Minho's POV

It was just another day. A peaceful, windy day. What a nice day to cycle this bicycle of mine down this road. This autumn just makes it better. Nice to brighten up my days. At least I get to see my favourite season in my last year. If I would even have a year. I can keep these live images until the last day. 

"Hey, you sure you don't need a ride there, oppa?". (sigh) My sister, Krystal. Always asking me if I would want to do just about anything with her. Well... at least she never asks me to accompany her to the girls' bathroom. Although, I understand why she acts this way with me. She just wants to be with me as much as possible. Before she couldn't do so anymore. That's alright Krystal, I understand. 

"Nah... I'll just cycle to school. Go on... speed up first. Will meet you later!", I said while smiling to her and waving my hand.

"Alrighty! " She drove off, leaving me behind with my bike.

" Hey Minho, you're kinda late ya know? ". My friend, Key said to me. We've been friends since the first day of school, and he's been my best pal since then. Always there for me. I never say anything to show him how happy I am to have him as my best friend, but he knows well how I show my gratitude. 

"Yeah, I know. What do you expect, I finally start cycling again! ". I opened my locker to take out my books out of it. 

" Really? Wow... good for you mate. It's good for you... now in your condition. "

Key's expression changes as he said it. I just feel sorry for making everyone around me worried. Yet again, I can't stop them from feeling so. I just hope.... no.... I know they can cope well with it. Key's strong hearted, he'll get through it. He has to...

Jinri's POV

Aish.... just how long is this lady going to talk? Come on now, I just got here!  Why do I even come to this school? I think it's better if I just home school. Just hope Mom's right about not feeling lonely anymore when I make some friends. 

"Enjoy your studies, and I wish you all the best, Miss Jinri. " She said with a smile. At least it's comforting.  

" Thank you", I said, handshaking with the headmistress. 

" I'm sure you know how to find your way to your class with the map I gave you, right? "

"  Mhmm. I think I can handle it. " I said as nicely as possible..

" Where was it again? (sigh) Jinri, calm down and look at the map again! " I look at the map for the umpteenth time, no luck." Why does this school has to be so big.. ".  I couldn't even read the map.Wait,before you say anything, let me rephrase that. I CAN READ A MAP. It's just the place that's confusing! 

" Ok Jinri, now that you're lost, maybe you should just go back to the office and ask the headmistress again. No big deal. "

It was no big deal if I could find my way back to the office of course. But..... like I said, THE PLACE IS FREAKIN HUMONGOUS. 

" Yah Choi Jinri, you're such a stupid girl! ".  I literally screamed at this point. Then suddenly, a guy came rushing to me with a worried face. 

" Miss, are you okay?! " 

I stopped screaming to turn and look at him." Huh? "

" It's just that.... I was in the corridor nearby and I heard you screaming. Did anything happen to you? " 

" Ahaha.. it was nothing.... I just.... "I began playing with my fingers. Great Jinri, way to go embarassing yourself on your first day. I looked at him, and he was staring at me with a soft gaze. I swear I felt my face turning red. Just hoping it wasn't obvious. 

" Wait, I...uh...I've never seen you around here in the school before. I remember almost everyone here... but not you. Are you...new here? " He was asking with a smile on his face. For a moment there, I thought he looked so charming. 

" Uh.. huh.. ". I nodded. 

" Really? Welcome! " He suddenly smiles with an eye smile. 

" T-thank you." I didn't know why I stuttered. 

He looks at his watch and looked at me again with a weak smile. He seemed to be late for something. 

"Umm... I guess... I need to go now. I'm kinda late for class. So... I hope we see each other again soon. Oh... by the way, I'm Minho. Bye" He waves his hand and turned around. Then I remembered, I don't know where my class is. 

"Umm... Minho! "

" Yeah? " He turned around again,facing me. 

" I'm...I think I'm.. lost. " 

He chuckles and walked towards me. He was walking fast straight to me. What is he trying to do? Oh God, no... please DON'T COME NEAR ME! 

" Ja,let's go to where you're headed then! " He said and casually hangs his arm around my neck as we walk. What? Umm.... what was his name again.... Minho? I still don't know you cuz we just met like 3 minutes ago! 

" Neh.. " I just didn't know why I didn't remove his arm from my neck. Choi Jinri, what are you doing he's a stranger! Why are you doing what your head's telling you not to do...

It turned out, we're classmates. Just great. Well.... at least I have someone that I know in the class. We entered the classroom, greeted with a teacher. She looks nice. She turned to Minho and me with a smile. 

"Ah... Mr. Minho you'rr late again I see. " 

" I'm sorry, I was on my way and I met with this girl along the way. She was lost. " He bowed 90 degrees. What a polite guy! 

" Is that so? Ok then,you can go to your seat now." She said to Minho politely. Then she turned to me, still with her smile and raised her eyebrows. "You must be a new student, am I right?" 

"Uh... yes. Choi Jinri imnida" I bowed at her just like Minho did. Well, who knows maybe she likes her students bowing? At least I tried. 

" Choi Jinri? Welcome! What should we call you? "

" Jinri. Jinri is fine. " I smiled at her. 

" Ok. Class, say hi to your new classmate, Jinri. Treat her well, ok?Jinri, you can take your seat. Pick anywhere you like. "

I turned to face the whole class to see Minho waving at me, asking me to sit on the empty sit beside him. I obeyed. What? He's the only one I know in the whole school! As soon as I sat, a girl sitting in front of me turned around with a grin. She was beautiful. She held out her hand to me, offering a handshake. 

"Hey, I'm Krystal pleasure to meet you! "

I looked at her name tag. Right, her name really is Krystal. I thought she was playing around with her name, but nope. She's definitely Krystal." I'm Jinri. " I took the handshake happily. " Krystal? As of crystal with a c? "

She giggled. I didn't know why, but I laughed as well. But not hysterically, yeah? 

" Well, somewhat like that. Welcome here. "

" Thank you. "

" Yah, the teacher's trying to teach. You can talk later. " Said a guy with black spiky hair sitting next to her. 

" This is Key. As of key for the locks. Kekeke" Krystal teased the guy named Key. 

"Yah, you wanna die? " Key said jokingly to her. 

" Just stop it, you two. Pay attention. " Minho said to them with a serious tone. Seems like he's one of those studious students then. I remind to myself not to distract him during classes. 

" It's not like we're learning something really hard. It's just about how to use falsetto. God you're too serious. " Key said as he return his attention to the lesson. 

" Key, stop it. You'll make him mad. Sorry oppa. " Krystal said to Minho with an apologetic smile. 

" Oppa? "I asked Krystal. 

" She's my sister. She's not so worried cuz she's good at acting and singing. " Krystal grinned as her brother said that. Wow... now what am I good at? Now I realised I'm in a performing art's school. Hmm... maybe acting? 

" Wow. You must be really great! "

" Nah, it's just that I do my best. "

While she was talking, the teacher turned around and saw her facing back.

" Krystal, can you demonstrate how to use falsetto correctly? " The teacher asked with a smile. How can she punish with a smile?  She's so damn pleasant. Krystal was surprised to hear the teacher calling her name. She stood up calmly and walked to the front of the class. She was so calm for someone who's not prepared. Yeah right... she's a genius. Things like these don't even need a quarter of her effort to be done. She took a breath and started to sing using her falsetto. You know how using falsetto makes your voice sound a bit funny. But nope. She sounded perfectly fine. After singing a verse, she stopped and went back to her seat in front of me. 

"That was exciting! " Krystal muttered to herself. Umm... what was so exciting about a punishment?

Minho's POV

I walked together with Jinri, Key and Krystal to the cafeteria. Why? No, I don't eat cafeteria food. Krystal and I just eat whatever our Mom made for us. Jinri and Key went to the counter to buy some food for them to eat. We walked to the school' s garden to eat there. I don't know what was going on with me, but I just couldn't help but look at Jinri every time. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't in a erted way! It's just that... she was so beautiful. Her face, her skin and her lips. IT WASN'T IN A ERTED WAY,I'M WARNING YOU. STOP THINKING OF IT THAT WAY. 

"So, Jinri you were born in...? " Key asked Jinri. 

" 1994." Jinri responded while chewing on her red bean bun. She looks so cute with her lips going pouty when she chews. DO NOT get the wrong idea! 

"Really? Oppa, we're 94' liners.. Finally someone of my age! " Krystal got all excited and hugged Jinri making her almost choke on her food. I couldn't help but just chuckle. 

" Finally, no more just hanging out with old men! " 

Ok. That just went too far. Me? AN OLD MAN?! This is unacceptable. 

" Yah yah yah... who are you calling an old man? " 

" Hmm? You and Key of course, oppa. Hahaha! " My sister said it and innocently laughed. Stop that, I AM NOT OLD! 

" Yah, I'm not old! " Said Key with disbelief. Jinri who watched us fighting over being young and old laughed that her cheeks turn pink. Damn. What a beautiful creature... Ok,I admit. I do like her. BUT NOT IN A ROMANTIC WAY, GET IT? NOT. ROMANTIC. THE END. 

We spent the rest of the recess time laughing and getting to know more about the new girl, Jinri.

Jinri's POV

(sigh) Finally, time to go home. I walked out of the school gate with my backpack. Krystal and Key drove their own cars back home.Krystal passed by me and rolled down her window. 

"Jinri ah, you're walking? "

" Mhmm. "

" You don't want me to drive you home? "

" Nah... I prefer walking. " I replied to her politely.It's not that I don't want to, but I just like walking. It helps me to ease my mind a little bit. 

" Ah jinjja.... ok then. See ya, bye! " 

" Bye! " 

Krystal waved her hand and sped off. I'm alone again. Okay. Maybe I should walk and enjoy the view of the leaves falling down from the trees above me. Autumn. I just love the colour of it. Everything seemed... in harmony. I thought of Minho. I don't know  what to say... he's just so.... gentle. Charismatic as well. His deep voice... his well-built body. He even has two adam's apples. NO NO NO. It's not what you think it is. Look guys, I JUST MET HIM, REMEMBER? No way I'm starting to like him after a day at school! Or.... maybe I do? No Jinri. Just no. You can't.

Minho's POV

I ride on my bicycle and cycled out the school down the road which I know so much. I looked into the distance and saw Jinri, walking alone, while looking at the leaves that were falling. Go on Minho, talk to her! 

"Jinri! " I called out her name. She turned around and smiled brightly at me. Luckily I didn't fell off my bike. Luckily Minho. 

" Yeah? Oh... you go home by your own? I just saw Krystal driving in her car. " Jinri said as I got off my bicycle. 

" Yeah, we go seperately. I used to drive, but... not anymore. " I smiled weakly at her. Great... another friend. And she still doesn't know yet. How can I tell her? " So, you walk home? "

" Yeah. I love observing what's around me. " Jinri smiled and took in a deep breath. She smiled after doing so." Especially taking in fresh air. It makes me..... happy. " Oh... so that's why you smiled to yourself. 

" Really? " I got back on my bicycle. She looked at me with a puzzled look." Then let's go sightseeing shall we? "I was hoping she'd say yes. She's just pleasant to be around with. 

" Where? "

" Anywhere you want. Hop on. "

I thpught she was saying no. But then she got on my bike and hugged me to stabilze her body. I swear I did flinch. Fortunately she didn't notice. 

" Ok. Let's go! " She says as she punches her fist up in the air. That's adorable. Okay Jinri. Let's go wherever you wanna go.
