Jaejoong grabbed her wrist before she could slash his face.
He laughed out loud. "Baby girl, what do you think you're doing with this?"
Jiyeon's eyes widened as she held her breath.
He scoffed as he threw the scissors across the room.
She heard that thing hit the ground and immediately knew he was definitely going to do something to her.
"Look at me."
Jiyeon slowly tilted her head to the sound of his voice.
"Up here."
Of course, how would that be possible? She wouldn't know where his eyes were unless she could feel his face.
Jaejoong frowned when he thought she was doing it on purpose.
He grabbed her cheeks with his right hand, squeezing them tightly.
"Why do you detest me so much? I've been nothing but nice to you! Why can't you see that!", he shouted.
Jiyeon gasped as he tightened his grip on her.
"You should ask yourself that question", she replied.
When Jaejoong realised she was suffocating, he quickly released her.
"I'm so sorry", he caressed her reddened cheeks. "I didn't mean to hurt you."
Jiyeon was terrified over the change of his personality.
She didn't know what he was up to when she was engulfed into a hug.
"Remember that one time you bumped into me at the café?"
{FLASHBACK}
After class ended, she decided to go on an "adventure trip" since she had no friends in school.
As she went along her usual route, she came a cross a new shop that she has never seen before.
When she was about to take another step forward, she stumbled forward, almost falling down.
Jiyeon frowned when she looked up and saw the person just went off ahead like that without even saying a word of apology.
"Idiot."
She pushed her hair back and stomped her way towards the new shop.
"Perfect", she muttered as she saw that it was a café.
She really needed a drink to calm herself down.
Jiyeon wasn't an angsty person but her rare disease turned her into one.
She could not afford herself to express her feelings at its maximum point or she'll black out.
"Hi ma'am. What would you like to have today?"
"Hmm...", Jiyeon scanned through the menus on the counter as she bit onto her bottom lips. She couldn't decide.
She didn't like coffee or milkshakes and she couldn't find any iced tea available.
"Do you have non-milk based drinks?"
The lady behind the cashier smiled, "We do ma'am, it's all here", she pointed out to her.
Jiyeon mentally scolded herself for being "blind", the options were just right there in front of her.
"I'll get the passion fruit tea."
After making her order, she waited for her drinks at the other side when she felt another collision on her shoulder.
Before she could actually fall down this time, a hand grabbed her elbow.
"So sorry about that."
"It's fine", she retrieved her arm back and quickly turned back around, this time waiting impatiently for her drink.
Heaving a huge sigh, her eyes diverted back to the guy who just bumped into her when she gasped silently.
"It was that idiot who didn't apologised earlier!"
"Ma'am here's your drink."
Jiyeon took her drink and quickly made her way out of the shop but stopped halfway when she realised she left her wallet at the counter."
"Urgh", she groaned and turned around when she fell backwards, causing her drink to spill onto her uniform.
Jiyeon screamed when she felt the ice cold drink splashed onto her skin.
"I'm so sorry little girl."
"Sorry?!?", she shrieked as she stood up. More angry at when he called her a little girl. "What is with you?! This is the 3rd time you—", she suddenly felt lightheaded.
Jiyeon cursed under her breath.
"Miss, are you okay? I'm really sorry I swear I didn't do it on purpose."
The guy realised
