward. There’s depth to it, and I agree with her. People are always saying you have to follow your dreams, but dreams don’t make good leaders. You can give up things that you’d like to do for the best things.

Chapter 6: I love the verse you put in the beginning. “Love is the great reversal.”

And these two are so sweet!

Chapter 4: Okay so he didn’t commit suicide. Death is really an awful thing. But it can be overcome.

You capture emotions well!
cinnamonspunk #9
Chapter 3: Oh no, he committed suicide! It’s such an awful thing ): I wish people knew that they have hope in a living God so that they won’t just throw away their lives.

Chapter 1: I think the way you describe details is lovely, and when you started talking about lights and warmth, I immediately thought of this, “God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all.”
