"So, did you go on a business trip or a date with your in laws?", Baekhyun asked with a smirk.

Sehun rejected the offer of having dinner with Daeun and her parents as he lied he had some unfinished business to do.

"We met by coincidence."

DO was suspicious after Sehun came back with Daeun.

Chanyeol didn't come along with the boys due to work.

Kai was missing and Jiyeon too.

He has been keeping it inside of him because he isn't the  type to tattletale about others.

DO knew that Kai, Sehun and Chanyeol had suddenly become closer to Jiyeon, even before they knew she was Chanyeol's little sister.

But he just couldn't put a finger to it.

Maybe Ara misunderstood Sehun to be cheating or there was another story that nobody knows.

"I need to go—"

"Already?", Suho asked, because they just got back and he's already heading out.

Sehun sighed, "I got a report to submit."

"Yah, it's almost midnight. Can't it wait till tomorrow?"

"And I'm sure your father would understand", Suho agreed with what Baekhyun said.

DO went over to Sehun and patted his shoulders.

"I'll cook you supper."

Going to class was a drag for Jiyeon.

After last night, she was just not up for any face to face confrontation.

"That's not the way to class."

"I know, I just wanted to go to the ladies", she answered, trying to sound as normal as possible. "I'll see you later."

He looked down on her with a mixture of feelings. 

Though it angered him when she seemed to be ignoring him. 

At that moment, he wasn't sure whether he would rather argue with her about what had happened yesterday, or simply walk away. 

He chuckled. "The ladies isn't that way either."

Now Jiyeon was caught.

"Can we talk?"

"Seulgi-ah, are you okay?"

Ara immediately went out to meet Seulgi at the staircase as soon as she got a call.

She sniffled, tears rolling down her cheeks.

"He hasn't contacted me ever since. What should I feel about it?", Seulgi bawled out.

Luckily, they were at the other end of the building where the staircase was.

So no students would pass by and eavesdrop on them.

"Don't let it affect you. They're just friends. I'm sure of it. You should know Kai's habits. Who asked you to fall for a guy like that?", Ara sighed.

That didn't make Seulgi feel any better as she frowned in displease.

"Then what should I do next?"

Ara smiled.

"I have an idea."

Jiyeon has never felt more awkward than she did at that moment. 

They were standing in the middle of the field with Kai while she waited for him to speak.

"I didn't want anybody else to know about this. And I didn't know where else to go since all the other classrooms are occupied", he finally spoke.

She looked at her watch and realised she only had 5 more minutes left till class starts.

"I'm sorry Ji", Kai held both of her hands and she flinched at the contact.

"I was an idiot. I shouldn't have said those things. It was rude of me. I didn't mean any of it, I promise. I was just…overwhelmed. You filled in the empty void in me and I thought Sehun was supposed to be your enemy."

He paused for a moment, softly caressing her hand.

"I thought I wouldn't be affected when the two of you suddenly became closer to each other but I was wrong", he felt embarrassed.

The playboy's feeling became a turmoil just because of a girl, which actually wasn't his type.

"Can we pretend that everything never happened?"
