"Oh you guys are back! We're about to have–"

Sehun and Chanyeol just went inside and slammed the door to their room.

DO blinked and put the ladle down.

"Who woke me up from my nap?", Baekhyun rubbed his eyes and sat at the dining table.

"I'm not sure what's going on but I have a feeling it's not going to be good."

This would be the 15th time she had thrown up.

Kai assisted her back to the bed and helped her lie down.

"Stupid side effect."

"Hey, at least you finally get to feel normal again. I mean the doctor said there has been progress. It's just that you'll have to go through–"

"I'll be right back", Jiyeon ran to the bathroom again.

"That", Kai sighed and followed her.

"You what?"

"I know I'm making things worse Ara but I can't wait any longer. I've been lying and hurting myself for the past 1 year."

Daeun returned to the dorm she shared with Ara.

She told her friend what happened and Ara didn’t like the whole thing.

"I don't understand what your intentions are Daeun. I thought they were your best friends? At first you chose Chanyeol, and then you disappeared a few months after that to follow your parents. And then when you came back, Sehun was getting all indifferent and then now Sehun and you are together? My brain is about to explode", Ara pulled the ends of her hair and paced about their living room.

Daeun waited for Sehun's reply. She had just texted him asking about the situation over that side.

"Hello?", Daeun answered the call.

"Ara, I'll be late, so don't wait up for me", she told her before making her way out and placing the phone back to her ears.

"Took you long enough."

The atmosphere back at the boys’ dorm was difficult to comprehend.

As the eldest one, Suho tried talking to both Sehun and Chanyeol but got nothing out of them.

"They didn't even eat breakfast", DO muttered as he poured cereal into his bowl.

"So that's why you didn't cook us something proper today", Baekhyun pouted. "I guess I have to eat school food to fuel up my energy for the soccer match later."

"I give up." Suho raised both of his hands in defeat.

"I know Sehun would be difficult to get by but Chanyeol? What happened to him?"

DO shrugged. "I guess we'll just have to wait and ask around."

"Oh, by the way, have you guys seen the news?"

"What about the news?", DO asked Suho who was showing them something in his phone.

"Daeun made it to the top of the socialites list."

"Wow, she's on a roll", DO scrolled down as he read further. "Even the President's son wants to date her."

"She's literally everywhere now that she's back here in Korea. Her parents business is also on the rise", Suho added and took his phone back from DO when he got a text message.

"Chanyeol is a one lucky dude", Baekhyun said in envy and looked wearily at DO, hoping he won't ask him to go and find a girlfriend again.

"Maybe we can ask Daeun about Chanyeol", DO suggested.

"Speaking of that", Baekhyun wondered, "Where's Kai?"

Sehun looked to his left as Daeun sat at Jiyeon's spot. He thought of visiting her after school today but Daeun insisted he accompanied her to find her dress for an event she's attending.

Kai was feeling uneasy the whole lesson as he fidgeted about in his seat.

The moment the bell rang, he got out of the class immediately.

"Sehun, where are you going?", Daeun asked as she saw him following after Kai. "You were supposed to accompany me to the mall remember?"

"Jongin?"

"Hyung."
