I have always wondered why people say ‘I love you’, as if to emphasize themselves. For me, it would be ‘You, I love’, because for me, you are way more important than I am.


Storyline
My dream was to become a professional pianist, and ever since my late childhood years, I have been working hard for that dream to come true. Having parents who have just enough to financially support you, it was not only a dream anymore; it was our family’s future. I could not rely solely on my talent, since I was not a piano genius, but I did my utmost best to perfect my playing. When an accident caused my hand to be severely injured, it was as if my world fell apart. As I cried while eating in a restaurant, someone suddenly walked passed my table while leaving a poker card on my table. I did not think too much about it, and picked it up to give it back to him. However, I found out something was written on it. That is when my life takes a whole new turn.

A long (and important) author's note
Tinywings is presenting another story! I am extremely excited with this one, since this one means a lot to me. I have had this plot since last summer break, when I went on vacation, and it never left my mind. However, since I already started ‘We were there’, I wanted to write that one first, and I ended up writing a sequel for another story. Therefore, I never had the chance for this one. I have wanted to write a similar story like this one for such a long time already, but I never had the courage to, since it takes a lot of time and effort to come up with a good storyline. However, I am willing to challenge myself with this one.

But this not the only reason why this one story is special to me, and the other reason is that I decided to put some more in it. I did not plan on writing this one so soon, but something caused me to do so. Having reached the age of eighteen and going to my first year of university, I not only matured, I also learned a lot. Hearing stories from my friends who cannot get along with their parents, who cannot seem to communicate with them, and sometimes felt suffocated, it woke me up. Not only because of parents, of course. Even family can be. But I feel like your parents do not have to be arguing to each other, to make your home an unhappy place to be. It does not have to be hatred that separates you and others. Simply the fact that people place distance is enough. Simply the fact that life is not perfect is enough. I used to think my life was ‘normal’, I even looked at the world in my own, naive bubble, but realized it was not. There are always things that hurt, even though they are not big enough to torture you. When your parents do not share the same opinion, sometimes, it does hurt. When it feels like they do not understand you, it does sadden you. When you realize how friends come and go, it does wake you up. Just because you are family, does not mean they will unconditionally like you.

Little things like these do wake you up. At least, it woke me up. Therefore, if you are thinking this is a romantic, fluff story, I will have to disappoint you. In this story, I have and will be putting things in of my own, things I have experienced. That is why this time the main character is so precious to me. It does not necessarily means that everything the main character experiences, is something that I have also experienced in the exact same way. Sometimes it may be, sometimes I just wrote it different, and sometimes I took it from one of my friends. That is also why it is sometimes scary for me to write this, but I will still write this with pleasure. That is also why the first two chapters mean a lot to me, even though they may bore some. But maybe you will recognize yourself in it too, and if you do not, maybe you will understand her thoughts. 

I do hope you all enjoy this story, despite everything above. I will do my utmost best to make this a great story! Also, I would like to thanks two great people *getting embarrassed* First is panda_0_o, who has been giving me a lot of support for this story. Thank you for being so excited, I really felt happy! All my biases in one story… Oh boy… XD… Even though two are still missing, but maybe they will appear too keke *quickly shuts * For the poster, I did not know whether to put Kyuhyun on it or not, thinking it may be revealing too much or even give people a wrong impression. But… I think is okay like this… I hope… XD Well, ENJOYYYYY! :D

“Jinyoung hyung,” I looked at Taemin as he spoke, “why? Why would you choose someone like her?”

A smirk appeared on my lips as I saw his disapproving expression.

“Taemin-ah, we need a girl, you know that. In order to perfect our flawless group, we need a female companion.”

“I know, I know, I know! But hyung, we need someone who is intelligent, elegant, fast, and most importantly, beautiful. Cho Chunhei will not work, hyung. She did not even understand what you meant when you offered her the place of our third companion.”

I casually shook my head with a grin. As if I would choose the wrong person.

“Taemin, she was able to solve the code on the poker card in just minutes. Without a doubt, she will be our third companion.”

“Hyung, that was such an easy code-” He put his hand up to stop me from telling him the opposite. “Fine, do as you please. However, she just ran away, hyung. You think she will come back again?”

A confident smirk crept on my lips.

“She will. Without a doubt, she will.”
